What is Cepacol Sore Throat Max Numb?
Cepacol Sore Throat Max Numb (for use inside the mouth) is used to provide temporary relief from cough associated with a cold, minor irritation or sore throat in adults and children at least 5 years old.
Cepacol Sore Throat Max Numb may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
Cepacol Sore Throat Max Numb side effects

Before taking this medicine
You should not use Cepacol Sore Throat Max Numb if you are allergic to menthol.
Ask a doctor or pharmacist if this medicine is safe to use if you have ever had:

cough with mucus;

sore throat with breathing problems for more than 2 days.
Ask a doctor before using this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Do not give this medicine to a child without medical advice.
How should I use Cepacol Sore Throat Max Numb?
Use exactly as directed on the label, or as prescribed by your doctor.
Allow the Cepacol Sore Throat Max Numb to dissolve in your mouth without chewing.
Cepacol Sore Throat Max Numb may be used once every 2 hours as needed.
Your dose needs may change if you switch to a different brand, strength, or form of this medicine. Avoid medication errors by using exactly as directed on the label, or as prescribed by your doctor.
Call your doctor if your sore throat is severe or continues for longer than 2 days, especially if you also have a fever, headache, skin rash, swelling, or nausea and vomiting. Stop using and call your doctor if you have a cough that does not improve after 7 days of treatment.
Store at room temperature away from moisture and heat.
What happens if I miss a dose?
Cepacol Sore Throat Max Numb is used when needed. If you are on a dosing schedule, skip any missed dose. Do not use two doses at one time.

Seek emergency medical attention or call the Poison Help line at 1-800-222-1222.
What should I avoid while using Cepacol Sore Throat Max Numb?
