Mirabegron for Urinary Frequency "I took Myrbetriq for 3 weeks and ended up in the ER on July 12th, 2021 with a heart rate of 148. I spent 2 days in the hospital. I experienced shortness of breath, dizziness, sweating, and stomach pains. All my cardio exams, blood work, and scans were negative. I am currently wearing a heart monitor. I did not have any health issues before taking this drug. Please be careful taking this medicine."

Mirabegron for Urinary Frequency "I have taken this drug for 8 months. I was surprised that it worked right away because I had tried many other things like Ditropan, Uripaz, etc., that did not work. However, the longer I have taken it, the worse I feel from side effects. My hair started to fall out early on, but I didn’t connect it with Myrbetriq until I read these reviews. Slowly, it started to stop working as well. I had a UTI, and now I have a pounding headache, my ears buzz, I am so dizzy I am afraid to take a shower, my nose runs steadily, my eyes burn. I can’t concentrate, maybe because I feel as if my head will explode. I see my doctor tomorrow. Hopefully, she will come up with a good alternative, and I won’t have withdrawal from this med. I would rate it 7/10 for symptom relief but overall 0/10 because of the severe side effects, including palpitations, muscle cramps, itchy skin, skin so dry it flakes off, as well as the other things I mentioned."

Mirabegron for Urinary Frequency "After a number of infections and painful cramps throughout the month, an excellent PA decided to give me a load of antibiotics followed by a month of treatment with Myrbetriq. Feeling much better, still have some cramps, but the bladder pain I was having before is gone, so it worked for me. The side effects, however, are horrible. I’m 15 days into the treatment, I’ve developed insomnia, hair loss, severe indigestion, bad stomach cramps after meals, diarrhea, lightheadedness, joint pain, dizziness, and always feeling sleepy during the day. I reached out to my PA, still waiting to hear back from them, but after reading some of the comments, I don’t think the side effects will get any better, so I will stop it for now."

Mirabegron for Urinary Frequency "Myrbetriq worked almost immediately for me for my recently diagnosed interstitial cystitis, and the doctor asked me if I also had frequency. I did at the time, which is why he prescribed Myrbetriq. Very soon, I began to have severe aches in my bladder and all kinds of pain in that region. It was often worse at night. Also, I just generally felt unwell, not myself at all, and could not sleep. I think my hair has also thinned. My sight became blurred at times. I had dizziness, sometimes felt nauseous. I also felt sad and upset. After five months, I stopped taking it. It has taken several weeks for the above effects to go away, but they now almost have."

Mirabegron for Urinary Frequency "I gave Myrbetriq a 2 because it did work on my overactive bladder. But the side effects were horrible. I had dizziness, fatigue, and didn’t want to get out of bed. I also had bad stomach pain and nausea. I stopped taking it after seven days and felt so much better. I started exercises to help with my overactive bladder instead of medication. I will never take this again."

Mirabegron for Urinary Frequency "Took this medication at 50 mg. Within 3 days, lost consciousness, had to go to the ER by squad, and had horrible positional vertigo resulting in uncontrollable vomiting. No reason for this episode found after CT scan, EEG, and blood work. Drug interaction? I'm still a little dizzy 2 days later. Don't know if the episode was related to the drug, but I'm not taking it. Untested, too many potential drug interactions."

Mirabegron for Urinary Frequency "Myrbetriq 25 mg for my interstitial cystitis made my symptoms worse. I started on a Friday, had some mild side effects such as dizziness, stomach pain, heartburn, racing heart, and headache. They increased in intensity, I was physically exhausted for no reason, and I was peeing close to 50 times a day, more than double. I contacted my Dr. and left a message, but stupidly continued taking the meds for 3 more days, thinking side effects would go away. They got worse. At that point, the bladder pain and pain when peeing was so excruciating, I thought I was going to die. I took AZO Bladder Pain Relief, which helped with the pain since my Dr. never called back. A week later, I'm back to where I started with my IC, and my Dr. has still not called."

Mirabegron for Urinary Frequency "I have multiple sclerosis. This medication caused me dizziness, worsened balance, and significantly increased tremor while affording very little relief of urinary symptoms. I have taken the samples for ten days and still need the bathroom every two to three hours with urgency. Will discontinue now. Not worth it."

Mirabegron for Urinary Incontinence "After years of a soggy, smelly life, I had given up. (I am 75.) I underwent bladder tightening surgery about 5 years ago, and it really helped -- for about 4 years. Then, the disgusting world of adult diapers came back. My doctor prescribed Myrbetriq, and it worked almost immediately, absolute heaven!! However, as soon as the smells, pads, and diapers left, Parkinson's moved in, and with a vengeance. So, must I make a decision? Which disease is the least horrible: shaking, jerking, balance problems, and all that accompany Parkinson's -- or incontinence and all the embarrassment that condition brings? Which life is the least miserable? With Myrbetriq, I can sleep through the night, watch a movie straight through, and actually wear grown-up clothes -- but shake, jerk, and walk like a drunk. Which devil should I choose?"

Mirabegron for Urinary Incontinence "I only used Myrbetriq three times and quit because of side effects. Some dizziness the first two days, but after the third dose, I woke at 3 am feeling very dizzy and nauseous. After a few hours, the nausea went away, but the dizziness persisted and was so bad I could not get out of bed at all. This was yesterday; today I am much better and will look at other treatments."

For Urinary Frequency "I was on this medication just over 5 weeks and then stopped because the side effects were growing progressively stronger: fatigue, dizziness, nausea, cold-like symptoms, dry mouth, elevated blood pressure, trouble sleeping at night. What prompted me to stop was fainting in the morning. It has been 5 days without taking the medication, and I am still experiencing these side effects, it is starting to get better, although not in a linear manner. Some days are better than others."

For Urinary Frequency "This drug almost killed me. After taking 4 pills in four days, I almost lost my life. Though it helped my frequent urination, I was having dizziness and serious chest pain. Can't breathe and can't sleep at night. After a week of discontinuation, I still feel very awful. Please be warned, this medication is not for everyone."

Mirabegron for Urinary Frequency "I'm a 43-year-old female. Took Myrbetriq 50 mg for 2 weeks only and had to stop it. My urologist had given me 4 free weeks to try it. He is still trying to figure out why I'm unable to empty my bladder fully, and he thinks my sensation of bladder fullness is a symptom of OAB. So, he prescribed Myrbetriq. Since day one, the med eliminated the sensation of my bladder being full all the time, which reduced the number of times I felt I needed to go to the restroom to pee considerably. However, I started developing terrible side effects that I did not have before: headache, abdominal pain at night that did not allow me to sleep, constipation, back pain, dizziness. This medicine is expensive, and my insurance does not cover it. Due to the terrible side effects and given the uncertainty that this medicine is what I need to help me void better, I decided to discontinue this med and wait for my doctor to prescribe something different for me."

For Urinary Frequency "Was taking Solifenacin, which stopped working. Doc changed me to mirabegron. Made me feel quite ill with dizziness and nausea. Made my BP fluctuate all over the place. Tried it in combination therapy with Solifenacin, and it worked too well, ended up finding it very difficult to pee and got a UTI. Took it for approx 8 weeks, but the side effects were too bad."

For Urinary Frequency "Having Betminga work well, but first side effects: bad constipation, hair loss, noisy intestines, dizziness. I am seeing a cardiologist and a cardiovascular specialist because of dizziness and blackout. The pharmaceutical company hides these side effects. Luckily, I found forums where I learned about the drug. Next step, stop the drug."

Mirabegron for Urinary Incontinence "I had the worst experience with Myrbetriq 50 mg medicine. I felt wobbly and almost fell down. I walked for a while, somebody had to bring me home. Very disappointed."

Mirabegron for Urinary Incontinence "48-year-old female with bladder incontinence issues. I took Myrbetriq for around 6 months. During this time, I became sicker and sicker. Headaches, dizziness, muscle aches, fatigue, back pain, heart palpitations, even an emergency room visit, never once making the connection to this drug. I stopped wanting to go to the gym or leave home. I felt so bad. I scheduled a doctor's appointment assuming I probably had some horrible disease. However, when Myrbetriq suddenly stopped helping for the bladder issues, I researched the medicine. My word, I immediately stopped taking Myrbetriq. Within less than a week, I saw an improvement in my overall health. At times in the past, I would laugh at commercials with the long list of 'possible side effects' for certain drugs. I thought it was just a legality. My goodness, these side effects are real and they're horrible. I had rather deal with running to the bathroom all day, every day."
