Doxylamine / pyridoxine for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I was ridiculously sick starting around 5-6 weeks pregnant. At 8 weeks, my new OB-GYN prescribed Diclegis. I started taking 2 pills at night, and I definitely felt better the next day-barely any nausea, so it definitely served its purpose. However, when I returned for the 10-week ultrasound, my doctor informed me that there was no heartbeat and the baby stopped growing around 8 weeks. The heartbeat was strong, 140 at 7 weeks, and this was a totally devastating blow-usually, once there is a heartbeat above 120, there is a very small chance of miscarriage-about 3-4%. I can’t help but think that maybe it is not a total coincidence that the baby stopped growing and died right around the same time I started taking Diclegis. If I am lucky to get pregnant again, I will never touch this drug :("
