For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I started having extreme nausea & vomiting at around 6 weeks pregnant. There was a point where just thinking about food would make me nauseous. Obviously I had forcefully eat because of the pregnancy but I knew it wasn't going to last, i just throw it back up. I would vomit 2 times a day and feel nauseous the whole day. My Ob told me about Bonjesta, I would take anything at this point. Turns out my insurance didn't cover it, it would be $700+ out of packet, I literally started crying because I was so tired of feeling the way I was feeling. But luckily, I got a prior approval and immediately after taking it I was able to keep my dinner down for the first time. I am on day 3 and currently have not thrown up or experienced nausea like i had been. Does make you really tired but I'd rather feel tired and fight through it than being nauseous all day and having the horrible feeling of hunger but not eating from fear of throwing up."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I am 9 weeks pregnant and have had horrible nausea and sometimes vomiting, zofran helped but is linked to heart defects in the babies so I was put on phenergan which helped but still didn't stop the nausea, which is when my OB put me on Bonjesta. Turns out, I had no idea what nausea, dizziness, and gut wrenching vomiting was until I started taking this medication! It made my symptoms so much worse, I've heard good things about it but want to let people know, it does not work for everyone! I have settled on phenergan it keeps my nausea at a reasonable level and I rarely vomit. Please stop taking bonjesta if you're getting dizzy and sick to your stomach!"

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "This medicine has honestly worked wonders for me. My morning sickness was so bad that it was through the whole day. I did read reviews prior to buying it and a lot people stated it makes you very sleepy. This is true. So I decided to only take one pill at night before bed and since it's an extended-release tablet it had helped with my sickness all the way up till the evening of the next day. It does knock me out for the night and I don't recommend taking it during the day if you work or have things to do. But it really does help with the sickness! I didn't have an appetite at all and barely could even drink anything...NOW I'm able to tolerate food and drink more. I don't have as much of an appetite like before being pregnant but am still able to eat a fair amount. If you're thinking and debating about the medicine just do it, it seriously does help if you take it continuously!"

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "This is my first pregnancy and I have been extremely nauseated . Which started at week 6. At 8 weeks I was vomiting 3-4x a day. I am currently 10 weeks and my doctor prescribed me Bonjesta which has worked like a gem! I am forever grateful that their is a safe and effective method for women experiencing these symptoms throughout their pregnancy. I am hoping that as I move into the 12-14 week phase I will no longer have to rely on this medication but in the meantime I will continue to take it in order to function. It did make me extremely drowsy at first but now that I take it on a regular basis as prescribed my body has become some what adjusted. I typically take it in the evenings before bed."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I suffered from very bad hypermesis gravidarum (morning sickness) in my first pregnancy and had success in relieving symptoms with diclegis. During my second pregnancy I ended up having morning sickness again and was desperate for relief. My doctor prescribed me Bonjesta Which at first appeared to relieve symptoms but within two days I was just as sick as before. I ended up having to eliminate so many foods that by the time I was done I was only able to eat spinach and potatoes that were steamed. I decided to drop the Bonjesta and see what happened and within two days I had zero symptoms and was able to eat whatever I wanted. Imagine that, the anti nausea drug was causing my issues all along. This medication did not work for me at all. I’m glad that my insurance covered the medication because I would have been pretty sour about having to pay the exorbitant cost."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "This is my 5th pregnancy and I always have nausea, but not technically severe because I don’t vomit. But this time I have been nauseous pretty much 24/7 with severe food aversions. I am 8 weeks and we had a plane trip already scheduled, so I asked my doctor for something because I struggle with motion sickness even when I’m not pregnant. Oh my goodness, I have NEVER felt so good on an airplane in my life! My nausea is completely gone and food sounds good again. Three days ago looking at food magazines made me feel queasy. For me drowsiness hasn’t been an issue either. They just gave me a sample of Bonjesta, but I think I’m going to ask for a prescription when we get home. I feel like myself again and like I can actually be there for my kids, instead of just laying on the couch trying not to think about food."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I was put on Bonjesta at 10 weeks pregnant. I was put on Zofran first and took it for a week with no help, then phenergan for a week, same thing. The only thing I could stomach was a banana a day and a sip or two of ice cold water or sprite. I was puking and vomiting every single day. I had lost 12lbs from lack of eating and constant puking. Bonjesta's been a life saver. I've been able to eat.The only side effect I've had, is tiredness. Taking it at night has been the best for me. I'm so happy to be back to "normal." I am able to be full now, along with knowing I'm getting and giving the baby the food, vitamins and nutrients like it needs. If you're losing weight while pregnant, constantly puking and sick, and can't eat, I highly suggest talking about Bonjesta with your OB and see if it may work for you."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "Bonjesta helped immediately. After dealing with nausea and vomiting starting at week 5, I realized it would have been impossible to get myself out of bed and into work. I wasn’t able to keep water down. Was dehydrated. Weak. My doctor prescribed this immediately and it got rid of probably 90% of the nausea and vomiting."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "At first, I HATED how drowsy this medication made me. The first dose, which I took at 9 p.m. knocked me out until around 3 p.m. the next day. But slowly my down time started to decrease more and more. Last night I took it and went straight to bed around 10 and I woke up around 9:45. So that's improvement. I think it's worth it to keep taking it and seeing if your body gets used to the drowsiness because honestly for me it REALLY helps with the nausea. Some days it's just barely there, others it is almost non-existent. It totally makes morning sickness more bearable for me."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "Yes, Bonjesta works extremely well. I had hyperemesis in both my Prior pregnancies(was hospitalized twice) and at that time did not know of the existence of bonjesta. This pregnancy it was a life saver, I was able to eat and fully function. No longer felt nauseous or even aversion to smells. I have a very demanding job in finance and was able to work through the entire pregnancy."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I had morning sickness all day long. It kicked in on week 6. It was unbearable. I tried bonjesta For three days and it took the edge off. I was disappointed because I was still super nauseous. I took a second pill on the fourth day. It made me sooooo drowsy. After taking two, I went back to one a day. After a week on it, I feel soooooo much better!! My nauseous was almost completely gone after a week, and it doesn’t make me drowsy anymore. If after a few days it’s doesn’t work, take a second pill one day just to get in you system and wait a week. It takes a week to work. It is worth it! You will feel good again."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "Welll I came to the comments hoping it wasn’t just me, haha! I started bonjesta at 13 weeks and honestly I passed out the first night (can’t have nausea if you’re knocked out) so now I’m on day 4, it doesn’t put me out but it’s like it amped it up. I’ve thrown up 3-4 times a day and soon as I put food on my tongue, I get gaggy and chills and end up not eating. I’ve been living on crackers and chips then I throw those up. I tried a smoothie yesterday and ended up puking it all back up. Please tell me it’s almost over lol"

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "Came into severe morning sickness at 6th week of my 1st pregnancy. Lost my appetite; nauseous all day everyday. Nights were the worst b/c I would wake up every 20 min. feeling like I needed to vomit. I lost weight. I tried homeopathic remedies. Nothing worked. I was so worried that I would have to live like this for my whole pregnancy. My doctor prescribed Bonjesta. Within 20 minutes of taking first pill, I felt drowsy, but my nausea already started subsiding. I will take drowsiness over nausea any day. I have to work hard to stay focussed, but still I am able to work & function & eat. I highly recommend Bonjesta. I still experience mild nausea from time to time but nothing like before. I take 1 pill when I wake up in the AM + 1 pill at approx. 6:30pm."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "Was extremely nauseous and was put on Zofran. Still had nausea, so my doctor suggested I try Bonjesta. So far it has made my nausea manageable and even nonexistent at times. I have gained weight back that I had lost from not being able to eat. The worst part is the tired feeling, but I will take that over the intense nausea any day. It does make my heart pound, but nothing that wasn’t already listed in side effects."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I was experiencing pregnanacy nausea without vomiting from week 6 to current (week 8), I wasn’t able to eat, really only able to rest in bed for the most part, I tried bonjesta and it’s helped a great deal. I still experience slight nausea but it’s bearable and every so often I will actually feel hungry and am able to eat like normal. I have tried zofran as well which does help with nausea but backs you up badly, so be careful."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I guess some of us are lucky to have this pill work for morning sickness, I am not one of them. Started at my 4th week I am now 11 weeks, the pill made me worse!!! Felt like a tranquilizer and knocking me out!!! Not good when you have a 6 year old. By my 4th day I was still nauseated and throwing up. Yes I would see the somewhat dissolved pill in my throw up. Gross I know. My Dr. is not going to put me on a IV pump because I am not losing too much weight, not good!!! Wish you ladies the best and hope this helps."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "10/10 I’ve had terrible nausea and vomiting since week 6, currently in week 11. Two nights ago I forgot my pill ONE night and the next AM projectile vomiting. What does this tell me? This WORKS and I will make sure I don’t miss another dose as I feel great when I do take it."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "With my first daughter 5 years ago I had pretty bad nausea but managed to get through it without needing any medication. This time around was a completely different story. I really tried to not take any medicine but after two days of being unable to consume any food it was time (I was 6 weeks). My doctor prescribed me Bonjesta and warned me it would make me tired. Boy was she right! I took this the first night around 9pm, woke up the next day and within 2 hours I had to lay back down for a 3 hour nap. The nausea has mostly gone away, but tonight it came back. I haven’t been taking it twice a day yet as I’m afraid I’ll be a zombie but I think it might need too. Works great for the Morning sickness but I just wish it didn’t make me so tired! Also, this is expensive. My insurance covered $600+ but I still had to pay about $135 out of pocket."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I had severe nausea that lasted 24/7 starting at week 6 of my pregnancy. I talked to my doctor at my 8-week appointment and was prescribed Bonjesta. When I first started taking it, it felt like it was only working for a couple of hours, but by dinner time, I was super sick again. After a week of being on it, my nausea is pretty much completely gone!!!! I can actually cook dinner for my family again and eat normal foods that aren't crackers or Honey Nut Cheerios. Give it a week to work, I promise it works!"

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I’m 10 weeks pregnant and started getting nausea at 6 weeks. I was prescribed Zofran initially and that didn’t really help. Now on Bonjesta and it’s an improvement. I do have to take it morning and evening but it helps keep the nausea under control and sometimes takes it away completely. It’s still a bit of a struggle because it does make you more tired but I’ll take it. Anything but this nausea plz."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "Bonjesta has been an absolute miracle lifesaver for me. This is my 5th pregnancy with horrible morning sickness 24/7. Diclegis didn't work, unisom barely worked, and I used to take Zofran daily to function. I had to pay out of pocket for this and it has saved me. I am still nauseous but I can eat, drive, and function and no more throwing up! I was sleepy for the first few days and it takes about a week to really work but now it's AMAZING. Highly recommend and it's super safe!"

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I take one Bonjesta pill at night before bed. This medication is the only medicine that has helped with my extreme morning sickness. When I take the pill at night I feel less nauseated in the morning. I can eat more and I am not vomiting as much. I feel more like myself. I went from being sick 100% of the day to 20% or less some days. Definitely, worked for me."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "Please do not waste your money on this extremely overpriced product. It is simply an extended release capsule of Unisom (Doxylamine Succinate) and vitamin B6. Both can be purchased generic and over the counter for $0.19 per dose where we live. The price with insurance for Bonjesta where we live at the pharmacy the OB sent it to is $3.25 per dose. If an OB prescribed this to you they have a fantastic pharmaceutical sales rep from Duchesnay."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "The nausea was absolutely unmanageable before Bonjesta. I was throwing up almost every day and it was hard to eat anything. The drowsiness is real. The first few days I had a hard time waking up before 10:00 am, and was sleepy again by 6:00 pm. But - as many have said - I'll take the drowsiness over the nausea. At least I'm able to eat (still small meals, a little at a time, nothing with a ton of flavor) and stay hydrated. Also - my OBGYN gave me a coupon that brought the price down to $40. Otherwise with insurance it was $200 (no insurance closer to $800). So definitely ask for a coupon."
