For Birth Control "So, I started taking this Tri-Estarylla back in December. The first month I didn't notice anything different, and I didn't expect to because I just started taking it, so the first month was fine, nothing crazy. The second month in, I had severe mood changes (angry, upset, raged) for weeks. Then the acne really started coming in, I always struggled with cystic acne and the pain of it, this birth control had it come in full swing for weeks. It sucked, but it wasn't anything I was concerned about. I dealt with it, and thankfully, it cleared up. Then the spotting happened. When I say I spotted for a literally whole month, I mean it. It was very uncomfortable and awkward at the time. I've never been on another birth control, so this was my first one. I was panicked and disheartened the whole second month. I decided to stay on it for a third month because that's when the BC should be in full swing. And I am so glad I did. I'm speaking only for myself, but my acne cleared up almost 90%. I have no more spotting."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "Just awful! Was switched to this because the pharmacy didn't want to special order my regular BC, Tri-Previfem. Never ever had an issue with Tri-Previfem. This has made me bleed more than I ever did without birth control! Plus, I have fibromyalgia, and this sent me in a tailspin of awful pain and flare-ups. So, do not take if you already have inflammation issues. Also aggravated my lymphedema really bad. I don't care what the package says, it's not the same dosage or formulation. I've taken birth control all my life, and NEVER did I have issues until this came along. Stay away from it!"

For Birth Control "These Tri-Estarylla are terrible birth control pills. I had to switch to these because my insurance changed and covered them and not my old ones. Within a year, I gained 15 pounds, I look bloated and not like myself. I haven’t changed my diet or lifestyle in any way. I’ve also been suffering crippling anxiety. Just got off them 2 weeks ago and feel so much better. Beware of this one!!!! I regret ever getting on them without prior research."

For Birth Control "It made me cry a lot, also made me so mad at my bf when he had not done anything bad to me. I would sit in my room so quiet, felt like people were screaming at me. Made me break up with my boyfriend because I hit him for nothing."

For Birth Control "Literally had to stop taking this after 5 days because I couldn’t stop throwing up. I knew I had to wait a little for my body to adjust to it, but I can’t do the constant vomiting and nausea."

For Birth Control "I had the worst experience with this birth control. There were times when I had two periods in one month, times that I bled through my pants and pads. It also made me have mood swings."

For Birth Control "I noticed right away I was exhausted, but didn't think anything of it. I have always been emotional, so it didn't seem off that I randomly started crying. Once I hit 4 months, I thought I burned my tongue. Went to the doctor to make sure it was nothing like strep throat or anything. My tongue swelled to where I couldn't talk or eat, and it lasted about a week. Then this month, the first week on the new pack, I had the same problem. I know I haven't burned my tongue as I have been too paranoid to eat anything hot. So I called the doctor's office and was told it's odd, but it can happen. So I will be picking up a new prescription today. Meanwhile, I still have to wait for the swelling to go down."
