For Birth Control "I started using Tri-Sprintec 3 months ago. Within the first week, I noticed that my face began to break out more than usual. I am now using medicated face wash to decrease the breakouts, so I can't tell if they would still be as bad after the first month. I have also gained a noticeable amount of weight since starting the pill. I eat relatively healthy, and I work out 4-6 times a week. However, I feel extremely bloated, as if I have a whole other layer of skin on. The weight gain and the inability to lose it has been unbearable, which is why I'm switching to a lower dosage pill. Overall, Tri-Sprintec wasn't all that bad - no breakthrough bleeding, no moodiness, no nausea, etc. The only complaint is that it did make me gain weight quickly."

For Birth Control "I've been on this pill for about 2 years, it raised my blood pressure, I gained about 20 pounds, and my acne got slightly worse. I don't know why it took me so long to get off of it, but I'm so happy I did."

For Acne "I broke out on this pill for 4 months straight. My acne was way worse than how it was before I started the birth control pill. I got the acne so horribly the first week of starting the birth control. And then, I would get at least two pimples a day; on my cheeks and jaw. The pimples were really big, and they would hurt so badly. Once the pimples went down, it left my face with horrible acne scars that I've been trying to clear up for the past month. The pimples would only clear up around my placebo pill week. So when I was on my monthly cycle, my face was beautiful and clear. It's been a month without the Tri-Sprintec, and my skin has cleared up tremendously. I am back confident!!!"

For Birth Control "I have been on Sprintec since I was 16 and am now 18. Originally, when I started taking Tri-Sprintec, I noticed myself being hungry and eating a lot of food in the middle of the night. I've always been super thin, and I still am because it only made me gain weight during the first six months of taking it. Then I worked out and burned it all off! I no longer gain weight, and I've had severe acne all my life since I was in elementary school, and now I don't have a single pimple on my body!!!! I take it every morning consistently, and it's been working great for me! I have unprotected sex with my boyfriend of a few years, and it has protected me from getting pregnant. I highly recommend Tri-Sprintec because symptoms during the first few months are normal."

For Birth Control "I have been taking Tri-Sprintec for almost a year now. At first, I was perfectly fine with this birth control, but now I suffer from random headaches, my acne is worse, I tend to cry for no reason, especially at night before bed, and I'm always in a bad mood. I have noticed within this past month I don't really enjoy sex anymore, and it's hard for me to get wet. I have developed hypertension, and I missed a pill the other day. I was in my 3rd week, and I've missed a pill before and been fine, but when the bleeding first started it lasted 7 days and I wrote it off as an early period because I missed a pill. But 3 days later, the bleeding returned and hasn't yet stopped. Sunday I start a new BC, and hopefully, all of these symptoms go away."

For Birth Control "I've been on this pill for just over 2 weeks now, and I've only experienced some side effects. The little acne I did have has been reduced, and in the first week, I experienced slight breast tenderness for like 2 or 3 days, but it wasn't bad at all. Now that I think about it, I have become a little more sensitive to certain things my boyfriend says, but nothing major that's messing up our relationship or anything. Or it might be caused by his innocent teasing getting to me after a while. But I think this birth control pill is very good for me, and I hope you all have a positive experience with this like I do."

For Acne "I’ve taken this before and haven’t noticed any side effects, but starting again with Sprintec these last 4 months, I’ve gained weight, have had very unusual depression and anxiety, and my acne has gotten so bad, when it has never been that way. This definitely is not for everyone, the cystic acne makes me not want to show my face, it’s that bad, but I will say I’m not pregnant, so there’s that."

For Acne "Made my acne 10 times worse!!!! But I've only been on it for 2 weeks and 2 days. I saw that other people's acne got better within 3-4 months, so I'll be patient. I take my pill at 10:15 every night. No nausea or throwing up. I think it's better to take your pill at night because I usually get sick from simply taking vitamins in the morning. No bleeding or spotting. No cramps. Slightly cranky but nothing my bf can't handle. Lol. My breasts haven't gotten larger, but I have noticed they feel more heavy or full. No breast tenderness though."

For Birth Control "I was originally on Junel, and my Dr. upped my dosage due to hot flashes, and my body did not react well, so I was switched to Tri-Sprintec. This is my second week in, and the only side effect I have is horrible acne. I’ve never really had acne, and this is quite bothersome. I’m 35, looking like I just turned 13 with pimples horrible."

For Birth Control "Started this a few months ago, and the first month, I had a 4-week-long period, which was not fun, however, I've had no weight gain whatsoever, increased sex drive, and less acne! I really like this birth control, and now my periods are completely regular after that terrible first month."

For Acne "I primarily took this to control my periods, so I don't have to stress out even more on finals week. I have no mood swings, but I do get more nauseous than usual. I also got my cystic acne back (6 simples vs. 3 tiny usual pimples). I have oily skin and realize that a lot of it has to do with that and not cleaning my face properly. However, I realize that minocycline and doxycycline have worked wonders with my acne in the past. Though they are not birth control, I would consider those instead for those of you interested in clearing up your skin best."

For Acne "To say it’s a disaster is an understatement. I’ve used TriNessaLo for a year, which was fantastic until I started going to a different pharmacy that only had TriSprintecLo. To be clear, I’ve never used this for actual contraceptive purposes (virgin), and it’s been strictly for my horrible cramps and heavy flow, and getting rid of acne was a plus. This is my third week on TriSprintecLo, and between waking up yesterday and going to bed, I counted 16 new pimples between my face, neck, and back! Haven’t had this since middle school. I’m throwing out the pack today, and I suggest you do the same."

For Birth Control "This made my usually spot-on 28-day cycle, 6-day bleed turn into a complete mess. I got my period when I was 11, and it took about a year for them to regulate. Since then, I have only ever been 1-2 days late, and I never miss a period. But now, I never know what my period is doing. It can range between 30-38 days between my periods, and when I do finally get them, I bleed from 10-16 days. I also notice that it makes my acne worse, so that’s awful. I’m done taking this stuff."

For Birth Control "I started taking Tri-Sprintec about 3-4 months ago, at first, things were fine, and it worked great. Lately, I’ve been noticing some changes, though. For starters, I have developed some pretty bad acne, and before taking this pill, I have always had clear skin with occasional breakouts here and there. I also noticed that I get very nauseous and insanely bad headaches about an hour or so after taking my pill in the morning, sometimes so bad that I actually throw up. Another thing I noticed is that since being on this pill, I have become VERY emotional and snappy at times. Sometimes, I get so upset that I don’t want to move out of bed, which has NEVER been an issue for me before. I never used to have these kinds of mood swings before. I’m scheduling an appointment with my doctor to find a new birth control because even though this one gets the job done, it’s not worth always feeling like rubbish."

For Birth Control "I've used Tri-Cyclen for over 3 years with absolutely no issues. I would get a few pimples a month, no big deal. I've always had acne-prone skin. I've dealt with anxiety issues and depression a few years ago, but I haven't had any issues with it since. So my pharmacist tells me they no longer carry Tri-Cyclen and they only have Tri-Sprintec. Let me tell you, I am MAD. I had absolutely no warning it was changing and that it would be the exact same. That was a huge lie. I have been taking it for a whole month now, and I get deep cystic pimples every day on my cheeks. And my anxiety and depression have come back so hard I don't even want to leave my house. Seriously, this is the worst thing that could have ever happened. Please, for the love of God, do NOT TAKE THIS. Throwing it in the trash."

For Birth Control "This is my second birth control. I was on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo for a year, and I was extremely emotional, so I switched. The first few weeks on this pill, I had terrible acne! Not just on my face, but my back and chest, and I feel huge. I don't even want to get ready and do anything anymore. All I've done since taking it was sleep. I'm calling my doctor and switching ASAP."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I was put on Tri-Sprintec when I started getting my periods every two weeks and was on it for three months. It fixed my period problem, but I had never had a problem with acne until starting this. My acne got so much worse and would clear up instantly once I started the sugar pills. I went from a D to a DD, which is kind of annoying, but I didn't gain much weight, at least. The worst part, however, was the tenderness in my breasts, it was horrible. Painful to the touch, running or going to the gym was horribly uncomfortable. Just like the acne, during the fourth week on sugar pills, the pain disappeared only to return again with a new pack."

For Acne "I was on Ortho Tri-Cyclen for 5 years before switching healthcare providers. They were only available to get me Tri Lo Sprintec and told me it was basically the same. IT'S NOT. I started breaking out TERRIBLY weeks before my period. Three days into the pill after the placebo (of which time my breakouts clear totally!), I start breaking out again. Not only that, but BLEEDING is TERRIBLE. I bleed for 3 weeks out of the month on this! I never had that problem on Ortho! Then they put me on YAZ to control the breakouts, and I started getting recurring yeast infections starting the same day/pill of each month that would last over a WEEK until I started the placebos and had my period. I dealt with that for 3 months and couldn’t take it, so I went back on Tri Lo and now bleeding and acne again. My doctor told me Ortho and Tri Lo are “similar,” but Tri Lo is generic and has different things added to it! I recommend going to PP and getting Ortho if your provider does not have it but it works for you."

For Birth Control "I have been using Tri-Sprintec for a few months. Before that, I was on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo. I used Ortho for a few years but had to change due to switching insurance companies. I was a little bit hesitant to use Tri-Sprintec at first due to the previous reviews that I read about. My experience has been very good. I haven't had any breakouts, weight gain, or emotional problems. I have had an increase in breast size and tenderness, but the tenderness wasn't too uncomfortable. Usually, when I switch birth control, I have a cycle for at least a month and a half, but not this time around. I had no breakthrough bleeding. I have had light and regular cycles, which is the purpose of me being on birth control. I would definitely recommend Tri-Sprintec."

For Birth Control "I have been taking this pill for about three weeks now, and even though I'm not trying it out for birth control, my aunt put me on it. But it's better to be safe than sorry. However, my acne (I didn't really have much before) but the little I did have is gone, my face kind of has a glow to it. I'd say this is a pretty good pill."

For Birth Control "Tri-Sprintec has been a nightmare for me! It made me extremely moody and irritable to the point where no one wanted to be around me. It gave me insane, crazy headaches, and I’ve never suffered from any kind of migraine before in my life. It claims to help acne but made my moderate acne as bad as it’s ever been. And lastly, it caused me to gain weight and eat ungodly amounts of food as if I were always hungry. I do NOT recommend this form of birth control!!"

For Birth Control "I have been on Tri-Sprintec for about a year now. The only positive side effects of this pill are that I have almost no acne now, and my breasts have grown a lot, but I have gained 20 pounds within the last year, and I'm wondering if it has anything to do with this pill. I have a lot more mood swings and am usually depressed and feel terrible about myself."

For Birth Control "Good birth control, but I gained about 10-15 lbs in two months from it, with regular exercise, etc. Very little acne, better than the Trinessa and Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo I was on. Extremely light periods."
