For Abortion "I took this pill at approx. 4/5 weeks pregnant. I took the first pill at the clinic Friday @ 2:30. I didn’t have any symptoms other than slight cramps & tiredness. I took the second pill Sunday @ 9:30 AM. 30 mins later, I was on the toilet throwing up with diarrhea at the same time. My cramps were very intense. I usually get bad PMS, so I thought I’d be fine, but definitely a lot stronger, so I would definitely recommend a strong pain reliever (I took naproxen) & definitely something for nausea, which I did not do. Pain lasted for maybe an hour, then eased up & I was able to sleep. I was fine by 3 pm. Also, do not read the reviews before taking because everyone is different. Doing that made me cry, I was so scared, but you’ll be fine!"

For Abortion "So a pretty messed up situation led to this pregnancy, so I was not ready to be a mom quite yet. I took the first one in office like everyone else and took the other four the next day around 7 pm. Less than an hour later, I felt cramping. Around 9 pm is when the pain got EXCRUCIATING! I mean, the pain was so bad I begged God for forgiveness and then begged Him to just take me all together! I eventually threw up. I was dizzy and I could barely move but couldn’t sit still at the same time! By 11 pm, I passed my first med-sized clot and the pain died down. Then it started up again by 11:30. Again, I was shaking, crying, if I had been alone, I would have been screaming. I finally passed a bunch more bigger clots around 12 midnight and the pain died down for good. After that, I had minimal cramping, dizziness, and instead of diarrhea like a lot of people, I had a lot of gas that made my stomach hurt. I’ll just do the operation next time. The drug is super effective, but the pain is really not worth it."

For Abortion "I was super scared to take them at first, and I read some of these reviews, and it really helped, so I’m here to share mine. I took 4 orally and dissolved them and then swallowed. Immediately, I felt my throat very sore and cheeks as well. Cramps started right away, and after 24 hours, I didn’t bleed at all. I waited another day, and my doctor recommended I retry it vaginally. I did that, and I had the same cramps, but this time I bled a little, but it was mostly brown. After a day, I could tell it was definitely successful-no more nausea, no more tender breasts. Unfortunately, after another day, I developed pelvic inflammatory disease, which was super painful but easily treatable with antibiotics super quickly. So, word of advice: just be careful when you take them vaginally because infection is a high risk."

For Abortion "I promised myself I’ll leave a review because I drowned myself in these reviews days before taking mine. And right now it’s just the next day after my 4 pills. I was only 2-3 weeks pregnant. I focused heavily on positive reviews because I wanted that experience so bad, but unfortunately it was not the case for me. I saw a comment about the pain level being similar to how you experience your period. If you usually have painful cramps, it will hurt like a b*tch, otherwise, it would be easier. I’m thinking there might be some truth to that. I typically take diclofenac for my period cramps, and that’s the best option I had for this too. For some reason, it made no difference. After I took the first pill, I had mild cramps and a little nausea, just the regular symptoms I was having before anyways. I took anti-nausea and diclofenac 50mg before taking the first pill because I didn’t want to take any chances. I put on a pad, but I didn’t bleed."

For Abortion "I was less than 5 weeks along and decided to take the medical approach since I would be alone (which they don’t advise, so please avoid that). I must say that because I had no one to turn to, these reviews (the good ones) truly saved me. I, like everyone else, was anxious and panicked about this as it is my first time and I was nervous. But please, ladies, don’t panic. This was nothing more than usual period cramps, just a tiny bit more intense for the time the pregnancy passes. I took the nausea pills, two ibuprofen, and two Tylenol 30 mins before taking the actual dosage. Then, the 4 pills in my cheeks at 4 pm, and by 7, the pregnancy had passed. All I have left are the residual cramps and bleeding, which I can expect for some time. But truly, ladies, do not worry. You can get through this!"

For Cervical Ripening "Unfortunately, I was one of the people with extreme side effects. I do not usually experience much cramping or discomfort when I get my period, but I have had mild cramps before. The cramping I had with this pill was nearly unbearable. I inserted one pill vaginally just before bed, as I was instructed to do for my IUD insertion the next day. I woke up an hour after falling asleep with EXTREME abdominal pain, nausea, and chills so bad I ended up laying in bed with two fleece blankets, a sweater, and my regular comforter. I did bleed as well, mildly at first, but then clotting, and then back to mild. It has now been approximately 12 hours, and although I am still experiencing pain and cramping, it's much more akin to 'regular' period cramps at this point. I was supposed to insert a second pill the morning of the procedure, but called my gyno, and they advised me not to do so. This pill seems so incredibly unnecessary for an IUD insertion."

For Abortion "I took the mifepristone Thursday around 7:30 pm. I didn’t feel any cramps, and I didn’t have any bleeding at all. Just felt a little nauseous later on through the night. Friday, I took 800 mg of ibuprofen at 7:45 pm and then the 4 misoprostol at 8:30 pm. An hour or two after taking it, I again felt nauseous. I woke up at about 2 am and was bleeding and had slight cramps. I woke up again around 4 am, and the cramps honestly felt like intense menstrual cramps to me, not like contractions. Sat on the toilet, and the blood was flowing, and I passed some clots. I went back to sleep, and when I woke back up around 8 am, I knew my pad was completely full. As soon as I sat on the toilet, a big clot came out. I took a shower, and to be honest, I didn’t feel as tired and sleepy as I normally had been for weeks, just had cramps and could feel the clots passing. The only time I felt like I really needed to sit down was that morning when I was making breakfast and cleaning. I started feeling really tired and weak."

For Abortion "I was 7 weeks pregnant. So I decided to go for a medical abortion. First, I was so scared of these medicines. There are two sets of medicine. The first medicine is mifepristone, and the second is misoprostol. The first medicine is so strong. It gave me nausea, vomiting, and tiredness. I was not able to get up for 24 hours. As every case is different, I found the second set of medicine more helpful. They gave me no problems, no side effects. After taking the second set of medicine, within 20 minutes I started bleeding. I got pregnancy tissue out."

For Abortion "Most painful thing I've ever experienced. I read the reviews saying it wasn't that bad, so I felt okay to take it. I was 5-6 weeks pregnant when I took the cervix softener, and 30 hours later I took 1 anti-nausea, 2 Panadol, and 2 ibuprofen, then an hour later dissolved 4 misoprostol in my gums. After 30 minutes, I got bad period cramps, which steadily increased to the most extreme pain I have ever felt, and I normally have painful periods. I vomited a few times, had diarrhea, the pain was so extreme I thought I was going to die - my body couldn't handle it. I had to lie down in the shower, where I passed out for over an hour and couldn't move, codeine didn't help. I got 20 minutes of extreme chest pain a few hours in. I bled but with no clots, which led to a trip to the ED where I found out the pills had not expelled the pregnancy, and a week later I got a surgical abortion. Overall, worst experience, wouldn't wish it on anyone. I wish I knew it wouldn't work for me, so I could've had the surgery instead."

For Cervical Ripening "I was prescribed this for an IUD insertion. I took the medication as directed the night before the procedure (inserting it). An hour later, I was nauseous and had a stomach ache, which led to the entire night spent in the bathroom throwing up and with diarrhea. I also experienced extreme cramping, my husband was going to drive me to the hospital as the cramping was so bad. I didn't end up going as I was so nauseous and couldn't even get dressed. I had to reschedule my procedure to a later date. I have never been this sick in my whole life, I am a healthy 40-year-old."

For Abortion "7 weeks pregnant. Before abortion, I had awful morning sickness. I took the first pill at the hospital. Side effects: nausea, cramping, and starting to bleed. At home, 36 hours later, I took codeine before inserting 4 misoprostol vaginally. I lay in bed for ½ hour before extreme cramping started. I also took ibuprofen. I sat on the toilet and then ended up throwing up on the toilet. Hot/cold and shaky in agony, I sat on the bathroom floor feeling faint. 1 hour later, I got moving a little which helped get things going. Sitting upright on the couch, I felt a pop and gush. The extreme pain was immediately bearable. I went to the toilet and there was the pregnancy tissue and a small blood clot on the pad. I went to sleep, woke up to go to the toilet, and huge clots came out in the toilet. After that, it’s just been heavy bleeding. Went through a packet of maxi pads. Within 3 hours, pain was over and I felt better. Totally worth the 1.5 hours of agony for the relief I feel now."

For Abortion "I was terrified to take this medication, mostly because of the unknown. I decided to share my experience in hopes that it'll help someone else through. I was around 7 weeks. I took the 1st pill at the doctor's office around 1:45 pm. I took the other 4 vaginally at 12:45 am. 30 minutes prior, I took Tylenol and ibuprofen 800. Approximately 30 minutes after insertion, I started to have mild cramping and a little nausea. About an hour in, the cramps got a little more intense, like heavy period cramps. Around 2:48 am, I got up to use the bathroom and began to vomit and had mild diarrhea, and there was one little blood clot. I dozed off and got up around 4 am to use the bathroom, and at this time, I expelled 4 large clots (which I believe were the pregnancy), still with heavy period-like cramps. At around 4:48 am, I got up to use the bathroom again, and at this time, I passed another large-sized clot and had some more mild diarrhea. Finally, around 9:30 am, the cramps began to subside."

For Abortion "I was 7 weeks and 1 day. First, I took the mifepristone in the office and got a little nauseated, but that’s all. The doctor then told me to insert 8 misoprostol vaginally by the time I went to bed that evening. I ate, and I took Tylenol with codeine 30 minutes before I inserted them. An hour went by, and I was in pain, but definitely tolerable, but it intensified along with shivering really bad, so I got in the bath. I then threw up all the food I ate, but felt tons better, but was still shivering and started to bleed. I finally went to lay down, and my boyfriend got me a heating pad and helped me a lot. I fell asleep due to medication, then woke up an hour later with pretty bad cramping. Passed some clots and tissue and felt much better. It’ll be okay, ladies, promise."

For Abortion "I was about 5-6 weeks pregnant, and it was just not the right time for us to have a child. On Thursday, I took the first pill at the clinic, and Friday night I started to bleed very lightly. On Saturday morning, I took the Tylenol and the anti-nausea pills 30 minutes before the second pill, about 10 a.m. At 10:50 a.m., I started not feeling well and went to get up to go to the bathroom. The second I got up, I was in agonizing pain! I then spent the next hour and a half in the bathroom with diarrhea and extreme pain that had me howling. Tylenol with codeine did not help. I ended up throwing up a few times from the pain. I tried to get up to go lay down in the bed and couldn’t even stand up straight, and the cramps came every minute to minute in agony. This continued until about 1 p.m. when I had a painful contraction and felt oozing come out. Now it’s 1:22 p.m., and I don’t have the excruciating pain and just feel as if I have a normal period. Hope to never go through this again."

For Abortion "I used 4 pills vaginally yesterday for a missed miscarriage. I’ll be honest this was one of the most painful experiences I’ve been through. The cramping was severe. I also had diarrhea and was nauseous. The whole painful process lasted 4 hours. I’m giving it a high rating because the process worked. I was about 7.5 weeks when I miscarried, so I passed some pretty large clots. Once you pass the majority of the uterine lining, the pain goes away. I would recommend taking 800 milligrams of ibuprofen 2 hours before you start the medication and then another 800 once the pain starts to kick in. I took Tylenol, and I completely regret that, it did absolutely nothing for the pain."

For Abortion "I took my first pill at 6:08 pm, got nothing by the next day at the same time. It was time to take the 4 pills in my cheek. I teared up since I read all of these horror stories. After 30 mins, I swallowed them. I laid in bed with a pad on. After 3 hours, I fell asleep. I woke up an hour later in a pool of blood. I then spent most of my night on the toilet since the bleeding was so heavy. At 3 am, I thought it was done, so I again put on a pad and went to bed exhausted. At 4 am, I woke up in blood again, then sat on the toilet again and got clots this time. All the bleeding did not lighten until about 6 am, so it was a long process, but at no point was there any really painful cramps, just your regular period cramping. My breasts are still tender, but my nausea is gone. This is the following day, and bleeding is very light or even just spotting most of the day. Overall, it is an annoyingly long process, but it worked. I was told not to look in the toilet before flushing."

For Cervical Ripening "Painful! Inserted four pills, within half an hour, shaking, cramps, nauseated, gas, etc. Got all four out, partially dissolved, and am still in pain two hours later. Will try to go to the appointment, but this was terrible. Seems some react fine while many others have terrible adverse reactions. Being in the latter camp, I strongly advise you to listen to your body as soon as you insert. I tried for an hour to tough it out. Now wish I had removed immediately."

For Abortion "I am a college student, and when I found out I was pregnant, I instantly knew I wasn’t ready for that, so the decision was pretty clear for me. I went to the doctor and was told I was 6 weeks 3 days. I was given the first pill by the doctor and took it there, and then went home and took one nausea pill and one Tylenol with codeine. 30 minutes later, I inserted the 4 misoprostol pills into my vagina and waited. About two hours later, cramping started but I hadn’t started bleeding yet. An hour or so after that, the pain became unbearable (and I have a very high pain tolerance), so I sat on the toilet while clots came out and then took a steaming hot bath. I was rocking back and forth, taking deep breaths. I took another Tylenol and then went to sleep. I woke up this morning and had bled through my maxi pad, but no cramps anymore, and pregnancy symptoms have started to go away! Worked well, but for me, the pain was definitely 10 times worse than “bad period cramps.”"

For Abortion "Was reading these after I took the second pill and thinking how lucky I was to not be feeling any pain other than light cramping, but oh boy, was I wrong!! 2 hours after, I was in the most excruciating pain I’ve ever felt. I have endometriosis, so I thought it couldn’t get any worse, but let me tell you, it got 10 times worse. I was crying and howling like crazy in bed, then it would stop for a few minutes and the pain would be back! Went to the bathroom to pee out the blood, I thought, only to feel really hot and faint on the bathroom floor from all the pain and blood I had lost! After waking up on the floor, I crawled back to bed and lay there dizzy and feeling nauseous and like I was about to pass out again! This pain continued for the rest of the 4 hours, therefore, I only lost my tissue in the 6th hour, so I went through the entire pain process time!! 10/10 for pain! Would not wish this on anyone."

For Abortion "I’m leaving this review because prior to my abortion, I sat here scaring myself for several days for nothing. I got my pills online because any Planned Parenthood or clinics in my area wanted $600 with financial aid. Aid access allows you to pay whatever you can, in my case $35. I took the first pill and I was nauseous with a little bit of a backache but okay. I could do whatever I needed to do. Took the second 4 pills 24 hours later. I did it at night over the weekend in case it was bad like some of these wild reviews. Within an hour or so of taking the second medication, I started bleeding and passing a few little clots but nothing major, and my pain was hardly any. I took 600 mg of ibuprofen about an hour before, but that is it. I was comfortable enough to fall asleep. I filled up my pad throughout the night and got up the next morning and passed one or two more little clots with some blood in the toilet the next morning. I was between 6-7 weeks."

For Cervical Ripening "Was prescribed 4 to insert 6 hours prior to biopsy. So much pain. Tried to get them out an hour later but left one in. By the time I got to the gyn, I was barely able to walk, shaking, nauseated, cramps worse than anything I've ever experienced, etc. Gyn still couldn't get through my cervix and prescribed a narcotic to address the pain because it was that bad. Stay away if you're sensitive."

"I was 6 weeks when I took the first pill at the clinic with my nurse. I had only some nausea, which wasn’t terrible, and I also began bleeding with the first pill. About 45 hours later, I took the four pills in my cheeks. About ten mins in, while still dissolving, I felt like my stomach was squeezing together but no pain. Then pain began to build 20 mins in and intensified to about 30 mins in, and they were really, really bad-about 9/10 for me. I have really painful, heavy periods, and this was way worse. I had hot flashes and chills during this time. It only lasted about 15 mins, then it got better! I passed some clots about 5 mins after the pain got better and the baby sac, but no lemon-sized clots, only golf ball size with no pain. After, I threw up a bit from nausea and felt just exhausted, and I had a fever. I slept 12 hours, and it’s the next day, and it just feels like a normal period. I know everyone is different, but just know that you can handle this and you can do it!"

For Abortion "So I just got done with the whole experience, and I had read the reviews while I was dissolving the 4 pills in my mouth, and not even 20 minutes later, I started feeling the cramps. I took my nausea pill and ibuprofen 30 minutes before I started dissolving, and that didn’t kick in until like 45 minutes afterward, and I finally got some rest. When I woke up, the cramps were intense, and I couldn’t take another pain pill until 30 minutes before it was time for my next dose of misoprostol... so I was suffering. I had diarrhea, and I was literally shaking because of the amount of pain I was in, my legs were shaking and everything. When I took my second dose after the ibuprofen kicked in, I got rest until I felt a big gush in my pants, like my water had broken. It did that twice, I could barely move, and when I went to the toilet, there was tissue along with blood clots. I took a shower, it’s now almost 6 am, and I’m still having mild cramps, but they are bearable."

For Abortion "So I got my pills through the mail and received them Monday. I decided that I would take the medication at 7 pm. I took the first pill and nothing happened, although I did vomit about 4 hours later. I also forgot to mention I was around 6 weeks pregnant. The next day, Tuesday, I put all four pills in my cheeks and let them dissolve. FYI, they don’t taste like anything, the texture just gets weird but nothing to make you gag (lol). After 30 mins, I swished my mouth around and swallowed the rest. Maybe about an hour later, I passed 3 clots and had heavy bleeding. Around 3 am, I had really bad cramping to the point I was rocking in pain. I took 800mg of ibuprofen and was okay an hour later. Today, Wednesday, I’m barely bleeding, no blood in the toilet but when I wipe and I no longer have any symptoms of nausea that I have had for the past week. I hope this helps!"
