For High Cholesterol "Took one injection last Saturday for 5 days. I had a headache, lost 13 lbs, no appetite at all, leg tingling, stuffed-up nose at first, then nose ran like a faucet. Felt weak, no stamina, and my cardio doctor thinks I’m a hypochondriac! Praulent never bothered me for the past 5 years. The insurance company won’t cover Praulent, so I got stuck with this terrible drug! WTH, it’s all about money, not patient care."

For High Cholesterol "My cholesterol has gone down very well. My doctor is very happy. Nose runs a bit in the mornings. I have itchy lumps come up on my back and arms, which are annoying, but I put up with it to get cholesterol down."

For High Cholesterol "I started taking Repatha in September. After the first dose, I was having cold-like symptoms, runny nose, tired, etc. The third dose was horrible, my ear was totally filled with fluid. I went to my GP, he said it was because of the post-nasal drip. He gave me antibiotics and prednisone, stating it was a sinus infection. My ear would not get better. I still was taking the Repatha. I ended up at an ENT, who said my tube was closed, more prednisone. In the meantime, I couldn't get out of bed, I was so sick from the Repatha. It was like I had the flu all the time. Things didn't get better! My ear was still a mess! My ear ended up draining into my lungs, which put me in the ER. I still was not any better. I contribute everything that is going on with me to the Repatha. My cholesterol went way down. But the price I'm paying is not worth it. My legs are still weak, my body is fatigued, my eyes are blurry, my mental status diminished. This drug went right in the garbage! Do not take this drug."

For High Cholesterol, Familial Heterozygous "24 hours after my injection, I had a really bad sore throat and runny nose. Within 48 hours, I was in pain everywhere, and by the third day, I couldn't even walk upstairs. I was in the worst pain of my life, my throat was so bad I literally felt like I injected myself with poison. I feel like this drug should be taken off the market, this is the worst I have ever felt."

For Cardiovascular Risk Reduction "Had LAD (left anterior descending artery) stent because of 80% blockage. I was on a statin but not lowering LDL enough, LDL was at 120. After 2 injections of Repatha, LDL was at 33 with no significant side effects, runny nose occasionally."

For High Cholesterol "I was diagnosed with coronary artery disease at the age of 36. My LDL cholesterol at that time was 150. After my stent placement, my cardiologist wanted my cholesterol level (LDL) to be under 50. I tried every cholesterol statin drug, and none of them really worked but only produced very bad side effects. I’ve been taking Repatha now for one year. My LDL has dropped down to 50, but there are side effects: runny nose, congested chest, these only last a couple of days, but the worst side effect that I have encountered is high blood pressure-not terribly or extremely high, but it has caused it to be elevated/high. After reading these reviews, it makes me wonder if this drug is actually safe or not, but my experience so far has been good, but I do feel the side effects are getting worse."

For High Cholesterol "I had a constant runny nose and sneeze attacks. Not one or two sneezes, but several. My sinuses are sensitive when breathing in strongly. Took one week ago, and the run has been constant for the last four days. It's not normally like this, one day maybe, but not several. It does eventually subside."

For High Cholesterol "So far, so good. One dose in and my cholesterol and triglycerides are normal after 25 years. Statins mess with my body. Repatha is easy to take. I am on the 140 mg SureClick. The nurses at Amgen go way out of their way to help you every step of the way. Side effects: a stuffy nose a day or two after injections. The hardest thing is remembering to take the injector out 30 minutes to warm up."

For High Cholesterol "I was on all statins. Could not tolerate any. Worst are the Lipitors. Repatha? No issues other than a runny nose and a dry regular cough every so often. Brought my cholesterol down effectively along with my whole plant-based diet and, of course, exercise. If you expect a drug to fix your problem, think again. You need to be taking responsibility with a healthy lifestyle. Couch potatoes need not complain."

For High Cholesterol "Repatha has reduced my LDL from about 80 to 22. My HDL has remained steady at 50. The only side effect I have had is a runny nose. This is the first year in a long time I have been able to get my heart rate above 130. I am pretty sure I am not developing any new plaque and could be dissipating some. Fingers crossed."
