For Ovarian Cysts "I started Sprintec in Dec 2020, and it is March 1st tomorrow, and all I can say is that my period went from being 2 weeks long and a mess to being only about 4 days long and light the past 2 months. My mood seems better. I was having horrible mood swings due to PCOS, and in the last 2 months, I've been calm and not stressed like before. I've maintained the same weight as when I started in Dec, which is approx. 185 lbs. (No weight gain). I don't suffer from sore boobs or bloating. My face cleared up a little bit. My appetite is fine. So I personally have no complaints, I guess."

For Endometriosis "Sprintec, by far, is the best birth control I’ve ever been on. Started on Microgestin, and by the time I reached 30, is when I started having hormonal issues and was eventually diagnosed with endometriosis. I had surgery performed, and my doctor encouraged me to get back on birth control to keep my hormones regulated, so naturally, I went back to Microgestin. This time, however, it didn’t help like it used to. Estrogen levels remained low, bad cramping, and still no periods, so I went the DIM route. That did nothing, so I decided to chance it and try Sprintec after reading info and reviews, and I gotta say after a few months, my body feels like it did 10 years ago. My hormone levels are even, and I actually welcome the breast soreness because that’s when I know I have estrogen again! It has given me a regular period, and my energy and appetite feel great. I’m glad I trusted my gut and decided to try this brand, because after years of trial and error, I’ve finally found the right birth control."

For Birth Control "I would not recommend this birth control to anyone. I just finished my second pack and ended up in the emergency room after bleeding for 8 days straight with the heaviest period of my life. I am used to heavy periods because I have endometriosis, but this was the worst, along with very painful cramps. I ended up with a huge cyst on my left ovary. Other side effects I have had are terrible anxiety and depression. The first month, I was so sick to my stomach and could hardly eat. My breasts have been swollen and so sore the last two months, worse than both my pregnancies. The worst symptom is I have been so irritable and hateful, which is not me at all. I just want to feel like myself again!"

For Birth Control "I am so happy with Sprintec. I had a horrible experience with Lo Loestrin Fe. I changed doctors, and he prescribed Sprintec. So far, no side effects. I've only noticed some breast tenderness and mild acne. It's working great for me!"

For Birth Control "I have been on Sprintec for a year now. It is good in that it's only $9, it has prevented pregnancy, and periods are only a few days. Every time I start a new pack (after period), I get severely nauseated for several days, so I am finally going to go back to the doctor and try something different. During certain times, I have very swollen and tender breasts, but that's not too awful to bear."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I'm on my 3rd month, and I ONLY take this for regulating my period and the symptoms of it. The first month, my breasts hurt terribly. I had to give up running for a while because I could not handle it. That's been the only major side effect I've had besides I get more breakouts. (And they were hardly noticeable) My periods are lighter, cramps are lighter. I used to cramp 4 days before and then during half the period duration. I just cramp maybe the first 1 or 2 days of the period now. Weight has only decreased, no increased appetite. I'm very happy with it so far! ☺"

For Birth Control "Sprintec did its job of preventing pregnancy and had the added benefit of clearing my skin. For the 3 months I was on it, however, I experienced a 10 lb weight gain (I’ve had no issues keeping weight off in the past, but even with intense exercise every other day and calorie counting on the pill, my weight gradually rose without drastic lifestyle changes). I also experienced the worst mood swings of my life (anger, irritation) and had really dark thoughts almost every time I restarted the pills for the month and came off of them for my period week. My breasts were excruciatingly tender (even laying on my back hurt them) for the first 2 months, though this stopped during my 3rd month. My libido was non-existent within the first month of starting the pill. Since going off of the pills for good, I’ve lost 9 lbs in 2 weeks, which makes me think that most of the weight was water retention. My mood is back to normal, and my libido has come back, though so has my acne."

For Birth Control "Sprintec did the job of preventing pregnancy, but the side effects are not worth it. I have experienced extreme mood swings, some of the worst depression of my life, anxiety, paranoia (“Do my friends hate me?”), and I have gained 13 pounds in 4 months. Plus, my acne has gone back to pre-teen-level bad, including on my back, shoulders, and chest. And I never actually know when my period will start. Sometimes it’s a week before the placebo week (a 14+ day period!), sometimes it’s a day or two after (pregnancy scare). I also had my first ever yeast infection after antibiotics while on this pill, which I saw mentioned in another review. My boobs did get bigger, but they are often sore. My waist got bigger too! :( The only reason I didn’t give this 1/10 is because it did prevent pregnancy. (Though I’m on the second day of the placebo right now and have not started my period, so we’ll see.) But I will be stopping Sprintec immediately and finding a different pill."

For Ovarian Cysts "The only reason I gave this birth control a 2 was because it made my periods last two days, and my acne wasn't as bad. That's the only good thing I have to say about it. It has my anxiety come back, severe nausea, bad acid reflux, migraines, mood swings, insomnia, depression at times, and extremely tender breasts. It's hard to go off someone else's experiences because everyone is different."

For Ovarian Cysts "I was diagnosed with PCOS about 6 months ago. My periods were every other month for a month straight, consistently heavy. I started off with Estraylla/Sprintec, and it was horrible the first month. I had breast tenderness that made it hard to wear a bra or even do activities that caused my breasts to move. The cramps and back pain were unbearable, none of which I had prior to starting birth control. I had migraines, and I was always sleepy. Then my period came and lasted for 36 days. After that, though, everything has calmed down, my period is regular and lasts 5 days max and light."

For Birth Control "I started this pill in June 2016, it's the first birth control I ever tried. At first, I spotted a lot, and my boobs would always hurt. Now I get my period twice a month sometimes. My period stays irregular, so I always stress about being pregnant. I'm obviously not, but the pill definitely causes a lot of my anxiety, and I'm almost on it for a year, and my period is still always changing, and I still have side effects. I take the pill at the same time every day, and I have never missed one pill."

For Ovarian Cysts "I switched to Sprintec after being on Minastrin for about three months - with Minastrin, I was a moody mess and spotted non-stop. Sprintec has been the answer to my birth control prayers! I'm about to start my third month on it and have not had any crazy symptoms. I'd say that my boobs do get sore during the first week of active pills, but it's not unbearable. My cramps on this pill are a dull ache, and my periods are very light. I've actually lost weight, but I don't think that's because of the pill (I've been exercising frequently). I took a pill a few years ago that made me gain weight even though I was working out, so this is a major improvement in my eyes!"

For Birth Control "This is my first time taking birth control. The first couple of days, I was having bad diarrhea and stomach problems, but they subsided. My boobs have been very sore and tender, but it’s gotten better. My skin wasn’t too bad before, but I'd occasionally get cysts. I’ve been on the pill for almost a month, and so far I haven’t gotten any large pimples, but I am experiencing small breakouts lately. But that could be because I was nearing my period. I’m going to keep taking it because it’s supposed to help your skin around 2-3 months in! It is very effective! My boyfriend and I had lots of unprotected sex and no baby! I recommend this pill and stick with it!"

For Birth Control "My doctor put me on Sprintec to regulate me. I have been on it the last year and a half. My side effects were tender breasts and mild cramps the week leading up to my period, and then I'd get a headache on the day of my period, which was okay with me as it warned me it was coming. The plus side for me on this pill is my mood swings are gone. It really balances me out. Recently, I went to the doctor for a check-up, and she suggested a new birth control pill that will allow me to only have 2-day periods versus the 4-day ones I have with Sprintec, but also, I wouldn't get the sore breasts, etc., plus it is a lower dose. A week and a half into it, I was mad at the world and depressed. I am now back on Sprintec. I'd take sore boobs and a headache over mood swings any day!"

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "Just started it a month ago, so not in my system long, but I have really sore breasts and enlargement. I have had breakthrough spotting the entire time, and the fourth week period came, but lighter than usual. Loss of appetite, extreme. I’m never hungry. It’s kind of scary how much I don’t eat, and really bloated in the afternoon or night."

For Birth Control "This pill, man. I have been taking Sprintec since December after being on LoLoestrin for about a year. I'm going to start with the pros: I have regular periods, and this is super cost-effective. That being said, I can't handle the anxiety triggered by this medication anymore. Initially, I was feeling nauseated/dizzy, and the breast tenderness was horrible for the first month and a half. I decided to give this pill a fighting chance and thug it out for three or so months. Having always suffered from some sort of anxiety, I tried to deal with the intensifying of my panic attacks as my body became accustomed to this medication, but so far the symptoms seem to be getting worse instead of better. I'm not saying I'm unable to function, but when I start having palpitations at a grocery store because it's crowded on a weekend, I know something isn't normal. Everything else about this pill was fine, I didn't gain weight or get any acne, it just doesn't agree with my body chemistry."

For Birth Control "I will shortly finish my first pack of Sprintec and must say that this has been the best birth control I've yet to be on. No issues with sex drive, tiredness, weight gain other than my breasts, which have become a bit larger; however, really tender, but I don't mind and/or complain. My skin did break out at first but is slowly clearing up, and I didn't have much of an appetite 2 to 3 days in, that too is better. Other than the few minor changes, I will continue to use Sprintec!"

For Ovarian Cysts "My first pack, it's been fine for me. I usually experience a bit of nausea with birth control pills, and this one wasn't too bad at all! Breasts are pretty tender and seem to have grown a bit. I love that it's so cheap and does what it's intended to do. Before this, my insurance wouldn't cover birth control, so to me, this is a godsend."

For Birth Control "I've been on Sprintec for 8 months now, and I have few complaints. It has made my unpredictable periods predictable, they're shorter, less painful, and much lighter. I have very few complaints since it has done nothing to lower my sex drive or put me through any pain. The only thing is that I'll sometimes have to deal with minor side effects, including breast tenderness, but this is rare and never happens two months in a row. Overall, the benefits outweigh the side effects, and I am very happy with this pill."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "So I started Sprintec the second day of my period (the first day was mainly just spotting, and the second day was a Sunday). Anyways, I’ve only been taking it about 12 days now, and I’m exhausted. All the time. I mean I’m usually constantly tired, but I need a nap after going up the stairs. I also have been having brown bleeding for a week after my period. So it’s like I’ve been on my period two weeks. I usually have good skin, and now my face is starting to break out all over. My boobs are sore, but they're enhancing, so I’m taking that as a “beauty is pain.” Lol. I stay bloated a lot. I'm not too sure how to feel about it, honestly."

For Birth Control "I just started on this a week or two ago and haven't had sex since, so I don't know its effectiveness, but I have experienced side effects. The entire first week, I was nauseous for hours starting about four hours after I took it. I only puked once, though. Also, I have a loss of appetite. I'm usually very hungry all day, but since I started, I'm never hungry. I also experienced breast tenderness and sensitivity, which is not welcome since I sleep on my stomach. The nausea has gone away for the most part, but that may be due to lack of eating."

For Birth Control "I've been using Sprintec for over a year now, and I honestly don't have too many complaints. For the first month, my breasts were tender, but it went away. My period comes exactly at the same time and day of the month. I don't usually miss a pill, but the few times I did, I ended up getting pretty sick at night for around 6 hours. I would throw up and have stomach pains; obviously, this could have been avoided. My sex drive has not decreased; if anything, it increased. I didn't have any skin breakout issues that I know were caused by Sprintec; my face is usually clear with the seldom pimple or two. It seems to be pretty effective in preventing pregnancy. I didn't experience any unusual mood swings or weight gain. Overall, I would recommend it."

For Birth Control "I used Sprintec for about a year and a half, and I gained an immense amount of weight. Side effects would include sore breasts and nausea if I had to start over because I forgot. The week I stopped taking Sprintec, I lost about 5 lb, and it's been about a year since I've been off Sprintec, and without even trying, I lost 45 pounds. I also had very bad mood swings and became very emotional. On the good side, my acne cleared up, and my period was light and only lasted 4-5 days."
