For Birth Control "So, I’ve been taking Aubra for about 5 1/2 to 6 months now. In the first month, I noticed a severe lack of appetite, and the first two weeks, I was extremely nauseous. This was my first time taking any type of birth control, and I wasn’t sure if I was going to continue taking it. Month two was where it all got better. I had a normal appetite again and no nauseousness. I get a little moody the last couple of days before taking the inactive brown pills, but other than that, I feel fine throughout the month. As this is my first time taking birth control, I have nothing else to compare it to, but I seem to do good on it. Now I get light periods for about 4 or 5 days too. I used to have extremely heavy periods that would last well over a week and a half. Everyone is different, but I’d recommend this pill to anyone looking for birth control."

For Birth Control "Throwing mine in the trash! I've been on Aubra for about three weeks. Been spotting/bleeding ever since. I have had the worst headache of my life for two weeks straight, not to mention the nausea and vomiting. I'd rather just risk a pregnancy. This is ridiculous. I can't even function with daily life."

For Birth Control "18 years old. 4th month. Some symptoms: sickness (worse right after taking the pill and more around 1-4 am), migraines, bad cramps (on and off period), nausea (I still haven't vomited, but there are times when I think it'll be more satisfying than feeling like it), my stomach sticks out like a balloon, I've been pretty emotional (I get really sad and have no idea why), I fainted twice and get dizzy often, my body feels weak and I bruise easily, both knees cramp up, but my period is regular and light, and my acne has gone down. Also, I'm not pregnant, so that's good too."

For Birth Control "I've been on Aubra for a month now. My experience with this birth control was really great. I didn't know what to expect on this pill, but I ended up having a great experience. I had little to no nausea, and I only got a tiny bit emotional the week of my period. I love being on this pill. It eased my cramps a lot and doesn't make me break out. I will continue to use this birth control."

For Birth Control "Okay, so I thought the side effects would leave, but I'm nearing the end of my second pack and they've not gotten any better. My first period on the pill (aside from when I started) came four days early, had worse pain than any of them before, my menstrual flow had tissue in it, I could barely eat, I threw up, and had to sleep constantly because I was so weak and lightheaded. I'm hoping the next one is better, but if it's not, I'm going to have to switch. I'm nauseous, fatigued, and get cramps constantly. I'd say a pro is that I'm not pregnant, but I don't even have sex, so... I got on Aubra to stabilize my cycle and reduce the effects on me every period (I've missed school because of it), but it hasn't done anything good for me yet."

For Birth Control "I haven't experienced too much of the side effects like weight gain, nausea, or anything. But I noticed that my eyes are really dry all the time when I started taking these, and I don't know if it's related for certain, but I've had contacts for two years, and this is the first time I've had this issue. I've had to switch to glasses as of late. Also, my depression has exponentially worsened. It feels like it hasn't, but I never cried much and have cried almost every day since I've taken these. I'm going through real things, but I used to handle them better. But I guess these symptoms are better than pregnancy, and I haven't gotten pregnant."

For Birth Control "The only good thing about this medication is that I'm not pregnant. I've been taking Aubra for about 3 months now, and the issues I was told would go away after the first pack are still truckin'. My period is nothing more than a day or two of spotting, which is pretty cool, but the constant moodiness and terrible nausea are not worth it. My relationship and health are suffering from this. I'm always feeling sick to my stomach, so I've only been eating healthier, simpler foods, but they still make me feel awful. I've been gaining weight, breaking out, and freaking out at my boyfriend, and having random bouts of depression that are usually controlled by other medication I take. Also, the IBS-like symptoms I have constantly throughout the month!!"

For Birth Control "I have been on this birth control now for 6 days, and I’m D O N E! This is the absolute worst! I know it hasn’t even been a week, but due to a severe migraine that won’t go away with Excedrin Migraine and rest, I missed a day of work, nausea that has resulted in throwing up bile thrice so far because I’m too nauseated to eat anything (even bland diet foods), dizziness, major shoulder and upper back pain, random sweats and chills, and newly I have begun crying every 30 minutes or so. I can’t live like this. I spoke with a nurse at PP who recommended I take the pill in the evening to stop the nausea, but I’ve been taking it at 9 pm since day 1. PP wants me to persist if possible, but this is the worst, and I just can’t. Another 3-4 months of this? Forget it. Count me out! I’d rather risk getting pregnant than going through another day of this."

For Birth Control "I've been on Aubra for about six months. At first, I felt a lot of side effects like nausea, headaches, sore breasts, but also an oddly increased libido. My periods became light and only last a max of four days, which is a plus, as I used to regularly bleed through pads and tampons in a couple of hours. However, I have experienced random clusters of acne on my chin, forehead, and neck since taking the pill. Another upside/downside for me is the cramps. I used to have excruciating cramps during the week of my period, but now I have persistent cramps for one, sometimes two whole weeks before my period."

For Birth Control "I experienced little to no side effects on this birth control. I did experience some spotting and nausea when I first began, but that subsided after a few days. I began to feel very nauseous during my first non-hormone week (which I confused as morning sickness), so be aware of that. I had acne before starting, and Aubra neither cleared this nor worsened my skin. Overall, very effective and a great choice!"

For Birth Control "On my second month and period is light to nonexistent! Only PMS I had was slight cramping and nausea. I've never been on the pill before, but this has been a true blessing. Sex drive seems to be normal as a lot of people say otherwise. Lost 3 lbs so far, not sure if that is pill or not, though. Do seem to be very gassy, though, and wasn't before starting. Hope to be able to get this for years."

For Birth Control "Well, I've been on this birth control pill for about a year now. When I first started this pill, I broke out really bad. Acne was horrible! My stomach hurt so bad from cramping. I felt nauseous a lot. About two weeks after starting the pill, my symptoms got better. Everything was normal. My cycle was lighter. Cleared acne. The only time I would get acne was close to my monthly cycle. The pill does work against pregnancy, which is great, but the emotions and weight gain are the bad parts about the pill. Within this year of being on this pill, I packed on at least 25 pounds. I'm thinking about switching off birth control completely, though. I'm always ready to cry about everything!"

For Birth Control "I've been on Aubra for a month and a half now, and this is my first time ever taking the pill. I was honestly expecting my side effects to be pretty bad based on reading all of these reviews after I got my prescription, but I've been pleasantly surprised so far. The first 2 days or so, I had a slight twinge of nausea that would come and go, but I barely noticed it. I haven't had any significant weight gain, and my breasts feel rounder and firmer. My mood has been the same too. Maybe because it's such a low dose, it didn't negatively affect my body, but I'm just glad I didn't have to go through all of the trial and error of finding the right pill for me. I'd recommend it."

For Birth Control "I've been on this pill for a year and a couple of months now. Before I took the pill, I rode the train every day to work and school with no problems. Now I get sick and nauseous every time. I get very emotional about the simplest things. I cried on the train once because I got off at the wrong stop. On top of that, my period lasts 8 days, whereas they were lasting 3-5. I have the same amount of cramps. Breasts are very tender 2 days before my period. Acne seems like it's never going away. Weight gain. Bloating of stomach, kind of. I want to change pills but don't know what to switch to."

For Birth Control "I began taking Aubra five months ago. For the first three weeks, I suffered from constant nausea, severe headaches, shortness of breath, IBS-like symptoms, emotional instability, and I felt extremely lethargic. After those three weeks, those symptoms disappeared. However, now five months in, I have absolutely no sex drive, my last period lasted 13 days, and I have been in a depressed-like rut for about two months. On the bright side, my boobs got bigger, I have not gained any weight, and my acne has decreased. Since these symptoms are much better than the alternative (getting pregnant), I have decided to continue taking the pill. Once my prescription expires, though, I believe I will be switching to another brand."

For Birth Control "I started Aubra back in July so I would be less anxious about pregnancy. The first month or two I was on it, I had headaches and nausea, as well as random bleeding. As soon as that ceased, I immediately began packing on pounds and became very depressed and had no desire for intimacy with my boyfriend. This all has negatively affected my relationship. It's so bad that my boyfriend offered to go back to condoms, which neither of us loves. Unfortunately, Aubra is not good for my body and mental health, for some people it is likely great, but not for me. Only good parts were zero cramps, lighter periods, zero acne, and no babies."

For Birth Control "This is the first time using Aubra. I have taken the depo and seasonique before, and that worked great for me. But for some reason, when I got on Aubra, I felt so nauseous, and my first period was normal, but now at the end of my second pack, I haven't gotten my period yet. Which concerns me because my periods were never irregular. No acne, a little weight gain, but not getting my period makes me worried. I don't like this because too much and might consider switching. But I still have a pack left, so I'll finish it and see what will happen."
