Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) "Trelegy Ellipta Absolutely works for my Emphysema. I don’t think I would be able to function without it. $1588.91 for a 3 months supply. Insurance calls it non-formulatory. Wish I could find it more affordable somewhere."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) "I was on Trelegy for about 3 months. It cost me $42.00 per month. Then after the first of the year my insurance changed and the cost went to over $700.00. My dr talked to insurance co and it went to $260.00 for 30 day supply. I couldn't afford that so my dr put me on another med and side effects about killed me. Then dr gave me sample of trelegy see if he can find something else for me."

I have a cough so I have taken antibiotics - just finished so i will see how i get on. I would rather take 1 inhaler than 2 all my friends are saying that they see a difference in me in a good way"

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) "My Dr. gave me Trelegy 10 days ago and it has helped considerably with my breathing. Advair did not help also advair made my tongue so sore I could hardly eat. I rinse after using Trelegy but I think only side effect seems to be back towards my throat is a little sore. It hasn't been expensive, so far anyway. I have bought 1 inhaler. But I'm on medicare. 8 dollars for an inhaler that helps isn't bad! That's been my experience so far"

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) "I used this med for months. All it did was create a sore mouth and throat and it dried my mouth out as well. I noticed that it aggravated my paralyzed larynx causing it to be a constant battle trying to clear the junk off my throat. It gave me pneumonia type symptoms that I had to treat multiple times with antibiotics. I finally took myself off the medication but it seems the effects are long lasting or forever at this point after 4 months."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) "I have been using Trelegy Ellipta for approximately 8 months. I suffer from pain in my legs and cramps that reduced a lot when I started to rinse my mouth after application. I read that it is very important. I don't use oxygen hardly ever. Lungs respond relatively well."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) "Trelegy use made me not hungry and food taste gross. I now use breo and incruse and I don't get it they are all made by the same company but I don't get my food tasting bad by what I am using now. Trelegy for me has a $10 co pay and I spend $60 more in copays because what I'm on now doesn't make my food taste bad."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) "Started taking it one month now. Breathing much easier, use my rescue inhaler much less. My doctor put me on it after my 3rd episode of COPD with pneumonia in less than a year, and my breathing got worse after Covid. Negatives: body aches, flu-like symptoms, and fatigue I'm experiencing, and a cough that won't go away. Trade-off? Will give it another month when I go back for my follow-up. I do like breathing better."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) "A wonder drug it controls my chronic asthma magnificently. The asthma cough it does not. I still have that old dry cough. It might be and allergy. When you use it be sure to rinse mouth with water. When I first took Trelegy cough stop from the shock of new medication but returned a month later. But my breathing is awesome."

I had horrific chest and back pain as well as more coughing and phlegm. I have no energy at all. I took my last dose of this today."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) "I am relatively new to meds for COPD - and am also finding the costs are ridiculously high. I have been appealing to my insurance company- I called customer service-and they helped me get the forms for the doctor to appeal but have no results yet- but it's worth 'trying' at least. Maybe some of the others on here can try appeal or ask for special consideration as well - Good luck to us all"

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) "I immediately felt my throat become irritated, then within a few days I could feel it become swollen, I could barely swallow. I stopped taking it when this occurred. In addition my joints ached. I also had excruciating back pain. Also, my breathing did not not improve significantly. One positive, my blood pressure dropped. It's not the medication for me."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) "I have asthma and COPD and scared to leave the house due to my breathing. I have taken every medication prescribed to me, and last week, my doctor prescribed Trelegy. So, I tried it, and from day one, I have not used my inhaler or nebulizer. I have had no breathing issues in 5 days, and I am able to leave my home without worries."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) "Works absolutely great for my mild COPD maintenance. I found I could use it every other day. However, the pulmonologist is switching me, saying I don't need the steroid. The anti-cholinergic (umeclidinium) started creating a constipation problem, but this was expected and fixed with OTC stool softener (ducusate Na). I got a bad cramp in my calf at 5 AM one night, so this was unexpectedly LOWERING MY POTASSIUM. Watch out for that one. Ridiculously expensive! Of course, that's not something unusual for this particular inhaler. Big pharma loves you."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) "I have level 4 COPD and have been using my albuterol inhaler about 10 times a day for my breathing issues which I know is way to much. I have been on Trelegy for one month and have Not used my albuterol inhaler no more than 5 times Total. I am very very grateful for Trelegy and wish I started taking it sooner but because of the price I was unable to afford it. But since I just turned 65 I am able to afford it. No side effects for me and I do have heart disease."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) "Trelegy Ellipta has been an absolute game changer for me. I've only been taking it for a month but have had zero side effects besides the occasional raspy voice. Prior to my doctor prescribing this, I was taking Spiriva daily, going through an albuterol inhaler a week, having twice a day nebulizer treatments, and once a month prednisone yet still could not walk to the mailbox without gasping for air and stopping. I feel like my old self again. I don't panic and carry my inhaler into every room with me (actually, I have only used it once in the last month) and can walk anywhere without struggling at all. I went hiking with my husband last weekend and moved like my old self. Absolute game changer and wish I would've tried it years ago."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) "Simply amazing. Years of docs ignoring my actual symptoms. By the time I was diagnosed, I was pretty far along to the moderate/severe stage. After the first dose, approximately four hours in, I immediately started feeling a noticeable difference in the way I was breathing! And then, at around the initial six-hour dose, I noticed that the way I was breathing had changed! Now, I was breathing from my diaphragm (from the upper stomach area) down from the upper chest (labored). And as my daily dose during the first 30 days rounded the 18th hour, I started to notice how my breathing reverted back to labored upper chest breathing. But by the 45th day of Trelegy, my breathing had stayed at the diaphragm level, keeping a nice easy breathing pattern ever since. Once, there was a 4-day lapse in between 30-day supplies and by the second day of that lapse, I was immediately back to a very scary breathing problem. I [love] Trelegy."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) "It makes congestion. It causes cough when I inhale it. I think it makes more phlegm in the throat. It causes headaches. It does help with my breathing daily. Very useful in regard to taking just once a day, that's great. My concern is inhaling too much in a dose."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) "Well I ran out of Trelegy almost two months ago...was struggling... oxygen at night, 3 or 4 Duoneb treatments a day. My oxygen level was staying in the 80s. When I went to the bathroom or exerted myself (just a little), the level would drop. I just got a new prescription yesterday morning. I used it as soon as I got home. This morning I woke up to my oxygen being 94. 4 hours later it was still 94. I didn't get winded going to the bathroom. Walked around outside some later in the evening, my oxygen level got down to 87. I haven't taken any more meds. 14 hours later my oxygen level is 92. I would definitely recommend it. I just pray it does as well in the long run. The two weeks before I got it, I was around sawdust. I coughed so hard for two weeks, my ribs and head hurt so badly that I wanted to cry. Tell you, I was much better not long after I took Trelegy."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) "I have noticed an immediate improvement with my breathing even at night, but I do have other side effects I hope go away soon. As of today (3/11/2024), I've only been taking it for about 5 days. Side effects are: gastrointestinal upset, headache, general unwell feeling as though I'm getting sick. Hopefully these go away after a week or so. Generally, I'm pleased with the effectiveness of this medication."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) "I was put on it in the hospital while being treated for an acute COPD flare-up. I have also had asthma most of my life. It seems to help a lot with only one dose a day for me. Downside is it's really expensive and my insurance didn't want to cover it right away, I guess because it's so new. Possible side effects for me were dry mouth and feeling a little amped up. I attribute the speedy effects to getting used to a new bronchodilator... which generally has stimulant effects. It seems to bother me less as I get used to it. In all, it's been a major help in getting my air back."

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol) "My breathing is much better. I don't need albuterol now. I was using albuterol multiple times a day. Side effects of Trelegy have been: hyperalertness, elevated mood, insomnia, increased appetite. I have to have more than 24-36 hours between doses. I am experimenting with a good schedule. Easy to use, similar to other inhalers. I don't know if my doctor will keep me on this drug. I have adverse reactions to many medications."
