For Acne "I am nineteen, and I've been on this pill for almost two months now. I am being forced to give it another month, but I can't wait to switch! I have had horrible breakouts, weight gain, nausea, cramping even off my period, mood swings, depression...the list goes on. I have never felt more horrible. I will be trying Yasmin next. Also, if your skin isn't improving in three months, I would definitely switch birth controls."

For Birth Control "When I saw this website and read multiple experiences, I saw that I was and am not alone. I have a wonderful boyfriend who is still putting up with me and my god-awful self for a few months. Although I have only been on Tri-Sprintec for a week, it is one of the hardest weeks of my life. I feel like I have every side effect. For example, I am constantly nauseated and always have a headache. In addition, I literally cry for no reason. My hair is shedding more than it ever has before, and my outlook on life has changed from optimistic to pessimistic."

For Birth Control "I was automatically switched to Tri-Sprintec as the new preferred generic at my pharmacy (I was taking Trinessa). I have never had such awful migraines or nausea in my life. My fiancé finally pushed me to call the pharmacy and get my old pill back. It's been a huge fiasco, but I'd rather be off the pill than take Tri-Sprintec any longer."

For Acne "So far, I've taken this pill for a few days... I've taken six pills, and every night, I notice my face getting a little bit clearer. Even my acne scars seem to be going away! I've had acne since I was 8, and I'm 18 now, so I'm very excited to notice the difference! I have been having a lot of nausea, and I even had to call into work because I woke up one morning and started dry heaving... I thought I must have caught a stomach bug, but now I'm pretty sure it was the pills. The nausea is starting to go away, and I am able to eat again."

For Acne "I experienced a lot of nausea if I don't take this at 10 PM. If I take it at 10 PM, I am good as I sleep through all the nausea and stuff. My skin is noticeably clearer from acne. All the doxycycline and other cycline antibiotics weren't this good for my skin."

For Acne "For the purpose of acne, this medicine helped me a lot! But within two months of starting it, I gained 10 pounds. I exercise 4-5 times a week and eat well and hadn't made any changes that would cause weight gain. Nothing I did would get rid of the weight gained, especially around my hips and thighs. It took me a year to realize that this was the problem. I'm 17 now and did swimming in high school and usually lose at least 5-10 pounds each season, but this year I stayed at a constant 140. Because of this, I'm switching. I also got extreme nausea, if I didn't eat enough food before taking it, or if I took it more than 30 minutes after eating, I would get intense nausea, dry heave twice, and lose my appetite."

For Birth Control "When I was on this, I was pretty moody and I had no appetite for anything. I always get so angry and sad. Another thing was I always get nausea and I wouldn't eat anything. I lost a lot of weight on this. I was on it for a month, and I lost about 8 lbs. I am now on Tri-Nessa, and so far it's okay."

For Birth Control "I've only been on Tri-Sprintec for a month, and I'm already having severe side effects. Nausea, headaches, acne worse than I've ever had in my life, and the worst, severe anxiety and depression. The second week, I experienced suicidal intrusive thoughts that caused me to go into panic attacks. The only upside for me was that it helped my heavy flow and shortened my period from 6 or 7 days to 4 days. I would much rather live with a long, heavy period than what I went through for a week straight."

For Birth Control "I've been taking Tri-Sprintec for 2 weeks now. I've lost my appetite, I've had bloating, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and I'm very moody. I thought I just ate something bad, but after reading the reviews from other girls, I think it's the birth control and I think I'm going to stop taking this birth control."

For Birth Control "This is the worst medication I have ever taken. I have bled for 3 months straight, have been nauseous EVERY SINGLE DAY, have had the worst mood swings that it almost split up my and my fiancé, and to beat it all, I haven’t had a sex drive because I can't have sex because of bleeding for 3 months!!! Literally, I have gone through about 5 boxes of tampons (the big kind too). Don’t try it. It’s not worth the complete hell."

For Birth Control "I've been on Tri-Sprintec for 3 months now and noticed sickness and nausea the first week of taking these pills. Then it got better, but I still feel a little sick sometimes in the morning. I never had bad acne, but I did notice it getting better after taking these pills. I noticed I went from barely a 32C cup to a full 34C. During my period, my breasts get slightly smaller, then go back to normal when it's over. I used to have a 6-12 day period, now it only lasts 4 days. I am 122 pounds and maybe gained 4 pounds when taking these pills. I'm 18, and these are the first pills I tried, but I will be getting another kind of birth control in a few months to have fewer side effects. Otherwise, it's pretty good."

For Birth Control "I got on this med due to breakthrough bleeding and periods on my last med (Ortho-Tri-Cyclen). So far, I've had no issues with bleeding. But I've been nauseous every time I take it, with a headache almost daily, more depressed and anxious. I feel angry a lot of the time, and my sex drive is almost completely gone. I get shooting pains through my right ovary and recently took a trip to the ER due to unbearable tearing pains in my ovaries. Needless to say, I'm not going to continue this med. Maybe it's just me, but I wouldn't suggest this one if you don't want to vomit almost daily."

For Birth Control "This pill works in pregnancy prevention. However, if you are walking in a wedding as a matron of honor and try to lose weight for the event well over six months in advance, then read on. You have next to no chance of losing even a few pounds while on this pill. You will become tired quickly, feel like vomiting, nauseous, and go through a number of mood swings throughout the day. I have tried everything to lose weight and have only gained weight. I am already overweight, so I am depressed about this."

For Birth Control "The first three days of the first couple of months on Tri-Sprintec are a bit weird. Mood swings and nausea, but then your body quickly adjusts. My period comes around the same time every month, but I am heavier the first day. I’ve gained a little bit of weight, but nothing too major. Also, sex drive is the same, but it can get a little dry down there. Overall, I have no major complaints with it, and I’ve been on for 8 months."

For Acne "I've been taking Tri-Sprintec for 6 or 7 months. I started it with hopes of it getting rid of my moderate acne. I rarely got cystic acne, but my face ALWAYS had zits, and I would break out around my period and even worse when I was stressed. Now I still have acne, but it isn't nearly as bad as it was before; I also don't notice much of a change in my skin when I get stressed. So it didn't exactly work how I hoped it would, but it IS helping some. The first month that I started Tri-Sprintec was pretty awful. I was nauseous for four weeks straight - from the time I woke up to the time I went to sleep. I've gained a little bit (5 lbs) of weight and noticed that my breasts have grown (or are always swollen)."

For Birth Control "I am new to the birth control, but I'm 18 years old and decided to give it a try. I have pretty bad acne, and I heard that this pill could help. For the first two weeks, my acne was a lot worse, but I'm on the third week now, and it's all cleared up now. I take the pill at night so I don't get tired during the day, and it helps me sleep like a baby! I didn't have any nausea or mood swings, although a few times I have gotten more aggravated at little things people do. I was super horny the first week, but that has dialed down a little bit, but not enough that I have no sex drive. I have been a little bloated, but I haven't gained weight. I wish that my breasts would grow more than they have. All in all, a great pill for me."

For Birth Control "I have just recently started taking the birth control Tri-Sprintec. I'm going for my 3rd week on it, and so far, I love it. I haven't had any change of mood, nausea, or spotting. I haven't had any sexual relations yet while I've been on it, so I can't really say how good it works at keeping me not pregnant. I will definitely be doing an update. But so far, I love, love, love it."

For Endometriosis "I've tried many methods to reduce pain and period flow for endometriosis, and Tri-Sprintec was the only thing that worked. Yeah, you get nausea, but that's common with birth control. I've been using it altogether for 4 years. I have no children and no pain in my pelvis while using it. Was the best one for me."

For Birth Control "Was prescribed Tri-Sprintec to treat my PCOS by my endocrinologist. I used to take Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo, with no side effects, but unfortunately, the company discontinued it. The first night I took Tri-Sprintec at 6:30 pm after I ate dinner. I felt fine up until about 10:30 pm when I noticed I started to feel kind of anxious for no reason and also had an odd feeling in my chest. I went to bed and then woke up at about 4:30 am with terrible nausea, vomited three times, was shaky, and feverish feeling. Most of the morning I felt nauseous, but it did go away by afternoon. I’m not going to continue taking this birth control because of the way my body responded after just one pill. I also had a similar experience with Tri-Lo Marzia last summer, but not quite as bad. I was able to take that one for 3 months before discontinuing it because of nausea. Going to call my doctor in hopes that she will be able to suggest something else with fewer side effects."

For Birth Control "Tri-Sprintec was the worst birth control I have ever used. I gained weight, felt tired all the time, became super nauseous all the time, and had horrible headaches. It causes stomach discomfort and gas. I noticed a huge change and felt better even after stopping in the middle of the pack. I took it for about six months before I decided I had had enough with the horrible side effects that came with it. I also noticed my heart racing at night. My headaches were so bad I couldn’t sleep at night."

For Birth Control "In my college days, I was on Ortho-Tri-Cyclen for about 4-5 years with no problems. I'm now in my early thirties and decided to get on birth control again. I figured that the generic, Tri-Sprintec would be exactly the same, but I was wrong. About 2-3 days after starting Tri-Sprintec, I began to get nauseous, which eventually turned into throwing up 4-5 times a day and couldn't keep down food or water. There was no other logical reason for this sudden sickness. I got off the drug right away because I couldn't miss any more work. I also ended up getting a terrible migraine that lasted for two days. A full 24 hours after getting off the pill, I began to finally feel better. After taking Ortho-Tri-Cyclen in the past, I figured Tri-Sprintec would be the same, but it was not. I do not recommend Tri-Sprintec to anyone!"

For Birth Control "Currently in the middle of my first week of taking Tri-Sprintec. I started taking it on the first day of my period, and it is now the 4th day, and my period is basically done. I have had no bad side effects whatsoever; the only one is a very mild nausea that is manageable. I also had NO cramps during my period. Definitely recommend!"

For Acne "I'm 15, and I started taking Tri-Sprintec about 8 days ago to help with my acne and horrible periods. I have been reading all of the reviews, and so far, I don't think it is as bad. Yes, I have breast tenderness, nausea, and intense stomach pains, but it's nothing I can't handle. Others say those symptoms go away after a few packets, and I'm willing to go through with it."

For Acne "I've been on the pill for a short amount of time, and I'm already thinking of changing it. I've been nauseous, having horrible cramps, extreme appetite (which will probably lead to weight gain), headaches, and the WORST acne! I'm someone who has been struggling with acne, but my acne is worse than ever! It's everywhere too! Do not recommend."

For Birth Control "I'm new to the whole birth control thing. My first try was Seasonique, it was perfect until I got migraines out of this world after two months of taking it. I told my doctor, and she told me to give Tri-Sprintec a try. On this pill, you absolutely must eat before you take it, with Seasonique, I wasn't used to that, so I had to get into the habit of eating in the morning before I take my pills. Other than nausea and vomiting when I first started, I have no complaints. There are occasional cramps and sore breasts, but that wasn't really a bother to me."
