Dupilumab "At age 46, I developed eosinophilic asthma, which debilitated my life - asthma, wheezing, and intense coughing were triggered by everything from exercise (including just brisk walking) to certain foods to cold weather and cold beverages to sleep to all alcohol. Eosinophils were high and rising. It was an awful 7 months. After a spinach smoothie almost killed me by triggering a violent asthma attack, I went on Dupixent. Within a week, symptoms were 90% improved. With two weeks, they were gone. Within 4 weeks, I am hiking, exercising, eating, and resuming normal life. I’m so happy it has me in tears. Dupixent gave me my life back."

Dupilumab "Life-changing. Before Dupixent, I was always short of breath and constantly coughing up mucus plugs. About two weeks after starting, everything changed. Now, a few months in, no shortness of breath, I can climb stairs, go for super long (8 km) walks with no issues. The mucus plugs have completely disappeared. It's pretty much a last resort drug due to the $25,000/yr CAD price tag, thankfully, I was able to get coverage by a government program."

Dupilumab "It works, and I no longer have to take a rescue inhaler just about every two hours as I was taking it and at risk to my life. I have had no side effects except I no longer have asthma attacks, which I remember as a child were scary as I couldn't breathe."

Dupilumab "Dupixent has been a miracle drug for me. I have been on it for four months now, and I noticed improvement within days after taking my first shot. My irritation and my coughing of my lungs and my throat just stopped. I was weaned off my daily steroids. I stopped taking my three breathing treatments a day. I am now down to just one inhaler a day. I also have a rescue inhaler that I have not had to use since I started Dupixent, and I was using my rescue inhaler multiple times a day. I have not had a flare-up or a bad lung infection since I started on Dupixent, and last year I had lung infections every couple of weeks. I was on antibiotics. I’ve had minimal mild side effects: just the dry eye and fatigue the day I take the shot and the day after. Other than that, no other side effects. This drug has changed my life!"

Dupilumab "I've had 3 injections, so this is new for me. The last week or so, I have experienced tingling in my right arm and some type of eczema rash on my arms, legs, and scalp. I'm bruising easily. My wheezing has gone away, but I'm still out of breath upon exertion. I live in AZ, and our weather has been 110+, so I'm thinking that might be contributing to some of this. My doctor is out of the office this coming week, so I will see him on my next injection appointment. I plan to call his office tomorrow, and I hope his staff is able to help me. If all of this is normal for just adjusting to Dupixent, then I probably will hope that comes soon. At this point, I cannot recommend this to anyone."

Dupilumab "Before Dupixent, I had to take Prodozone twice a year, and the effect would last about a month. After 5 months of Dupixent, I'm able to work, and more importantly, I got the ambition to do something."

Dupilumab "CVA. No steroid would help, persistent cough, reaction to dust and pollution. Also, sinuses suffer. Prior to starting Dupixent, 2 inhalers and pills for CVA, antihistamine and steroids, nasal spray, and the occasional steroid systemic course. Still, no control of cough and, to a lesser degree, sinus congestion every time the inhaler is changed. Works for some time, a month or two, then cough gets worse. More than 10 years suffering vigorous cough, which broke my ribs! Dupixent helped, controlled cough to a degree where I can feel cured. I stopped inhalers except for occasional recurrence or worse conditions of pollution. I cough, but rarely. I take inhalers but far less and no pills for CVA. I stopped antihistamines, which I have been taking for years, and only use nasal spray. The injections sometimes hurt, and the spring on the injection pen is meant for a horse. It is forceful, it hurts."
