Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) "All my physicians prescribed it for my COPD, but I used it as directed and I could sense no special improvement and I am slowly beginning to have more problems with blurry vision and urinary retention. Plus two episodes of A.Fib which required emergency drip of Metoprolol to stop. I discontinued Trelegy Ellipta on my own, without asking physicians several months ago and have not regretted it. I won't be taking it again. It seems high risk for me without enough benefit. However, for most patients I think the physician should be consulted before discontinuing."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) "It works better than anything else but is way too expensive, and my insurance will not cover it. I'm on Medicare and Braven Medicare choice. This is not a matter of choice, I just simply cannot afford it."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) "My breathing is much better. I don't need albuterol now. I was using albuterol multiple times a day. Side effects of Trelegy have been: hyperalertness, elevated mood, insomnia, increased appetite. I have to have more than 24-36 hours between doses. I am experimenting with a good schedule. Easy to use, similar to other inhalers. I don't know if my doctor will keep me on this drug. I have adverse reactions to many medications."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) "Have taken trelegy for 1 year - it works but had to stop taking it as the cost went from $131 for 3 months to $500 for 3 months supply. Being a senior, the mfr is taking us to the cleaners. Living on a budget you have to decide what to take food or no food. I know this will not make a different to the mfrs. Thought drugs were suppose to be going down, but guess not."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) "I was taking Trelegy for 10 days, was working well for me, after about three doses I noticed my voice was becoming very hoarse, this continued to the point where I lost my voice completely after approx 7 doses I immediately stoped using it. It has been 3 weeks since I stoped using it and my voice is still not back to normal"

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) "Started on Trelegy last part of 2019, didn't seem any better than Advair. then middle of 2021 my lungs started hurting on daily basis, I stopped the Trelegy and my lungs quit hurting. about that time it seen my teeth were imploding, falling apart, and I rinsed my mouth every time I used it. Now I have to try to get money for new teeth as. I am retired and limited funds."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) "I have COPD and have been on every inhaler on the market. None of them give me enough relief to be able to carry out daily activities. The problem I find with all of the dry powdered inhalers is that most of the powder ends up in the back of my throat. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, or if anyone else has this problem, but it means that the medication is not getting into my lungs. I may have side effects from Trelegy, it's hard to sell since I have some side effects from all of them."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) "I have been on Trelegy for four months for stage 4 COPD. It seems to have a real positive effect on stopping exacerbations or flare ups. Only side effect I have experienced is a little goop around my eyes in the morning. You definitely need to rinse out your mouth after using it, otherwise thrush condition will set in. This medication makes managing COPD a lot easier. Very easy to use the inhaler with the counter. The government should force the tobacco companies pay for this drug."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) "Have had good reliable results so far. Well over one year of use. My cardiologist has adjusted my dosages of my heart medications and I have had good results so far. I do have CHF but last tests have shown an improvement in heart function."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) "When I first starting using Trelegy I felt great that my lungs were opened up, I wasn't doing it daily, I ended up in the hospital with upper respiratory infection, so I stopped taking it for a while, well when I started back on it it's not as worthy as it was, but now I'm experiencing bladder problems. So I I've got to stop taking it again. I know there is a God that will help me. Good luck everyone."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) "Been trying to get the VA to authorize Trelegy for me. My pulmonologist gave me two 14-day samples and I couldn't believe the relief in breathing it provided for me. The doctor wrote a prescription for me to take to Walmart, but the price was $799.00 which I couldn't afford. I requested that my prescription be sent to the VA, but they want me to take a cheaper medication that cannot provide me with the same relief as Trelegy. I am fighting with the VA. I have two doctors, one is a VA doctor and the other is a community one trying to help the VA to authorize it. I pray and hope they will comply with the doctors' orders. I rate Trelegy a 111%."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) "Had a 2 week trial usage of Trelegy and was going great for the 1st week used every morning, breathing really improved but during the 2nd week I got recurrent very bad sore (at night only) throat even tho I thoroughly rinse afterward and brush, hoarseness with deep cough to clear airway, became very nasally like I was catching a cold during the early part of days after getting out of bed, headaches, and also at night very bright halo around images on TV which hurt my eyes trying to focus. Will not continue using."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) "Trelegy Ellipta (TE) works as described and certainly helps me live a more active life, however... I have concerns with the apparent similarities between TE's 'side-effects' and the actual symptoms of COPD; 'shortness of breath', wheezing. Do I suffer from side-effects or under/over medical treatment? I will be discussing this with my GP shortly and hope to better understand the difference between side-effects and the common symptoms of COPD."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) "I suffer with COPD and emphysema since 2020, and had been hospitalized after an exacerbation attack in 2021. At the time, I was using an inhaler and could not breathe deeply without violent coughing spasms. However, upon my release from hospital I was prescribed Trelegy and within 45 minutes after inhaling first dose I literally felt a lessening of tightness in my chest and I could finally take a deep breath. Two years later, I still feel less tension in my lungs, I cough up less sputum, and am comfortable sleeping at night. The Trelegy inhaler is extremely easy to use and counts down from 30 after each use. I am thankful beyond description for this product!"

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) "I was prescribed this product by my pulmonologist after trying several different "solutions". I'm sure she explained fully what the purpose was but, I didn't pay attention. Reading this article mirrors the results I've gotten, thus far. My cough volume and intensity has lessened significantly. My breathing is much better, I'm concerned that one component is a steroid and that this is a long-term-use product. We'll see."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) "I have developed a vaginal itch. It had become very annoying and had to take Benadryl. This started a couple of weeks ago but have been on this inhaler for about 4 months. Other than that it has worked very well."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) "I was given Trelegy by my doctor for my COPD. I had a bad breathing episode the other night so I used Trelegy several times. This was probably a mistake. I have been off of it for about 4 days but the side effects have been awful. I have very bad back pain and can hardly stand up straight. I am waiting for the meds to get out of my system. I am in a great deal of pain and using ice packs as well as heat. Everything is an effort to do. I will never take this drug again though it cost me a lot of money. Ventolin and advise are better."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) "I've used trelegy for about a year. My lungs are bad shape. I never did see any difference from advair, symbicort and trelegy. They all have some side effects, but this last year I noticed my teeth falling apart. The teeth would come apart, by separating at the gum line and leaving small part of the tooth sticking up. I stopped using it about 2 months ago when I figured it was the trelegy doing the damage. I need all new teeth which will cost way more than I can afford."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) "When I had first started this med( Trelegy 100/62.5/25) I was unimpressed. Put it down, tried another and I was worse off. I went back to this med and along with a handful of other meds it's kept me out of the hospital (exacerbations). Keep your mouth washed out after using inhaled steroids and all should be good. The price needs to come down so me and other COPD sufferers can afford a life while these overpriced meds keep us alive."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) "Didn't get COPD til I was 90! Dr. gave me samples of Trelegy. Very helpful with breathing, but after 1 week use I developed hives all over trunk, upper legs and upper arms. Dr. gave me samples of Breztri. So far, good medicine."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) "After being diagnosed with COPD, I was put on a rescue inhaler and was having to rely on it to often, when my doctor placed me on the Trelegy. I have used Trelegy for a year now, and I have only had to resort to the rescue inhaler on three occasions. For me, breathing is easier, with Trelegy."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) "I don't like it. It increases coughing and other side effects displayed. I just stopped for a week and got along fine with my rescue inhaler. Most times my breathing is ok. I am a great exerciser, walking climbing stairs gym and swimming. Most of it every day. I also am into natural remedies like Chinese and reject most common meds. I am 83 and try to live without this stuff."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) "Changed from Advair to Trelegy Ellipta and found it to be a superior and more effective product for me. The only side effect was a runny nose for an hour post inhaling. Cost 50% more and I find that unfortunately almost unbearable."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) "My pulmonologist gave me samples of Trelegy to see if I’d do better. I have been on their website & requested information on their free requirements. Response has been silence. Not once have they reached out to provide information. Shows that the profit margin is their preferred mode of operation."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) "I was given Trelegy by the pulmonary office to try; it was a sample. I was diagnosed 5 years ago with severe COPD. I would swear that this is a miracle drug. When I first used it, I didn't expect much, but it actually worked. Now I found out that Medicaid won't pay for it. I'm now on oxygen 24/7. I realize that it's expensive, but if you can't breathe, I suggest finding a way to get it."
