For Insomnia "I have insomnia from sinus surgery that was botched, resulting in empty nose syndrome. It screws up the internal sleeping clock. Awaiting surgery to fix it. My doctor recommended Unisom. I get the gel 50 mg pill, wow, that knocked me out cold. I was shocked. I decided it was too much since I'm a small person, so I got the 25 mg tablet. The next day I felt sleepy, dropsy all day, so I cut the tablet in half and will try that to see."

For Insomnia "I am 24 years old. I had to stay awake during the nights of the last week due to a university exam. Four days after the exam is finished, I cannot sleep well because my bedtime has changed, and I feel so tired during the day. Last night at 2:45 am, I took one (50 mg) tab, and after 30-40 minutes, I slept deeply. At 9:00 am (after 6 hours), I woke up feeling a little bit heavy and sleepy, so I went back to sleep for another 2 hours. After that, I woke up feeling fresh and energetic, like I had a good continuous sleep through the night."

For Insomnia "Unisom is essentially a similar active ingredient in Benadryl, just 50 mg rather than 25 mg. Works like a charm to put me to sleep. Takes about 20 minutes for the drowsiness to kick in. Wake up fine, a little sleepy, but a shower rectifies that in no time."
