For Depression "Did two infusions for depression at 0.7 mg/kg. The infusions went fine, but my suicidal thoughts got really bad following treatment. It also caused me to start self-harming again. If I had done a third infusion, I would’ve ended up in the psych ward. Please be careful with this stuff."

For Depression "I was bipolar II for decades, and this changed my life after 9 treatments. To the person who suffered suicidal tendencies after treatment – that happened to me as well, and the solution was more ketamine. It worked beautifully."

"Taking ketamine was the worst mistake I made. My depression got increasingly worse. From very rare thoughts of suicide to more regular thoughts. Still want to. I took the 2-week every-other-day treatment. I hated being that high. I would sob after treatment, something I never really had thoughts that severe before. I was not anywhere this severe before the ketamine. I was moderately depressed. Now I am suicidal every single day. Now it has been 3 days since the last treatment. Finding this forum and knowing there are others is such a relief. My doctor continued to tell me to keep doing treatment even though it was making me incredibly suicidal."

For Depression "It was horrible. I do not recommend this. Please do research for the place you receive this drug. I had horrible suicidal ideations, excessive vomiting, migraines, and overall discomfort throughout this entire process. I cannot describe how terrible it was."

Ketamine for Anesthesia "I was administered ketamine before surgery in 2020 to repair a broken arm and install a metal plate. It was a horrendous experience that left me with lasting terrifying images and strong suicidal thoughts that have endured for more than one year. I am alarmed by medical people who are advocating the use of this drug."

For Depression "I loved the first 3 treatments! 2 in the psych unit/behavioral health unit, 2 in a clinic and 1 so far at home (have a month's supply of nasal from a compounding pharmacy, and it's a controlled substance so I had to show my driver's license at the pharmacy.) My last in-clinic IV dose was awesome during but horrible after because of bad thoughts during treatment. I was more suicidal afterwards and my boiling depression turned to lava. My most recent nasal treatment was JUST RIGHT. PERFECT. AS LONG AS YOU ARE IN A FAIRLY GOOD MOOD AND FOCUS ON VERY POSITIVE THINGS DURING IT, ketamine is mental health gold."
