For Birth Control "I've been on the pill for a month. I was originally on Mononessa for two years and loved it. I had no side effects on Estarylla besides my mood changing just a little. I did not gain weight, I didn't feel nauseous, I had minor headaches the first three days starting, but I was like that on Mononessa too, and I did not break out. My period just ended. I always get my period on a Wednesday (on the sugar pill) instead of Sunday. My period lasted 4 days and ended on Saturday (yesterday). I just started the 2nd pack of this pill today. I'm going to give it another month and see how my mood is. I'm normally a relaxed person, but I've noticed I wasn't myself on this pill. It definitely works with preventing pregnancy. This whole month on it, I was having unprotected sex with my partner. I got nervous reading the reviews, but if this 2nd month goes well, I'm going to stay on it!"

For Birth Control "So I only took it for about 2 weeks. The first 5 days, I felt terrible. I had a pounding headache for 4 days straight. I felt sick to my stomach for 6 days, then I felt fine 'til day 11. I took my socks off for bed and noticed my left ankle swelled to twice the size of my right ankle. No pain, though, but I knew it had to be from the birth control. I stopped taking it immediately. The swelling went down the 2nd day, and by the 3rd day, it was gone! Maybe I didn't take it long enough for a complete review, but I wanted to share that anyway."

For Birth Control "I’ve been on Estarylla for two months now, and I’ve noticed a lot of negative changes in my body. The first month, I was nauseous every day with a splitting headache. I couldn’t do anything because I felt like garbage. (However, these symptoms seemed to go away during my period.) When I started up the second month, I noticed my nausea went down, but my head still hurts, I have developed bad anxiety, irritation, and depression. I don’t want to get out of bed in the morning, I feel groggy, I just want to sleep, and not be social. (If you knew me, you would know this isn’t normal for me.) I mean, it’s effective birth control so far, but it’s just messed me up psychologically and physically to the point of not wanting to take it anymore. I know every woman’s body and experience is different, but I just thought I would share my experience to see if other women experience the same side effects."

For Birth Control "I was on this birth control to actually get pregnant because my periods are so irregular. I've literally gone 9 months without a period, so as you can see, no periods, no babies. This birth control is horrible. I've only been on it for 3 weeks now. I've had terrible mood swings, acne breakouts, terrible cramping to the point of going to the hospital thinking something was wrong with me. I felt very nauseous and lightheaded and had bad headaches. By the 3rd week, I had clumps of hair coming out in the shower. I've never had any of these issues before. The only good I can give this is the fact that it made my period light and actually come on time."

For Birth Control "I'm on day 2 of taking this pill. The first day was terrible. I felt foggy, anxious, my palms were clammy, and I was very dizzy. My head felt like a balloon. It passed after I went for a run. The second day was worse. I was violently nauseated, same headache. The smell of certain foods made me sick. I vomited. Today is day 3, and I am seriously contemplating calling my GYN to switch. I don't want to be difficult and give up so quickly, but if I have to feel like this daily, I will gladly switch. I can't even perform my job duties properly because I'm constantly going to the bathroom. This pill is horrible."

For Birth Control "I had read the reviews before I used it, but I still decided to give it a chance since any birth control pill ever made me sick. This one is the worst nightmare. I took two pills over two days, and I'm so sick. I'm vomiting, nauseous, dizzy, headache, I can't even put my head up. I also have chills. I feel horrible. I'm not taking any more pills."

For Birth Control "I have been using this for a couple of weeks, and so far I hate it. It makes me so nauseous, and I have really bad headaches. I’m thinking of switching back to Lo Loestrin Fe."

For Birth Control "I was on Mononessa for almost 2 years, loved it, then my pharmacy, unbeknownst to me, switched over to this Estarylla. It has now been 3 months. 3 days prior to my period and all throughout my period, I have a severe headache, nausea, major stomach cramping, and dizziness. My period does not start until 3-4 days into the iron supplements and lasts a few days into a new pill pack. I talked to my OBGYN, and she suggested that I just start a new pack immediately after I end the old one instead of taking the iron pills and possibly avoid the side effects. I do not suggest Estarylla, this drug did not work well with my body."
