Mirabegron for Urinary Incontinence "I have been feeling very bad for the last 3 weeks. I even went to the ER. I have had high BP, constant headache, shortness of breath, chest pains, rapid heartbeat, and buzzing in my ears. It has not helped my bladder issues. Worst of all, none of the doctors I have seen figured that out. Even after asking what all my medications are. When they kept telling me all was well, except for mildly high BP. So, each time I left feeling like I was going crazy or a hypochondriac. Then I started thinking, what drug have I started taking most recently. I looked it up and surprise... there were all my symptoms. Well, I have stopped taking this drug and will not recommend it to anyone..."

Mirabegron for Urinary Incontinence "I was given a sample of this from my doctor 50mg. After about 16 hours, the lower abdominal and groin pain became unbearable. Literally felt like I was having labor pains. This lasted for about 8 hours, and I thought I was past the side effects. I am taking strong pain medicine for my neck, but even that did not reduce the pain. The next morning, I woke up with a lot of pain in my lower back, and my joints hurt. It is now day 4 after taking 1 pill, and my joints are still bothering me. I have been told that I am very sensitive to medication, but I personally would not recommend trying this medication unless you have exhausted all other options. It also made my blood pressure skyrocket. The warning label definitely needs to be fixed."

Mirabegron for Urinary Frequency "I have been taking this for almost a year. I was in the hospital over the weekend. They thought I had a stroke. The doctor checked my scripts and told me my high blood pressure and a lot of my other symptoms were caused by this drug. I have been off it for 2 days now and really feel a lot better. This medication was a miracle pill that worked great, but the side effects are too much for me. I ended up with almost all of them."

Mirabegron for Urinary Frequency "I agree with all reviews of people saying that it made the problem worse! Had not even read reviews when I decided to look up symptoms, and sure enough, it is a true statement that it makes the problem WORSE! One of the symptoms is also leg and thigh pain, and that has almost gone away. Only happened at night while sleeping!! ALSO, and more importantly, raised my blood pressure on 25 mgs once a day. Certainly had no quality of life! Expensive, but I truly thought it would solve the problem. VERY ineffective drug with severe side effects!"

Mirabegron for Urinary Frequency "I have been taking this medication for about 2 months. First, I took the 25 mg, it worked for a few weeks, then stopped, so I bumped it up to the 50 mg. It works, but I'm going. It doesn't stop working like the 25 mg did. Due to the side effects I'm having, I think I'm going to quit taking this medication. Headaches, confusion, blurry vision, leg cramps, high blood pressure, rapid heart beating, dry mouth, anxiety, not sleeping if I take it at night, UTI, chest tightness."

Mirabegron for Urinary Frequency "Been on Myrbetriq 50 mg daily for 4 weeks for overactive bladder. Had bad side effects of very high blood pressure and constant burning pain in bladder and in urethra when peeing! Ditropan worked better. I've been in agony. Dr. didn't pick up on the side effects of feeling like a constant bladder infection effects! I figured it out myself!"

Mirabegron for Urinary Frequency "I've been taking it regularly for about a week. It was very helpful at first, and I sleep well. Now I'm in so much pain in the bladder and right kidney, mostly in my back. I'm starting to really worry. My blood pressure is really high, and I'm having blurred vision. Thank God I'm seeing my doctor tomorrow. That's if I don't have to go to the hospital."

Mirabegron for Urinary Frequency "I had modest improvements in my bladder urgency symptoms. My biggest problem was how it affected my blood pressure. I am a 29-year-old female and started having sky-high blood pressure readings. I have never had trouble with blood pressure prior to starting this medication. I had one blood pressure reading of 197/110. Now my blood pressure is still running high, around 155/90. I am going to start cutting the pills in half to see if it will help. One positive is that I only have to pay $20 on the patient assistance program through their website."

Mirabegron for Urinary Frequency "Having bladder pain after UTI. Took one 50 mg one night at 8 pm. Could never get sleepy. Finally went to sleep at 1 am and woke with a rapid heartbeat and anxiety at 3 am. Was awake all day and still had trouble sleeping the next night without taking another dose. So awoke at 5:30 am the next morning with a pulse at 116. My ears have been buzzing and ringing, which impairs my hearing. I would not recommend this medicine, for it causes high BP, fast heart rate, ears buzzing, anxiety. I could tell my urologist had trouble believing me, for he had told me it had no side effects. Why would he say that when you read on the label, all I had are listed? Well, he can say I told him about mine. I don’t like this drug. Oxybutynin was better even with the dry mouth."

Mirabegron for Urinary Frequency "77 yr-old male, had to get up many times at night to pee. Oxybutynyn made my mouth and throat painfully dry, had to D/C it, but Myrbetriq 50 mg (in conjunction with some prostate meds - Finasteride 5 mg and Alfuzosin HCL 10 mg) works well, with no side effects, save BP is a little higher. Sorry it doesn't work so well for you other folks!"

Mirabegron for Urinary Frequency "My urologist prescribed this about 9 months ago, as I had been going pee 3-4 times a night. It worked perfectly at the outset and raised my BP about 10 points, no biggie, it was low from terazosin anyways. But gradually, it has become less effective. I went from 25 to 50 milligrams during that time, and now I'm almost back at 3-4 times a night with a very low quantity of urine passing. I cannot find anything that tells me why this is occurring. The doctor doesn't have anything on it either. Weird that it works so well at first and then stops."

Mirabegron for Urinary Incontinence "I used Myrbetriq for 3 weeks for OAB. The last 2 weeks had urine retention, high BP, bad headaches, no relief from this med. I stopped it today because of bad side effects, urinate more than even. Can not recommend this medicine for anyone."

Mirabegron for Urinary Frequency "I was diagnosed with overactive bladder and incomplete bladder emptying. It was noted that I had a rather small bladder. For incomplete bladder emptying, I've been cathing. I tried several drugs prior to Myrbetriq with no effect (other than side effects). The Myrbetriq/cath combo worked! No more frequent middle-of-the-night treks to the bathroom, plus all the time all day long treks to the bathroom. The warning about watching your blood pressure when taking this drug is important. I have high blood pressure (being treated) before this, and I believe the Myrbetriq made it go up a bit, so my BP meds have been adjusted. I would urge anyone with similar problems that can't find relief with the other drugs to give this one a try. I'm told it operates in a different way, so it's worth giving a shot. Note: for being covered by insurance, mine had to be informed that I had given other less expensive drugs an honest try first."

For Urinary Frequency "Worked great at first. Went to the doctor after a month, and he checked my blood pressure, which incidentally had always been good, to find it sky high. Immediately came off them, and 10 days later, my blood pressure is still bad, and I'm terrified of potential illness due to that. Wish I'd never taken it and hope to God that these side effects are not long-lasting."

Mirabegron for Urinary Frequency "My urologist gave me samples of 50 mg Myrbetriq for urinary frequency. Thank God for samples because this med is $500 a month where I live. I'm on blood pressure meds as well. I've been taking the Myrbetriq for a week, and for the last 2 days, I have felt horrible. When I checked my blood pressure, it was 20+ points higher than usual. I'm not gonna be taking this anymore. It did, however, help with the stress incontinence issue and feeling like I needed to go every 30 minutes."

For Urinary Frequency "This is my second attempt at taking Betmiga. The first caused massive headaches and really high blood pressure. My docs were convinced it was an interaction with MS drugs problem. But no, exactly the same happened this time. Taking a triple dose of blood pressure meds now to try to control my blood pressure, which has rocketed. As well as the infections, mouth ulcers, headache, etc., it’s not been a fun experience. Be careful with this drug. Those few weeks of not peeing so much were not worth this pain."
