"A very effective drug for stopping MS relapses. I have had about 7 courses of treatment (over approximately 20 years) consisting of infusion of 1 gram per day of Solu-Medrol for 3 consecutive days. Pretty brutal side effects: immediate metallic taste in mouth after commencing infusion; persistent agitation or feeling wired; difficulty sleeping; spikes blood sugar. All side effects disappear shortly after the conclusion of infusion therapy."
