Wegovy (semaglutide) "So far so good! Only on the 3rd day on it, but I'm loving it. On .25 mg dose to start. I'm female, 5'4, 215 lbs and I'm looking to drop about 40 lbs with it. Very mild stomach discomfort here and there but it's barely noticeable the vast majority of the time. When I first injected I felt that my heartbeat got quicker for a little bit but it subsided in an hour or 2. I don't crave junk food anymore. I feel like I'm always full and I have an increased desire for whole foods. I'm not going to increase my dose until I feel the beneficial effects subsiding, I'm taking it very slow to avoid side effects. Will check back in after a month or 2, I'm very optimistic! :)"

Wegovy (semaglutide) "I have lost 65 lbs in 10 months using Wegovy. I have had no side effects. I do want to know what to do when you hit a plateau. I would and have recommended this medication to my family and friends. I’m on the highest dose of 2.4. Taking injections is quick and easy."

Wegovy (semaglutide) "I was started on Wegovy because my metabolism came to a crashing halt. No matter how healthy I ate, I kept gaining and retaining water weight. I was 478 pounds when I started in April 2023 and have lost 85 pounds in 7 months. My goal is another 100 pounds, but I've noticed that the weight loss slows down on certain weeks and increases other weeks. I've been on 2.4 mg for about 5 months and haven't experienced many of the side effects that have been known to occur. The worst was the upset stomach and the body cleansing itself the first couple of weeks. I am now wearing clothes that I have not been able to fit into for almost 4 years. Wegovy may not be for everyone, but it has been a game changer for me!"

Ozempic (semaglutide) "Started taking this medication a year or so ago. I haven't had any side effects, only positive ones! I started it due to struggling with my weight even with working out constantly and also being prediabetic. I have a history of graves' disease and did an ablation on it with radioactive iodine so it's nonexistent now. For a while now I had a major problem with one-foot swelling with no help from any medicine. After taking Ozempic I saw a dramatic decrease almost immediately and it hasn't swollen up since starting Ozempic. I have also lost more than 50 lbs since starting. Truly thankful for this medication and its positive effects on my health."

Wegovy (semaglutide) "So far so good. I'm only on week 2 but am down 10 pounds with a combination of exercise and a 1200 cal/day diet. The symptoms I've had so far are: Tiredness Constipation Some hair is falling out (Dr will be checking my vitamin levels to make sure I don't need supplements with new diet). It definitely curbs my appetite which is huge with my diet essentially cut in half. I am looking forward to seeing sustained results."

Wegovy (semaglutide) "My goal at the start was to lose 2 stone. I started with the 0.25 dose on 20 December. Negligible side effects - very minor nausea, that's all. Already lost a stone between 20 December - 20 January. That is despite the Christmas season. On the first few days after injection, I almost can't look at food or wine, and really only eat to survive. Not at all possible to even contemplate drinking wine or beer. This wanes towards the 5th or 6th day after injection. I'm now on the 1.0 dose and will probably stay on this for a couple more months as I'm close to my end goal - can't believe how effective Wegovy has been. The challenge will be maintaining the weight loss after Wegovy, as I don't intend to be on this for the rest of my life. What's worked for me: I keep active and walk a few miles a few times a week, drink lots of water, aim to eat in small amounts throughout the day rather than two or three large meals, eat lots of vegetables and nuts rather than heavy meals."

Ozempic (semaglutide) "This drug affects everyone differently, but for me, the side effects were too bad, and I had to stop after 2 weeks. It totally worked by killing my appetite and making me feel full, and after the first week, there were days I didn't even want to eat at all. I lost about 8 pounds in two weeks, which is great. However, during the 2nd week, I got the worst upset stomach of my life and almost went to the ER. I had intense diarrhea for an entire day, along with nausea, the chills, a swollen stomach, and then sweating. I had to take a sick day from work because I was also dizzy, and my heart was racing. It finally subsided about a day and a half, but it scared me so badly that I stopped taking the drug. Now I understand why it has a black box warning. I'm happy for the people who can use this without bad side effects. For me, I have a young child and demanding job. I can't go around with symptoms of food poisoning and try to act like I’m ok."

Wegovy (semaglutide) "I had my second 0.25 shot 2 days ago. My appetite is definitely less and I am able to stay on my 1200 calorie lower carb diet without the hunger that haunted me before Wegovy. I also take a multivitamin once daily. I have lost about 7 lbs. I have been constipated but nowhere near the amount that opioids do. I do chart my food intake and sip fluids throughout the day. Exercise three days a week. So far so good."

Wegovy (semaglutide) "Started Wegovy in March 2022 with a goal of losing 50-75 pounds. I ended up losing a total of 85 pounds in about 11 months. I felt great upon taking the Wegovy. Only had mild headaches and mild stomach discomfort. I was not tired, actually felt energized. However, by December the nausea had reared its ugly head. I took Zofran and it helped. I was able to stick it out with the nausea until February at which time I stopped taking it. I could no longer live with the nausea. Since I stopped taking it, I have continued to suffer nausea, vomiting, and stomach pain. My doctor and I are still trying to find the source of this continuing issue. I love the weight loss and I love Wegovy!"

Wegovy (semaglutide) "I lost 75 lbs on Wegovy. It wasn't worth it. People assume I have all this energy now. I feel like a shell of my former self. Run down, no appetite...and just got back from the hospital, since I didn't have a bowel movement for almost 2 weeks once I was at the 2.4 dose. I can't recommend this drug. You will essentially give up your normal life to lose weight. To me, the benefits don't outweigh the risks."

Ozempic (semaglutide) "With just one 0.25 mg dose I became very ill. Relentless nausea, vomiting, and explosive diarrhea as well as unbearable stomach cramps. Needed to go to the ER for fluids and to check for pancreatitis. It’s now been 9 days since my first dose and I still have relentless diarrhea, nausea, and disabling fatigue. I don’t want to eat. I didn’t want to take it in the first place but was ambushed by my kidney doctor. She told me that using Ozempic was a no-brainer and that I would just have a bit of nausea. If you have any gastrointestinal symptoms when taking any medicine, I would think three times about it before using it. I have read it can take up to a month for it to be flushed out of your body but I am hoping and praying that these horrible side effects stop real soon."

Ozempic (semaglutide) "My first dose made me sick as a dog 2 days after the injection. Nausea, felt like I could vomit, and kept swallowing over and over again. Cold chills, it was awful! I do not plan to continue. No pain, no gain. I’ll get my loss the old-fashioned way with proper diet and exercise. Never again want to feel this way on Ozempic."

I have noticed that I am not as hungry and do feel fuller with less food intake. I will continue with this and hopefully get to the weight I want to be."

Ozempic (semaglutide) "After 1 year of taking this, I began suffering from severe abdominal pain. A couple of months later, while watching TV, I heard an Ozempic commercial that included warnings about gallbladder problems and pancreatitis. I immediately stopped using it and went to my doctor. I had to have my gallbladder removed. I gained the 50 pounds back that I had lost the previous year. Although it was effective, it was not worth the side effects."

Wegovy (semaglutide) "I love it! Wegovy did what I needed it to do, it calmed my appetite. I had zero side effects. I lost twenty pounds in one month. I only have one problem, I can no longer get Wegovy in my needed dosage of 0.25 mg. I will patiently wait for the manufacture of Wegovy to catch up to the demand for their product because it works that well for me. Thank you for creating a product that has worked as advertised."

Ozempic (semaglutide) "I am just completed my first 2 weeks. I want to lose 35-40 pounds. In the past year, I have gained a pound a month and have been steadily gaining weight every year for the past 7 years. Have previously tried weight watchers, increased activity, and calorie watching, and the only time I lost any weight was on less than 1300 calories a day. The first week I lost 3.5 pounds, more weight than I had lost in the past 5 years even with calorie restricting. I inject in alternating thighs on Friday nights, just in case I have symptoms I can recover without work demands. I have always been gassy so cannot comment if there is a difference in the amount. I am noticing increased chest tenderness and muscle spasms. Restless legs are a thing! Taking magnesium once or twice a week also helps with moderate constipation. Reduced appetite, reduced sugar craving but no impact on munchies. Makes easier to choose healthier choices. Overall happy with almost 5-pound weight loss in 2 weeks. Minimal side effects and well worth it."

Wegovy (semaglutide) "I started Wegovy Jan. 2022. I didn’t feel much effect for two months, although I lost a few pounds. Starting the third month it kicked in. The weight loss isn’t fast, about 4 to 6 lbs a month, which I feel is healthy. I’ve lost 27 pounds. Like others, I had some queasiness especially in the first few months, but it was quickly resolved with Zofran and has mostly disappeared. I now feel full after smaller portions than before and notice I eat about half as much as previously and feel perfectly satisfied. I’ve read that you tend to gain weight back if you go off the drug and that many doctors feel you should be on it forever, as with other chronic conditions. I hope that’s not the case, as I don’t like the idea of being on any drug forever. In fact I’m hoping I can also go off blood pressure meds eventually. My goal is to lose another 30 lbs which now feels entirely do-able. My excellent insurance covers it at $25 a month."

Wegovy (semaglutide) "I’ve been using Wegovy for 12 weeks. I’m up to .50 and staying here. Tried 1.0 and it was too strong. Felt nauseous and experienced painful stomach cramps with 1.0. I have reached my goal weigh. I lost 35 pounds and I’m very happy with the process and results. The only negative is, I’m on thyroid medication and noticed hot flashes and heart palpitations I didn’t experience before. I had my levels checked and they are way off! Consulting with my doctor. Not sure if I’ll continue Wegovy."

Wegovy (semaglutide) "I'm in my 9 th week, now at 1mg. I learned very quickly to eat small portions, and slowly, because I would feel way too full if I tried eating as much as I used to. I tried a couple weeks ago to eat a whole Popeye's chicken sandwich for lunch. I felt nauseous all day afterwards. Half a sandwich is enough. I'm down 10%+ of my weight already. It is very easy. I am just not hungry. The hard part is changing how much to put on my plate. Now that I'm used to taking less, I'm totally fine and don't even think about hunger, cravings, anything. Wow. So happy."

Wegovy (semaglutide) "Wegovy has agonizing side effects. I had to quit after 2 months. Constant uncontrollable vomiting, I vomited at work, and while driving (which was horrific and dangerous). I essentially became bulimic, and afraid to eat. I lost 20 pounds but put half of it back right away. Not worth the agony."

Wegovy (semaglutide) "Started taking Wegovy. First month, 0.25 dose. After injection, started with nausea and vomiting. As the week went on, it eased. 2nd and 3rd week were pretty much the same. 4th week had 2 days where I was really ill - vomiting, diarrhea, pains in the tummy. Finally, it went away. In the first 4 weeks, I lost 16lbs. Now on my first week of 0.50 dose, took the first dose of 0.50 as usual. The day after the injection, I got some sickness (vomiting), though it stopped pretty quickly. I guess my body is starting to adjust. It's not an easy journey, but the food I can eat is a lot less - smaller meals, high protein. The tiredness I find difficult. I would say, take supplements like B12 and a multivitamin, and drink plenty of water. This is by no means a quick or easy fix. Some days, it's hard, especially if you get the nausea, vomiting, and tiredness. But the weight loss is steady, so for now, my journey continues. It greatly reduces your appetite and the amount of food, but be warned, if you overeat, there are some nasty side effects."

Wegovy (semaglutide) "Wegovy is working great! Very important to hydrate and have a lot of fiber. Also, control your portion size; you cannot eat large portions. I'm following a strict 1300 calorie lifestyle change. From June 17, 2023, to present (Sept 19, 2023), I've lost 30 lbs. The injections are simple and virtually painless. I'm currently on 1.7 and I have little to no side effects. I inject every Saturday night before I go to sleep. I read that taking medication before bed reduces nausea and for me, it has worked. The only side effect is that I have absolutely NO desire to drink alcohol. The best side effect ever! I've already stopped taking blood pressure medication, cholesterol medication has been reduced to the lowest dose, and my A1C is out of the pre-diabetic range and within normal limits, and I'm only halfway to my weight loss goal. All medication has been stopped or reduced by my physician after blood work. Very happy!"

"This is an update on my success journey. The semaglutide is such a wonderful rx for weight loss. My starting weight is 261 lbs. I started taking semaglutide 0.10 syringe injection dosage for 4 weeks, Monday, 03/11/24 - 04/01/24. The total weight loss is 7 lbs to 254 lbs in the 1st 4-week period with no side effects that are listed. Monday, 04/08/24 - 04/29/24 semaglutide 0.20 syringe injection dosage for 4 weeks. Weight loss 5 lbs to 249 lbs for the 2nd 4-week period. I experienced mild nausea the next day after taking the shot. The nausea stopped within an hour after waking up that morning. I will start the semaglutide 0.40 syringe injection on Monday, 05/06/24. I recommend this semaglutide for anyone who has struggled to lose weight. It has worked for me without any exercise. I will be giving an update 4 weeks from this date."

Ozempic (semaglutide) "I have been taking Ozempic for 9 months. I am 74 years old, and a workaholic. I simply do not have time to exercise. I am at my computer working between 18 and 20 hours x 7 x 365. This will not change - ever. I got up to 274 lbs. I weigh once weekly. Today I weighed 191 lbs., or a loss of 83 lbs. over the duration - or about 30% of my body weight. Some slight dizziness from time to time which has diminished considerably after the 2nd month. Bad diarrhea for 72 hours after each injection until I discovered this medication does not like fat/grease/fried food of any type - then, some manageable diarrhea thereafter. Dosage .5 mg. Extraordinarily easy to use."
