For Type 2 Diabetes "No side effects other than loss of appetite and feeling full faster and eating less on lower doses. Good BGL around 100. Once I started 1 mg, I got indigestion, nausea, gas, burping, loose stools, and watery stools. Blamed it on PPI meds for GERD symptoms but continues after I stopped PPI meds. I'm guessing the loose watery stools is the Ozempic at this point. I'm supposed to go to 2 mg weekly but I may not be able to handle it at that dose."

For Type 2 Diabetes "I have been on Ozempic for 6 months now. My weight has dropped from 134 kg to 102 kg, a loss of 32 kilograms. I was unwell for the first 2 months, but things settled after that. However, during the past month, I have started getting really bad nausea with some vomiting, diarrhea, and burping (sulfur taste). The doctor has dropped me back down to 0.5 mg dose to see if it improves. I do not take any other medication. HbA1 has gone from 7.1 down to 5.7. Blood glucose is in the 4.9 to 5.8 range. I must stress that for this to work, you have to watch what you are eating and do regular exercise."

For Type 2 Diabetes "Been on Ozempic for 2 years. Now I experience stomach problems and gastro problems. Stomach pain, nausea, acid and bile issues. Diarrhea, gas, burping all the time. I think it's taking a toll on my body. It sucks. There are times I can't even function. I'm lost now. Sick of being sick."

For Type 2 Diabetes "Overall positive, typical side effects at the beginning with nausea and diarrhea lasting about 3 to 4 months, then intermittent since being on Ozempic for over 4 years now. It is not perfect, but it has helped me manage my blood sugars to the point my A1C is below 6.5 consistently for over 2 years. I am now on the highest dosage as of June 2024. I don't know how long the benefits will last before it is no longer effective at helping me manage my DM2."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Nausea and diarrhea for 4 days, so I couldn't eat a lot the first 4 days and lost 6 lb in 3 weeks. I would love to be able to afford it each month. My doctor gave me a free sample for a month to see how I did on it, but my insurance won't pay for it, and the heart doctor told me that I had to lose weight. 2 years ago, I had a heart attack and had double bypass surgery."

For Type 2 Diabetes "I had my first 0.25 injection on Monday morning. I have had nausea from about 2 hours after injection, then the severe stomach cramps started, followed by vomiting. I have not eaten a meal since Sunday evening. Today, the cramps have been the worst, and now the diarrhea has started. I work full time, and this is the worst drug ever. Anyone know how long it takes to leave your system?"
