For Nausea/Vomiting "I have Crohn's disease, ankylosing spondylitis, endometriosis, and psoriatic arthritis. I have also developed abdominal venous compression syndrome, which has made my worst Crohn's symptoms (nausea, vomiting, and cramping) even worse. Gravol (brand name here in Canada) IM 50 mg or IV 50 mg/4 hrs is the ONLY med that helps these symptoms and allows me to keep down fluids. I've been on a liquid diet for over a year, and I have to give myself an IM injection before I consume anything, otherwise, I will immediately throw up. It also calms me down and helps me to go back to sleep. Since I developed compressions, I've been having full-body migraines. This, combined with a pain med, is the only thing that even puts a dent in the suffering. Unfortunately, I've now been on it 4 times a day for years, and I've developed so much scar tissue in injection spots that sometimes it does not go in. Getting it pushed through my IV into my surgical port in the hospital gives me the best relief."

Dimenhydrinate for Nausea/Vomiting "First morning I wake up in Mexico, and I have this urge to throw up, and I do so right outside my room. Two hours go by, and I’m still feeling super nauseous. I run down to the store in my resort, and I was recommended Dramamine (which was also like $20). Honestly, it made me throw up even more; a lot more. But I will say that it made me feel better after getting all the vomit out, so I guess it kind of worked? I still feel a little nauseous; hopefully, it goes away in a bit."

Dimenhydrinate for Nausea/Vomiting "Sometimes after a night of partying, I become nauseous. One of my customers suggested Dramamine after I threw up. Now I can party all night! My revenue is up as I can still work. Thank you, Dramamine! (Oh, and a side note: Dramamine works a lot better taken orally compared to rectally, but what do I know? I'm just a 30-year-old man. Go nuts!)"

Dimenhydrinate for Motion Sickness "I have taken Dramamine every day of my adult life. I have suffered from motion sickness my entire life, and it is not unusual for me to become motion sick from working on the computer if I haven't taken a Dramamine yet. I recently noticed yellowing of my skin and eyes. My doctor ordered blood work, and I was diagnosed with hepatitis A. There is no reason I would have contracted hepatitis. Is there a correlation with Dramamine?"

Dimenhydrinate for Motion Sickness "I’ll be going on a 1-hour drive with my best friend to Great Wolf Lodge, and I’m afraid of getting carsick! So I texted my mom about this, and she’s buying me the medicine. Though I hate being in cars with too much motion, it makes me feel sick a lot. But I’m pretty sure I’ll forget all about the sickness once I go on slides and go swimming."

Dimenhydrinate for Nausea/Vomiting "For me, Dramamine works better than Phenergan. I have a lot of nausea due to rheumatoid medications I take. I also get vertigo or migraines on occasion that cause nausea. This med helps me a lot."

"I am not sure why, but for the last six months, I have been dizzy all the time. I'm guessing it has to do with age since I'm now 61, and this helps it three times a day. If I miss it, I'll get dizzy."

Dimenhydrinate for Motion Sickness "This is AMAZING. My 4-year-old son started to get car sick as he got older. When we would have to drive any distance longer than 20 minutes, he would get nauseous and throw up. After one particularly bad road trip, where we had to stop on four separate occasions due to him throwing up, I finally did some research into some sort of medicine that would help. I tried the chewable kids' Dramamine, and although he still complained a few times about his stomach hurting, he never threw up and was quickly back to his usual self."
