Oasis Tears Plus is used in adults to relieve burning, irritation, and discomfort caused by dry eyes.

You should not use an Oasis Tears Plus to treat or prevent an eye infection.

Before taking this medicine

You should not use an Oasis Tears Plus if you are allergic to it. This medicine will not treat or prevent an eye infection.

Ask a doctor or pharmacist if it is safe for you to use Oasis Tears Plus if you have any type of infection in your eye.

Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

How should I use Oasis Tears Plus?

Follow all directions on your prescription label and read all medication guides or instruction sheets. Use the medicine exactly as directed.

Wash your hands before using Oasis Tears Plus.

Do not use Oasis Tears Plus and call your pharmacist if the medicine looks cloudy or has changed color.

Do not touch the tip of the eye dropper or ointment tube or place it directly on your eye. A contaminated tip can infect your eye, which could lead to serious vision problems.

Call your doctor if your symptoms do not improve, or if they get worse while using Oasis Tears Plus.

Store at room temperature away from moisture and heat.

What happens if I miss a dose?

Oasis Tears Plus is used when needed. If you are on a dosing schedule, skip any missed dose. Do not use two doses at one time.

What happens if I overdose?

An overdose of ocular lubricant is not expected to be dangerous. Seek emergency medical attention or call the Poison Help line at 1-800-222-1222 if anyone has accidentally swallowed the medication.

What should I avoid while using Oasis Tears Plus?

Oasis Tears Plus may cause blurred vision. Avoid driving or hazardous activity until you know how this medicine will affect you.

Do not use other eye medications unless your doctor tells you to.

What other drugs will affect Oasis Tears Plus?

Medicine used in the eyes is not likely to be affected by other drugs you use. But many drugs can interact. Tell your doctor about all your current medicines, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal products.
