For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "This is the best birth control I've been on. No weight gain at all. And it doesn't make it hard to lose weight. My boobs have gotten bigger. My skin is so clear I get compliments on it (I used to have bad acne). And most importantly, no babies. I have sex with my SO without condoms, so I know it works. I know exactly when my period will come every month. That's a relief because I used to get my period anywhere from every 2 to 9 months apart. Only side effects are occasional nausea on the first week of each pack. And random headaches, but that's not often."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "So my gyno put me on this birth control pill for my irregular periods. I’m about to start month 3, and I’m impressed! At first, I was VERY scared to try the pill because of the negative reviews, but I gave it a shot and monitored my lifestyle closely. My first 3 weeks on the pill weren’t terrible, but I did experience a couple of negative but minor side effects. I had a couple of nights where I felt nauseous after taking the pill, and on a few occasions a headache, but nothing I couldn’t handle. I noticed I had some weight gain in my waistline, so I watched my food intake and upped my workouts slightly, and that took care of it. I’ve stayed at 133 lbs. I’m at month 3, and everything is totally normal! No depression, no insomnia, and no weight gain (thank goodness), and it’s cleared up my face! I personally love this pill, but I 100% agree that every woman may have different reactions. Also, it’s SO affordable, and that’s a big plus because I don’t have insurance."

For Birth Control "I just started this bc last week Tues, and I'm already feeling nauseous every so often. One day I wake up fine, the next I feel real sick. It has also caused me to have a loss of appetite. I've vomited twice because of this. Is anybody else experiencing this problem?"

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I'm 21 and got on Tri-Sprintec due to not having a period and PCOS. First day taking it, just felt mild nausea. Second day, I had body aches (as if I had a cold), weakness, bad nausea (but never threw up), headaches, and was not myself. Called to see if I could try a different birth control. The nurse just told me to stop taking it."

For Birth Control "I took Tri-Sprintec for a year, and though it was effective, the side effects were horrible. One being the fact that I naturally have a heavy and long 7-day period. There was no change in length nor flow of my cycle. The second and worst side effect would be that I was constantly nauseous even after the first three months. The pill changed my taste buds and made eating (something I love) hell!"

For Birth Control "I've been on it now for a month, and I've been very moody, angry, and just wanting to be by myself. I've gained 5 extra pounds, but as far as acne goes, it's been clear. I've been getting really bad headaches and wanting to throw up after I eat. It seems like I've gotten all the side effects."

For Birth Control "I started taking birth control at 18 years old, I am now 25. I was on Ortho-Tri-Cyclen for about 5 years, did great on it. Due to insurance, I had to switch to Trinessa, heavier periods and more mood swings followed. Now the pharmacy gave me Tri-Sprintec because they don't carry Trinessa. I am on day 8 and am getting more nauseous by the day. The pharmacist assured me that Trinessa and Tri-Sprintec are the exact same medicines, just made by two different manufacturers, but I have never felt so nauseous in my life. I know pregnancy is not even a consideration because my period just ended the week I started taking Tri-Sprintec. I will be switching back to Trinessa next month, no matter the cost! Hope this helps someone with a similar situation!"

For Birth Control "After having negative experiences with a monophasic pill, my doctor decided to put me on this tri-phasic pill, and my experience has been so much better. During the first month and a half, I would get spells of nausea about 2-3 hours after taking the pill, but these eventually went away. My breasts have not swelled as much on this pill, my acne has cleared up completely, and I even lost some of the weight I had gained on the last pill since Tri-Sprintec suppressed my appetite. I'm in my 7th month of taking Tri-Sprintec, and since taking it, I have had stronger emotional responses to things, but no irritability or moodiness. It has been a very effective birth control for me."

For Birth Control "I was on this BC for two and a half months before I decided to stop. This was not my first BC, and previously I had no issues with BC. The first month was okay, but around the second month, I started having terrible nausea at nighttime. To the point where I wasn't able to leave the house. I also had an extremely decreased libido. Went from having sex daily to maybe once a week. No change in weight or appetite other than not wanting to eat because of the nausea. I have now been off of Tri-Sprintec for about a week and haven't had any nighttime nausea at all. Every BC affects everyone differently, but this was not the one for me."

For Birth Control "I've been taking this birth control for about 3 months now, and my side effects are horrible! When taking it at night, it makes me feel a little nauseous, but I continued thinking it would pass. So then, after not liking the way it made me feel, I took it off and on (missed a couple of days). Well, now I have completely stopped because of the dizziness, pain in my lower right arm, nausea, and headaches. My dizziness came mostly during the night and would wake me from my sleep. This change from Tri Nessa to Tri Sprintec is the worst thing to happen to me! I have called my doctor for a change, I can't do this medication, and I've had to even stay home from work because of these symptoms."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I just finished my three packs. Horrible to say the least, but does its job of avoiding pregnancy. If I don't eat before taking the pill, I'm nauseous and vomiting for the next three days. The first month, my period was on time and regular. The second month, I had two periods and would bleed after sex. And this third month has been pretty much continuous bleeding to the point I don't have sex with my boyfriend at all. My periods used to be pretty light and last 4-5 days. Now they're extremely light to the point I hardly have to use a panty liner, and I mostly bleed when I use the bathroom, but it's all day, every day. I'm also moody, cranky, and tired all the time. I'm so done with this birth control and am changing. Do not recommend to anyone."

For Acne "Well, my experience with Tri-Sprintec: I’ve been on it for 3 weeks now, almost on my second pack. I switched from Tri-Previfem to this. This birth control gives me horrible side effects. The first two weeks, I was nauseous all the time and having headaches all the time. This birth control is stronger because I am now growing a linea nigra, believe that’s the name. But on the good side, my period is not heavy. I’ve been having unprotected sex, and so far, so good. Other than the side effects, it’s good. This, but I’m on birth control for my skin."

For Birth Control "Started the Tri-Sprintec pill about 3 months ago, and it’s one of my biggest regrets. I should’ve listened to the reviews. I experienced horrible anxiety, my depression has been at an extreme low, crazy nervous sweats, nausea, loss of appetite, and last but not least, the mood swings. I’m usually a pretty chill person, aka not usually moody. So this was different for me. These pills really messed me up. That’s my honest review."

For Acne "I was prescribed this Tri-Sprintec brand of birth control to control my acne about 18 months ago, but I also use it for pregnancy prevention. I can honestly say that my acne has improved, and I only experience minor breakouts during my menstrual cycle. However, in the last 2 months, I have been experiencing extreme nausea and have been throwing up at night or in the morning for no apparent reason. I discussed this with my doctor, and they seemed to believe it was unrelated to the birth control, but on the pill-free week, I did not have these symptoms, so I am suspicious but can’t confirm. These symptoms did not occur until about a year after taking this pill, which is why my doctor doubted the sudden new symptoms being related. Up until this point, I have been very pleased with this medication, and it has made my periods short and mild, which has been really nice, and I didn’t notice any weight gain or mood swings like I have when taking other medications."

For Birth Control "My insurance had made me switch from Tri-Nessa to Tri-Sprintec. At first, I had the typical transitional side effects, such as nausea, cramping, and irritability/emotional for the first few days. I continued to take it, and I noticed the symptoms got worse, I expected the emotional part to go away. I started having headaches and nausea/stomach pain every time I took it. Had continuous spotting. The days that I wasn't bleeding, I felt super bloated. In my first month, I missed three pills and had unprotected sex. Had a weird feeling in my stomach like I was super bloated, like I was full. Took a pregnancy test, it came back negative. About three months later, I was trying to have sex with my boyfriend, and it was super swollen with vaginal dryness, which I had never experienced before. It stayed swollen for the next few days until I called my doctor. The doctor told me my body must be super sensitive and to stop taking it. The side effects were really horrible for me, and I will not take it."

For Birth Control "It has been a very good birth control, it just made me very sick at first. It made me so sick that I actually lost weight. I constantly felt nauseous and it even made me throw up sometimes. The first few months, I had normal to light periods and my skin was glowing! Aside from how sick it made me, I definitely recommend this birth control."

For Birth Control "While Tri-Sprintec is effective at preventing an unwanted pregnancy, it has the worst side effects I have ever experienced on a birth control pill. I've only been on it for a little over a week and I have to stop using it. It has given me excruciating stomach aches, nausea, fatigue, migraines, and worst of all, it is aggravating my anxiety levels. I feel like I'm on the verge of having a major panic attack since I started taking this awful pill. Not only is my anxiety getting out of control, but I also feel depressed and uninterested in everything. All I want to do is sleep. I wish my stupid insurance covered Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo, that has been the best pill so far. I don't recommend Tri-Sprintec to anyone."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "In the beginning, it worked fine. I was switched to it because Ortho Tri-Cyclen was getting costly, and some of the other generics were making me constipated. Joy. Anyway, I have been on Tri-Sprintec for almost a year, and it doesn't regulate my periods. In fact, I seem to be getting periods whenever the heck it pleases, and they last forever. My normal cycle is 3 days, and I always knew by Thursday of the sugar pills that it was coming, but this pill just doesn't seem to be working. On top of that, I'm always nauseated, sometimes I get extremely depressed for no reason. I have panic attacks and just feel horrible at the most random times. I can't wait to switch."

For Birth Control "I started using Tri-Sprintec about 5 months ago. Let me tell you that it does its job, I have had unprotected sex multiple times, and so far, so good. I have noticed a couple of side effects, which are weight gain, nausea, and mood swings. My weight gain doesn't really bother me. I'm already a tad chubby, but what I like is that it is going to my hips! The biggest downfall is the nausea. Gosh, it really gets to me. It is always in the first week of the pill, I don't know what it is, but out of the 5 months, I've thrown up at least twice that I remember. After the first week, the nausea goes away and is not as strong. Finally, the mood swings. I am already emotional as it is, so this pill gets to me! At first, I would find myself getting upset more than usual and getting overworked more than usual. But now, my body is getting used to it, and it is not as bad. Every girl is different, so the side effects are not all going to be the same, but I hope my review helps somebody!!!"

For Birth Control "This is my third month, and it works great. Periods are more regular. I have super dry skin, but since I've taken this, it's been better. No acne. It's perfect. No weight gain, if anything, I've lost weight. Which isn't exactly good for me since usually I weigh 110, but I won't complain. The only problem I have with this is when I take it the first week, I throw up sometimes. But only when I don't eat after taking it. So I'd recommend having a snack if you start to feel nauseous, it's only happened to me twice, but it's just not a good feeling. Everyone is different, though, so don't let that scare you."

For Birth Control "I have been on the birth control pill for the majority of the past 20 years and have never had any issues until now. I have been on Trinessa for the past 5 or so. My pharmacy switched from Trinessa to Tri-Sprintec, and I do not like it at all. I have been extremely nauseous, crying for no apparent reason, and bickering with my boyfriend. I was fortunate enough to talk to my pharmacy today, and they are bringing in a case of Trinessa for me, and I couldn't be more thrilled. I understand they say there are the same ingredients in both, but my body believes otherwise."

For Birth Control "I agree with the other ladies when they say - try it for yourself. I have never tried any other contraceptive, but I've had a great experience with Tri-Sprintec. Of course, the first month or two I had the nausea, and I still wasn't 'regular,' but after those few months, it's been smooth sailing. I have been on it for around 1 1/2 years now, and it's been very successful. I haven't gotten pregnant, I know exactly when my cycle is going to start and end, and you cannot beat the price! I highly recommend it!"

For Birth Control "I've been on this pill for over three months, and Tri-Sprintec has good and bad aspects. The good thing is its contraceptive. The not-so-good things are: my period lasts about ten days; I have really bad mood swings before; it causes nausea; and lastly, my acne has gotten worse. I used Ortho Tri-Cyclen since I was nineteen, and it was absolutely wonderful."

For Birth Control "This pill wasn't bad at first, helped my periods, only bled through once, some headaches right before my period, helped the little bit of acne I had, and nauseous every now and then. I felt good after my body got used to it after 4 months. But now I am super anxious all the time, hard to sleep because of the anxiousness, very paranoid, and just ready to cry because I'm so overwhelmed it seems. Generally a happy person, but the anxiety it has caused me is awful. Going to try another pill, hopefully much better than being anxious."
