For Period Pain "I have found that I have to take this as soon as I feel any twinges for it to work, and I take codeine at the same time. It massively reduced blood flow and made the cramps bearable. This month, I am back to being shaky, nauseous, and sweating. But I have anxiety and depression, and both these things exaggerate pain hugely. Relaxation is a big key to better periods!"

For Period Pain "I have never taken tablets that give me such bad side effects. When I take these, I have to stay absolutely still for a good hour, otherwise, if I do move and they’re kicking in, I get severe lower back and stomach pain. To the point where I’m shaking and have to get on my hands and knees. And the slowing of the blood loss was very, very delayed and slow. Still bleeding a week after I started taking them."

For Period Pain "When I first got my period, I used to be able to use paracetamol and ibuprofen to take away the pain, but as the years went by, it no longer worked, and I was being sick, shaking, and in excruciating pain. So mefenamic acid was recommended, and it has done nothing to help with the pain. The only good thing is that it shortens my period from 7 days down to 3 or 4 days. It has also made my back pain when I’m on my period worse, it’s gotten so bad that my back starts to seize up, and I’m left curled up and crying."
