Menthol topical for Pain "My husband used Blue Emu for 4 years on his back. The past two years, he was so sedated he couldn’t stay awake. It was like he was taking a narcotic. He was getting ready to go get tests on his heart. It dawned on me that the only medication he was taking was topical Blue Emu. He stopped using it, and within a few days, he woke up and started feeling better. He is a different person. This stuff was soooo bad for him."

Menthol topical for Pain "I have been using Biofreeze for years with fantastic results! I have used the spray, gel & roll-on which is my favorite. I wasn't thrilled with the spray, I found it difficult to use & I didn't like the mist in the air. The gel is good, but make sure you wear a glove to apply this. Any trace of Biofreeze on your hands can cause severe irritation of sensitive tissue (eyes, mouth, genitalia, etc). ALWAYS WASH YOUR HANDS THOROUGHLY after use. An example lately, I have very bad cervical pain. I use the roll-on and then use a neck pillow for support. Leaving it in place for a few hours really helps me; I often do this at bedtime and take it off sometime after I have been sleeping for a while!"

Menthol topical for Pain "Biofreeze has made a huge difference in reducing the amount of pain meds I use. Lifelong (50 years) of back pain. I am so happy about reducing meds including a prescription for hydrocodone. It cut my intake of this by at least half."

Menthol topical for Pain "Original Blue-Emu Super Strength topical cream 12 oz. Lot 17S0e, EXP 10/20. This product gives nearly instant relief of muscle pain. I'm not really sure why I often have muscle pain in my upper arms, but this simply makes that pain go away. Amazing! However, I have been reading reviews and realize there must be some misleading information on its labeling. It cannot be the 'Original' formula since its first ingredient is WATER! :-( Apparently, it used to have Aloe vera before. (I wonder why that was removed?)"

Menthol topical for Pain "I had pulled some muscles in my lower back. My mom, who suffers from arthritis, suggested I put some on my lower back. I was like, okay, after about 25 minutes, there seemed to be a noticeable difference in the pain. I was surprised."

Menthol topical for Pain "Biofreeze works really well after hard labor or exercise. It cools off and relieves the pain, making it a great recovery ointment for muscles. I use it in addition to rolling out. It kind of acts like a rub in an ice pack. I find this to be better for recovery than Tiger Balm. But I use Tiger Balm for tight muscles and joints."

Menthol topical for Pain "It's amazing. I have tried everything on the market for my leg pain. It was suggested to me by a rehabilitation facility that I was in. I have used it ever since. It's been over 3 years. Still using it! I tell everybody about it."

I thought maybe I had it on my hands and touched my mouth, so this time I had my husband put it on my back, and I never touched it. I still taste it on my lips and in my mouth. Does it absorb from your skin into your bloodstream?"

Menthol topical for Pain "I now have what looks like gray, dirty skin. Also, white patches of skin. I just put 2 and 2 together after using for over a year. I've always had beautiful skin on my back. Now it's ruined. And constantly itching."

Menthol topical for Pain "I used Aspercreme pain relieving heat gel, and within one hour, I was burnt to a crisp. I washed it off 3 times, but I still was burning. My wife got a wet cloth and two ice packs, and I was finally able to get some relief. I would not advise anyone to use this product!!!"

Menthol topical for Pain "Two weeks ago, I applied Icy Hot roll onto my lower back. I now have a skin rash all across my lower back, and it is very dry and itchy. It’s been a little over 2 weeks now, and the rash has not cleared up yet."

For Sore Throat "Works well for about 1-2 hours, however, not all of the flavors taste good. I recommend the original Hall’s (square-shaped) cough drops as they are easiest to palate and help the sore throat. They’ve gotten me through this bout of flu."

Menthol topical for Pain "I was told to use Aspercreme Heat for my shoulder pain. Within 30 minutes of putting it on, my skin started burning, turning red, and itching. I tried to remove it, but it had soaked into my skin. I've taken 50 mg of Benadryl and washed the area that I put the Aspercreme on 3 times, but the itching and burning have continued. I would not suggest this product to anyone!!!"

Menthol topical for Pain "Although it does not last long, it does help with the pain. I use it on my lower back and my neck for arthritis. My lower back has developed a rash after several uses. I have left it off for several days to see if the rash goes away."

Menthol topical for Pain "If you are anyone that loves to hit the gym hard like I do, you gotta know what muscle pain feels like. No one can really tell or know when you have gone too far because you are supposed to hurt and be in pain. If you are in pain, it means that your body muscles are stretching and you are making room for more muscles to fit. Many people don't understand that when you go home, then that's when the adrenaline wears off and you start to think, 'I went a little too far that time.' Since most of what I do is shoulder press, I have to say that this back patch for pain has saved me from several nights when I wouldn't have been able to sleep. Absorbine Jr. pain patches for back work quickly, absorb fast, and give me pain relief fast no matter what."

Menthol topical for Pain "Relief!! From 1st use, it has never failed me. Bunion on left foot, arthritic 2nd toe, and heel spur on right foot. Info was passed to me, and I passed it to two others so far with positive feedback. Only thing I could imagine better would be a cure vs. surgery. Applicator is so easy. Thank you, Zims."

Menthol topical for Pain "I used it for 15 years on knees, ankles, shoulders, back, calves, thighs, and found it worked better on my knees if I used a tight knee support. Wonderful product. Can't find it anywhere. Had to use Bengay extra strength."

Menthol topical for Pain "I applied Aspercreme on my knee, and 20 minutes later, my knee was red, itchy, and I felt like the skin was peeling off. Horrible experience. I cleaned the area I applied the cream on three times, and the burning continued. I have never experienced this with a product, and I'm not allergic to anything at age 30. I think this product needs to be recalled. I had knee pain, now I have a burning pain."

Menthol topical for Pain "I sent my son to Walmart for Aspercreme. The store was out. He bought Icy Hot Max. I used this for a day. The smell was atrocious. But I used body spray and sprayed the rooms with Odoban. I have severe back pain (10). It took my pain down to an 8. I had guests coming the next day. When they arrived, each one commented on the smell. After 5 or 10 minutes, two ladies had to go outside. I got on line for General Dollar. They had Aspercreme. Thank God my son was able to leave work. I showered this stuff off. He brought it to me and no more complaints. My pain went to a 2. Now I know why they were out of Aspercreme and there was plenty of this in stock."

Menthol topical "I'm allergic to the Biofreeze aerosol, not the gel or roll-on, just the aerosol. Why? Why is the best relief to an auto-injured neck only better with the aerosol, but my skin falls off or stays bright red just 5 minutes after the aerosol is applied? BTW, the roll-on and gel don't work as well. I have all 3 products and bought them in bulk. I'd like the MSDS on them. I used Astra until they changed their formula recently."
