For Vaginal Yeast Infection "It works well. The first day I noticed itching and swelling around my vagina, I went and got Monistat. The itching was getting worse. On day 1, I still had a little itching. On day 2, no itching but still swelling. On day 3, no itching, no swelling, but the infection was coming out. Good to use."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "The first time I used it, it burned like hell! I couldn't breathe almost because it hurt so bad. I'm only on the second day, but it seems to be getting better. It's not burning for me anymore, just itchy. I've been using the anti-itch cream it came with, but honestly, just find a different YI medicine. I would not wish the amount of pain and suffering the first dose gave me. I literally called my mom crying and screaming because it burned so badly. I don't know who thought it was a good idea to make something that feels like a blowtorch was just inserted in there, but it doesn't make any of us happy. Although, I will say it has done wonders for the itching. Today I've had almost no itching unless I've had to go to the bathroom. Just tough it out, unless you have a serious reaction to it like severe swelling and stuff like that. But it works pretty well for me."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "It definitely itches like hell for an hour or two, and I have had minor pain for a few hours too, but dear God, does it work. Just like cuts that are healing itch, your vagina is going to itch as the medicine works. I felt so much better the day after my first dose. Yeast infections need to be treated or they can become serious problems, and this is the cheapest way to treat it. I used the Monistat 7, and I think the 3 and 1 might be stronger. For those who complained about actual burning and swelling, that is an allergic reaction. Y'all really should be taking a small amount and applying a little first to see how your body reacts."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "First YI. Insert cream and now my woman part is killing me! The itching got so bad my husband laughed because I looked funny squirming around and wiggling. Worst vagina pain ever. I just want it gone. I tried to wash it out, but it didn’t help. Took Benadryl, which has slowly helped. My poor thing was swollen! Hate this stuff and will never use it again. It should come with a warning label! God help it!!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I'm pregnant and obtained a YI after being on an antibiotic. My OB nurse recommended Monistat. Day 1, the burning of this medicine was so horrible I almost couldn't bear it!! I tried to wipe most of it off. Made my area hurt worse than it did in the first place and made me swell. Day 2, I was feeling slightly relieved and didn't use the product as I was afraid of the burning from the night before. Day 3, I felt almost normal today, slightly painful sensations in my urethra, but I felt good. Showering burned as my skin is practically raw. Trying to have intercourse... PURELY AWFUL!! Burning like no other, I had to use a wet washcloth to calm down the irritation. So I decided to try the Monistat again. I am currently asking myself why. If I thought the burning was bad before, I have been holding myself for 20 minutes now, waiting for this pain to subside. Mind you, I only used the cream on the outside. Instant burning and swelling after 60 seconds... NO WAY I am putting that inside myself."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I have used Monistat in the past, and it never felt like this. I assumed I just had a bad yeast infection, but it was burning and itching so bad that I decided to research it. They must have changed the formula. Not only was I itching and burning, but I was also swollen. I will be contacting them tomorrow to try and get a refund or to at least express my opinion. They should be ashamed of themselves."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "It’s the fact that this burns like hell. OMG, the first night I acted like a baby, it was the most painful and itchy experience. Looking at the comments really made me feel better. I wanted to see if this was normal and if I was the only one. I’m on day 3, and it itches, it feels like somebody is tickling insides, and I have to scratch extremely bad. My vag lips were swollen, and I put coconut oil on it to soothe the pain."
