For Birth Control "This stuff is terrible. My pharmacy keeps switching me back and forth between Mili and Estarylla and Mononessa, and every time I take Mili, I break out into horrible acne, my anxiety escalates significantly, and I have crazy mood swings. Worst birth control I’ve ever taken! This stuff should be discontinued."

For Birth Control "I've been seeing mostly negative comments. I've been taking this BC since March for my irregular periods. It has helped tremendously. I haven't noticed any side effects. This is the most regular my period has been in a while. I have missed taking it a couple of days due to my insurance canceling my request fill, and I have yet to get sick or have any other side effects that I've seen people list. I guess I got lucky."

For Birth Control "Well, I have been on Mili for more than a year, close to 2 years. I weighed 169 at one point and found out my ovaries were shutting down due to PCOS. So, I talked to my GYN and he first prescribed me Sprintec. After Sprintec was done, I got this prescription for Mili. It has helped me with losing weight. I'm down to 150 right now, but the side effects I would get is that I would start cramping and bleeding once I was finished with it, but as soon as I got back on, it would stop, which is good. But it helped my period come quickly and it would keep my weight at bay as long as I didn't overeat. But, when taking this birth control, it helped me out with my acne a lot and my face cleared up. But overall, I would give it a solid 9/10."

For Birth Control "Mili is the first birth control I’ve ever taken, and it left me dumbfounded from all the negatives I hear about birth control. I use it for my painful periods from PCOS along with metformin, and it took away 75% of my pain and made my period 50% lighter and shorter than what the metformin had already done. The only issue, though, is that my gums tend to swell whenever I’m starting a new pack, and how I get so accustomed to how it stabilizes my mood that when I’m on the placebo week, it goes haywire. However, Mili did help me lose some weight too, so that’s great."

For Birth Control "So I’ve been on Mili birth control pill for about four weeks now. I noticed nausea in the 3rd week the most. The rest of the time, just some cramping and light spotting. I would spot on and off or every night so far for about a month. It’s not horrible though, just somewhat annoying. I’m going to continue with it and see if my body gets adjusted to it. Also noticed an increase in painful acne, but not too much. The last week with the placebo pills has been painful cramps though."

For Birth Control "I personally love Mili. It’s the first birth control pill I have ever been on. I felt nauseous the first day, but that’s because I didn’t drink water, so make sure you drink a lot of water when you start taking it so that doesn’t happen to you. I have had no other problems with it and no side effects! :)"

For Birth Control "I’ve been on Mili for about 6 months now after switching from Junel and the Junel off brands. Junel made me incredibly angry, mood swings, depressed. I didn’t recognize myself. I decided to switch to help my acne but the change to Mili helped a lot of other things. Mili made my boobs fuller which is kinda cool, and my appetite decreased. This helped me lose weight and get fit because I could focus on cleaner eating when I wasn’t hungry all the time like on Junel. I fixed my eating disorder. Mili does give me a heavier flow on my placebo days, nausea if I take it on an empty stomach, and more cramps on placebo week than Junel. The first couple months were brutal because my body was getting used to the new hormones. I stuck it out and feel comfortable on it now. I have my placebo week every 2-3 months and don’t have many other issues with it. Now at the 6-month mark, I feel way less moody, less angry, and look more “feminine” because of the increased estrogen in this pill."

For Birth Control "I’m writing on here because I’ve been taking Mili for about two weeks now after taking Sprintec for 3 months. I used to have issues with yeast infections with Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo, and after developing them about every month, I got a generic version which helped A LOT. I was on that no-name brand for years and then went off the pill for a few months due to lack of insurance. I started up again, taking Sprintec after detailing the side effects I’ve had before with BC to the doctor. No issues with Sprintec, and I was happy. Now I started Mili, and after two weeks, I’ve experienced two yeast infections and increased anxiety. One positive is that I haven’t had much nausea, which I’ve been known to have with my other generic. I know that switching to a different BC can have negative effects initially, but I’m not willing to deal with it again like I had before! I’m stopping Mili."

For Birth Control "This was the worst birth control I have ever been on. The pill for me, in general, hasn't been that great, and I found myself calling my doctor every month for a new prescription. None of mine were as bad as this one. I have been on this pill for two months now and have not stopped bleeding. This has never happened with me and birth control. My mood is constantly down, and I am very irritable all the time. My weight went up about 10 pounds, and my skin is breaking out like crazy. Please save yourself from all of this and try anything else but this brand."

For Birth Control "This was the worst birth control. I was on Estarylla prior to this, and Estarylla was actually great for me. I had light bleeding and hardly any cramps. I was happy with it. Walgreens suddenly told me that they no longer make it, so they were giving me Mili, which was 'the same.' In no way was it the same. As soon as I switched pills, I bled for an entire month. It was nonstop bleeding, and it was just clots of blood. I was showering up to five times a day and changing pads every hour. I took it a second month after my doctor and I thought maybe I had to adjust to the new pill. The second month was a mistake because the same thing happened, and I just bled nonstop. There was about a week in between where I did not bleed. Don’t take Mili. It’s horrible!"

For Birth Control "I had Mirena 3 times and decided to switch, one because I didn’t want to be on anything (hormones are horrible for your body, period) and two because I just wanted to see if anything was different without it. I’ve been using Mirena for almost 15 years, and they say you notice changes when you stop something. Mirena was amazing. That’s what I’ve discovered. Should have never had it removed. Anyways, they prescribed me Tri Lo Mili (didn’t want my skin in shock seeing as I’m doing bodywork right now). I’m two weeks into this pill, and the side effects I am experiencing so far are: first week-insomnia, high anxiety, night sweats (so gross), mainly in my legs, bleeding gums (never had in my life), absolutely zero appetite whatsoever (and I’m a daily chocolate kind of gal)…"

For Birth Control "I was on Sprintec for a year and never had any bad side effects. My doctor gave me Mili and said that they were the same medicine and that nothing should change. I've been taking it for less than a week, and I have had headaches, horrible nausea, acne breakouts, and I'm always tired. DO NOT get fooled into thinking that Mili and Sprintec are the same thing, they are not."

For Birth Control "Took this birth control Mili pill for about 2 weeks, and the 2nd week, my skin has gone nuts. I am getting huge, painful bumps in the weirdest spots on my face. After working so long to get my skin clear, this is an absolute no for me. I will not be continuing this at all, it has also made my face extremely oily and extended the length of my acne. Most of my breakouts before were small and would clear up within 2 days. My skin is now burning from my favorite tea tree serum, and my acne now appears as if I have been picking it, which I have not. I am beyond upset and disappointed with this generic version, it genuinely sucks."

For Birth Control "I was so relieved to see I'm not the only one having major issues with this birth control. Like many, I was on Sprintec and was unexpectedly switched to Mili by my pharmacy. They say it's the same, but I seriously doubt it. I haven't had acne in years, and suddenly I have it again. My mood has always been stable on any other birth control, and now I have horrific mood swings. Literally woke up one day and could not get myself out of bed because I was so depressed. I was terrified of how low I felt. I never felt anything like that before. I have some depression and anxiety, but never like this. The following day, my mood was normal, but I had terrible cramps and heavy bleeding that went on for over a week. I'm on my second pack, finishing it out, and calling it quits. I only needed a couple months' worth while my husband fully healed after his vasectomy. Thank God. I'm sure this works for some, but after seeing others with similar experiences, I think there is something off with Mili."

For Birth Control "I had been on several birth controls that gave me bad side effects such as weight gain, water retention, and nausea to the point of puking. Once I went on this one, the side effects went away, and I have been on this one for a few years with no issues."

For Birth Control "I thought I was crazy until I read all these other reviews of switching from Sprintec to Mili. My GYN and pharmacist both assured me they were the same, however, there is no way that this is the case. I am severely bloated, and it is physically painful, and I was beginning to think I was somehow pregnant despite no recent sexual activity. It looks and feels like I am 3 months along. Add on the horrible depression and spotting, and you have a miserable trifecta. Do not take, especially if switching from Sprintec."

For Birth Control "So bad. I used to be on Estraylla or whatever, and was switched to Mili. I had very bad mood swings, cried excessively, was angry a lot, got acne, etc. I know my usual birth control would also make me a bit moody, but this was over the top."

For Birth Control "I was put on Mili after Mononessa was discontinued, as it is supposed to be the same hormones and same strength, but I had the worst experience! My hair fell out, I had cystic acne the whole time I was on this medication and had really bad migraines. I was constantly bloated and depressed. This medication is AWFUL!"

For Birth Control "I would not recommend this to anyone. This was prescribed as a substitute to Sprintec and has made me extremely nauseous during the 7 days I’ve been on it. So sick to the point I had to take time off work before finally stopping the dosage. My acne has also gotten worse, and my stomach is bloated and painful. These are the most extreme side effects I’ve had from a birth control in over 12 years of taking various brands. Would give a negative score if possible."

For Birth Control "This birth control is horrible!!! I was on Sprintec for almost 9 years, and then all of a sudden my pharmacy started giving me Mili. The first month I took it, I missed one pill by 12 hours and bled for two weeks straight. Starting on the first day of the second month, I got extremely nauseous that I didn’t eat for eight whole days. My anxiety skyrocketed as well. I was crying all the time, weak, and exhausted. I missed a whole week of work because I couldn’t stand without getting lightheaded. My anxiety was so bad that I started seeing a counselor. Then, I got my period, and everything went back to normal. Called my pharmacy right away and demanded to go back onto my old BC."

For Birth Control "My pharmacy switched me from Sprintec to Mili, and I immediately had negative effects. I had every symptom of a period besides the period itself: extreme cramping, emotional bouts, food cravings, fatigue, all around not great. I never took Midol until I started on Mili, and that was the only thing that made my cramps go away even though I wasn't on my period. I took Mili for two weeks before asking my pharmacy to override my prescription and get me back on Sprintec. Would not recommend, especially if you were on Sprintec prior to Mili. Now that I've taken three days of Sprintec, I started spotting here and there. I'm hoping my period is regular or becomes regular in the next month because Mili made me and my cycle out of whack."

For Birth Control "I have taken Sprintec and Previfem for years without too many side effects. I have never had any issues with cramps or heavy, painful periods and haven’t experienced that with Mili or any of the other brands. The pharmacy was out of my usual, so they gave me Mili, which I have never previously taken. I haven’t experienced anything unusual except the increased anxiety. With Previfem, the week before I would get my period, I would be slightly emotional, but that would go away as soon as I started the placebo pills. However, with Mili, I feel anxious more often and had a few anxiety attacks, which I haven’t had in years. Some other reviews said the anxiety faded after a few months, so I’m going to give it another month. If it doesn’t help, I’m going to call the doctor and switch."

For Birth Control "Ok, so the reason I was given this is because for some reason my cycle decided to be weird (23 days on). I'm already on Nexplanon. I've literally been on this for 1 day. I was told to take 3 a day for 3 days, and so on. Well, yesterday, 12-28-20, I did just that, and now here I am, 12-29-20, at 1:25, just finished throwing up like crazy. It's so bad my back of my head hurts, and my ears and throat also. I already have digestive problems, so this is a NO for me."

For Birth Control "Well, I got pregnant on this pill... and it doesn't even make any sense because I didn't miss any pills or was I late. My boyfriend and I literally joke about how this is an immaculate conception. 10/10 would NOT recommend. Didn't know I was pregnant until I was 12 weeks. I am against abortion but was actually considering it because we did not want a second child. I've convinced myself this is fate and not just from a crappy form of birth control."
