For Birth Control "I have been on this pill for about a month and a half. I gained 20 pounds in about a month without changing my diet. I have been a complete antisocial freak who doesn't want to do anything besides sleep and be alone. My period was terrible, and I went from having sex with my boyfriend 2-3 times a day to 2 times a week. I have been to a therapist because of how emotional I've been, and I have wanted to drop out of college. The only 'semi' good thing about this birth control is no babies and huge breasts. I went from a C to a DD, which my boyfriend loves, but me not so much. I am getting off of it."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I started taking these Tri-Sprintec, and I hate them. I'm going to stop today. I haven't stopped bleeding really heavily for more than 7 days now, and I have so many blood clots that are huge too, not to mention my cramps are worse than they were without birth control."

For Birth Control "I have been taking Tri-Sprintec birth control for about 2 weeks now. This is the first time I have taken birth control, so like any person, I came to check the reviews to see other people’s experiences as well as asking friends, and I truly believe that EVERY BODY is different. I was very hesitant about buying it after reading all the horrible reviews I read, but still decided to give it a try. I have not had ANY side effects whatsoever from Tri-Sprintec. I am living my normal life just like before I started taking birth control. I haven’t really noticed any changes in my skin, neither good nor bad, which is fine with me. I truly do recommend for people to give this birth control a try. Don’t be scared because of everything you read, because like I said earlier, everyone’s body reacts differently. If you do go ahead and give it a try and you don’t like it or it doesn’t work for you, just look for different brands. There’s nothing wrong with trying!"

For Acne "I read a lot of reviews on this product that had me scared to try this pill. BUT one thing I noticed is that the majority of people who were on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo or whatever other product that is the 'name brand' version on this had the most problems with it. Anyway, I am on my 3rd week. I have not experienced any side effects that I could notice, seriously not one. I still feel the same way I did before I got on it. I'm taking this pill to regulate my cycle because it's so irregular and also for acne, which was most likely caused by imbalanced hormones. I haven't broken out since I have been on this pill."

For Acne "I started this pill that was recommended by my gyn as most effective for acne. The first 2 packs were a complete opposite for me. I broke out on parts of my face that I never really experienced acne on before. However, they weren’t cystic or big and red like I usually would get on the chin area. At the third pack, it got significantly better. I no longer had new breakouts. And now at my fourth pack, my scarring has faded for the most part, and around the placebo week, I get one small breakout but nothing crazy. If you’re just starting this pill and aren’t sure if you should stick it out, I’d say give it 3 months as recommended by the experts."

For Acne "I am almost through with my second month of pills, and I have to say that my acne has gotten worse. I normally have fairly clear skin with occasional small breakouts, but since the birth control, my acne has gotten much more common and more large and painful as well. I'm hoping that my body is still getting used to the hormones and will soon get back to normal. Also, my appetite has become a constant issue. My weight has stayed the same so far, but I am eating much more than I used to. Hoping that this is all just adjustments that will get better with time!"

For Birth Control "I am currently 19, in good health, not taking other medicines, have been tested negative for STDs, and sexually active with one partner only. I am taking birth control mainly as a contraceptive and partly to regulate my irregular periods. I have just completed my first week on Tri-Sprintec and have not experienced any significant changes. I have not had any mood swings in the past week, nor experienced drops/spikes in libido. No significant weight gain in this past week, however, I do feel my sports bras tightening up. (Hopefully, my breasts are growing?) No breast tenderness. No change in appetite. Complexion looks better if not the same. I will continue to share my experience with this pill. Currently, very happy with it."

For Birth Control "I started this pill a little less than a year ago, about six months after becoming sexually active. I have never had any problems with this pill. I was on Accutane for almost a year, and even it didn't clear my face up as much as Tri-Sprintec has. It has also made my periods perfect, they last 5-6 days and are super light. My weight has not changed at all. I have noticed my sex drive has gone down, but it works great for a contraceptive. I stopped using protection (condoms) about 4 months ago and am still baby-free! This pill is wonderful, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap and effective contraceptive or acne fix."

For Birth Control "I switched to Tri-Sprintec because I was on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo, and it was getting too expensive. I was terrified after reading reviews, so I thought I needed to post mine, saying I noticed no change. I've always had blemishes, so I don't blame Tri-Sprintec for that. It's not any worse. No bleeding, period the same time and length and flow as before. No moodiness or cramps. My experience (two months so far) is that I feel like I'm still on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo, my side effects didn't change at all, but I'm saving so much money!"

For Birth Control "I've been on Tri-Sprintec for a year now, and it's been great. The first month or two, the side effects were definitely there. I had mild cramps pretty constantly, and my boobs hurt, but it wasn't anything debilitating. The worst part was during the first month I was a bit dry down there. But that's all since cleared up. My period has been very constant and never late or early. I didn't gain any weight, and my anxiety hasn't elevated at all. This medication has been good to me."

For Birth Control "Been taking since August of 2014. LOVE IT. Haven't gained any weight, but I also work out regularly and eat healthy. Went up one cup size so far, and they seem to be getting a little better, which I don't hate! My acne has gotten a lot better. But there was about a week when I took it late every day, and I started breaking out bad. Sex is great, body looks good. Just a little more emotional than before too. Great for everyone!"

For Birth Control "I've been on Tri-Sprintec for years, and my period is extremely regular, and I get it on the same day every month. Acne has always been an issue, but it has definitely lightened up a bit since taking this birth control. If I miss a pill, my body lets me know. I get very nauseous and experience cramping just because I am so reliant, in a sense, on it. Also, I never had any significant weight change at all while taking it. I also have gone up a cup size too! I've had no trouble with Tri-Sprintec and would recommend it to others."

For Birth Control "This is my third type of birth control pill over the last 4 years. I've gone on and off birth control, mostly because I'm not sexually active very much unless I have a boyfriend. Currently, I'm on my 5th packet. Pros: CHEAP! $9 at Wal-Mart. No taste. Easy to swallow. Periods reduced to 4-5 days when they were lasting 7-8 days before. Cons: Bad nausea and headaches on the first 3 packets. Slight breast tenderness upon resuming a new packet. Usually only lasts for a couple of days. Delayed periods. On my old birth control, I would get them the next day after stopping a packet, but now it takes 3-4 days for it to start. Painful cramps for the first day of the period. Overall, I'd recommend it. All types of birth control will give you some of these side effects."

For Birth Control "Well, I'm an 18-year-old teen just trying to be safe and smart, but continue a normal life with little side effects, and this pill definitely did that for my twin sister and me. We love it. It's small and easy to swallow. No mood swings, no cramps, no sleepiness, or confusing abnormal bleeding that worries you for days. It's wonderful. We both recommend this to whoever is looking for a reliable contraceptive pill."

For Birth Control "I’ve been on Tri-Sprintec for a week. No side effects (no acne or weight gain) except I have realized that I do get moody or irritated quicker, but I try to manage it. Also, the first 3-4 days of taking the pill made me really nauseous after taking it, but then it went away after I ate something sweet. I’ll update again once I complete the month and get my period."

For Birth Control "With every online review, you have to take it with a grain of salt. Everyone's bodies are different. I was prescribed Tri-Sprintec when I was 15 and have been using it for the last 5 years. I rarely had any skin problems, besides the monthly pop-ups everyone gets. Stress, food, genetics, and physical health are contributors to breaking out too. I didn't gain any weight, I didn't get sick (unless I took it on an empty stomach), and for being sexually active for a few years, with this pill, I haven't gotten pregnant. There are several reviews out there that are horrible, but my experience has been a good one. I am sorry for those who experience otherwise, but don't let all the negativity deter you from choosing something that could be good for you."

For Birth Control "So I've been on it practically a month, I have 5 pills left. First week, I was super emotional, so I decided to take it at night, and that worked a lot better for me. I stopped getting random mood swings. My skin is a lot clearer now. Downside is I just had my first period on it, and I've been bleeding for a week and a half. It was light at first, and then it got really heavy. I'm on my 10th day on my period, and it's like a massacre, it won't stop. I'm hoping it ends soon, and my next period isn't as heavy, but if it continues, I will probably switch. I've also had really bad cramps during this whole ordeal."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "Third month of Tri-Sprintec for heavy periods, and I have not had very much side effects other than a bit of breast tenderness that went away after a month. My periods have gotten significantly better, and I have been complimented on my skin after years and years of acne (I’m 39). It’s been kinda nice to get compliments on my skin. Everyone is different, and don’t let another’s experience keep you from trying something new, you never know if it’s going to be right for you."

For Birth Control "I love Tri-Sprintec! It has regulated my cycle and cleared up my skin. The first couple of months, I was a little nauseated when I took it, but that has gone away. This pill helped to balance out my hormones and actually helped me to lose weight. No complaints other than the 1-2 nights of nausea I experience when I start a new pack. Oh, and it's FREE."

For Acne "Tri-Sprintec is definitely the best medication I have had for my face. In high school, I suffered from awful acne that got worse a week before my period started. My face was also burning so badly that I could hardly wash my face (the main reason why I had so much acne). My gyno prescribed this medication just for controlling the acne. Now I have been on the medication for 5 years, and my acne has completely disappeared, and I don't ever remember my last bad pimple!"

For Birth Control "I was switched from TriNessa several months ago. I know they are supposed to be the same, but where I had no issues on TriNessa, I experienced multiple issues on Tri-Sprintec. I really wish the company had not discontinued TriNessa and all the others. Tri-Sprintec is awful."

For Acne "I'm 22 years old and have been dealing with acne since about 13 years old. I've been on Tri-Sprintec for almost two years now, and what a difference. It has to be the best birth control I've ever been on. No gaining weight, mood changes, and my face stays clear even when it is that time of the month. Life changing."

For Birth Control "Been on this pill for 6 months now. Never had any problems like everyone else. I always had trouble with my periods; lasted 8 days, super heavy, sick when I started, and bad cramps. Plus my period lasts only 4 days. The only side effects I have are light cramps and not as hungry anymore. I weighed 160 lbs and now weigh 147 lbs. I love this pill and will continue taking it."

For Acne "PLEASE READ THIS: Tri-Sprintec will cause an initial breakout for the first 3-4 months. DON'T BE DISCOURAGED! After this period, your skin will clear up like magic! I'm 20 years old and have been on Tri-Sprintec on/off since I was 18. I've had severe acne since I was about 12/13 years old and have seen multiple dermatologists since then. Nothing worked until I went to my gyno to get on birth control, and she recommended Tri-Sprintec because it helped with acne. At first, I felt mild nausea and severe depression/mood swings/etc., but as time passed, this went away. Each time I got back on the medication, I would have a terrible breakout period, but it's completely worth it. This is a great pill, and I've never had problems with it."

For Birth Control "I took Tri-Sprintec for almost 3 years. Finally, last year, as a freshman in college, I quit taking it-realizing then only how much I hated it. Tri-Sprintec did reduce my cramps and bloating, but it made me very moody and irritable. I felt angry a lot and did not realize this until I quit taking the pill. I also gained about 8 pounds within the first month, and my appetite was way up, I was hungry all the time. To make matters worse, my hair started falling out, I was shedding a ton, my hair got a lot thinner. My breasts, which are already inconveniently large, got even bigger. I feel awful that I put up with this medicine for almost three years-I was naive and thought that these were unavoidable side effects. I would never recommend this pill."
