For Dry Eye Disease "I had LASIK about 4 years ago, and it left my eyes pretty dry. When they’re super dry, I notice my vision seems worse, so per my eye doctor, I use drops daily. I recently bought this Systane Gel, and I do NOT like it. The drops don’t feel as thick as Blink gel, but it leaves a film that doesn’t clear up, so it makes my vision worse. It takes almost 45 mins for my vision to get clear, which is unacceptable. Most of it seems to come right out and sit on my lashes. This was an expensive bottle, and I am pretty upset I wasted my money, I can’t use this anymore."

For Dry Eye Disease "Love Ultra for my eyes, but tried Hydrate one. Both obscenely expensive, but they need to fire the people who thought that the new dropper style works. OMG, the most ineffective, stupid, waste-producing mode I have ever experienced."

For Dry Eye Disease "After brief use for occasional dry eyes, I had extremely bad side effects. Tissue around my eyes red, swollen, itchy, burns. No relief since August. Working with doctors. It’s the preservative in this product. Shame on FDA approval for a bad preservative."

"I am so sorry to see so many negative reviews. I’ve been using this product for 15 years on the advice of my ophthalmologist, and it changed my life. I guess I did notice the change in packaging, but not to the detriment of my eye comfort. Since my diagnosis is not clinical dry eye, I feel very lucky and hope they never stop making it."

For Dry Eye Disease "My doctor recommended these drops to cure my dry eyes. After about 5 or 6 hours (3 p.m. - 9 p.m.), I noticed a blood clot in my right eye, my dominant eye. I experienced blurred vision, also. I admit I put more than the two drops (maybe 3 or 4) per directions. But I've done the same with other eye drops as well and had no adverse side effects. I cannot recommend this brand to anyone, use with caution if you must!"

For Dry Eye Disease "I started using Systane for dry eyes about 6 weeks ago. The last two weeks, I have not been using them as religiously, but 4/5 weeks ago, I started noticing a difference in vision in my right eye. Especially when light hits my eye when watching TV, etc. I have blurred vision in my right eye and cloudy streaks appearing. I am shocked and only connected the dots right now after looking at reviews online. I am really angry that these drops were prescribed. If any optometrist actually did some Googling, they would know these drops are dangerous to prescribe to their patients."

For Dry Eye Disease "I used Systane Complete after my cataract surgery, and it burned the inside of my nose and gave me symptoms of hay fever with lots of sneezing. Horrible product and should be taken off the market. I suspect that it's the preservative in Systane that is the culprit."

For Dry Eye Disease "I don't have a problem with the eye drops, they work fine for me. My problem is the bottle: after I use it only a few times, the liquid will not come out anymore. I shake it and hear it, so there's still a full bottle, it just will not come out. I throw the bottle away and open a new one. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. It's a waste of my money to keep buying, but I really like the Systane. I don't want to start another brand, so what do I do?"
