Dimenhydrinate for Motion Sickness "I have been seriously dizzy since Jan 2018. Dramamine restores me, so I can work and live. The only problem is I take quite a few tabs a day. But for three and a half months, I can't handle the dizziness! Dramamine took away my dizzy spells, nausea, and vomiting! I feel human again."

Dimenhydrinate for Nausea/Vomiting "In college, I had a bad reaction to a medication and spent the entire day in bed and throwing up until my roommate gave me Dramamine, and it completely took away the vomiting and helped me go to sleep."

Dimenhydrinate for Motion Sickness "I use this for both motion sickness and severe migraines. I'm 25 years old, and this actually takes away the hurt from noise, light, touch, and yes, dizziness and vomiting. I can actually move and participate with my family this Christmas. Rarely do I mix it, if anything, I just take the max dosage recommended."

Dimenhydrinate for Nausea/Vomiting "Although it does not take all of the nausea away, it takes it away enough to avoid vomiting when the stomach bug is running its course. Although not indicated for gastroenteritis (aka 'stomach flu'), I have used it on many occasions as I own a business; and any day not at work is lost income. I also give it to my children when they are feeling ill enough to vomit. Note: Bonine (meclizine) and 'Less-Drowsy Dramamine' (meclizine), which are also motion sickness medicines, work even pretty well, but not as well in my opinion for nausea caused by actual sickness."

Dimenhydrinate for Nausea/Vomiting "My doctor advised taking Dramamine after he gave me medicine to treat my problems - not motion sickness - and I experienced nausea and some vomiting from the medicine. I had tried various things that just seemed to make it worse, but this helps. Now I can take the medicine I need and still be comfortable."

For Nausea/Vomiting "I have been experiencing severe nausea and vomiting due to my long-term medications. So far, dimenhydrinate combined with ginger tea (ginger root soaked in hot water) has had the best results. I'm finally able to eat some food again."

For Motion Sickness "Our six-year-old gets terrible motion sickness even on short trips. We recently went on vacation, and the drive was proving to be too much for her. She threw up the whole day and then some the next, even after she was out of the car - really heartbreaking. We purchased dimenhydrinate at the suggestion of the pharmacist, and she was perfectly fine in 20 minutes. We finished our drive from Canada to North Carolina, and she was completely healthy and happy the entire trip. FABULOUS!"

Dimenhydrinate for Nausea/Vomiting "We always use Dramamine for car sickness, but my youngest came down with a tummy bug. She refused to take it in, but the moment my stomach started to feel off, I took a 24 Dramamine, and wow! I used to take Zofran for migraines, and this worked just as well. Although, had I not taken it before my stomach got too upset, I’m not sure I could have kept it down. Needless to say, I had to use it for two days. My stomach was definitely upset, but this was keeping nausea at bay, and I managed to stop all the vomiting. Thank goodness!"

Dimenhydrinate for Nausea/Vomiting "I’m taking the Dramamine-N for dizziness, which was then causing nausea and vomiting not related to travel at all, and within about one half hour, I’m feeling good! Highly recommend for this problem."

For Nausea/Vomiting "I don't normally take this. I don't drink coffee. A cola keeps me awake all night. I usually take 25 mg (half a pill). I have to be careful at night. The second drug, 8-Chlorotheophylline, is a lot like caffeine, and it keeps me awake for hours. Since I've had a concussion (I lost consciousness briefly), I'm very nauseous. Dimenhydrinate in the daytime helps a bit. I still vomit. I have to take diphenhydramine at night or else. Last night, I was laying awake until 7 am. I wanted to sleep. It was as if I drank coffee or cola late. Now my sleep schedule needs to be fixed too. Oh well, I'm so sick from being hit in the head. I can barely eat. I lay around or plain sleep when I am dog-tired. It works well during a car trip or plane ride. Motion sickness."

For Nausea/Vomiting "I have Crohn's disease, ankylosing spondylitis, endometriosis, and psoriatic arthritis. I have also developed abdominal venous compression syndrome, which has made my worst Crohn's symptoms (nausea, vomiting, and cramping) even worse. Gravol (brand name here in Canada) IM 50 mg or IV 50 mg/4 hrs is the ONLY med that helps these symptoms and allows me to keep down fluids. I've been on a liquid diet for over a year, and I have to give myself an IM injection before I consume anything, otherwise, I will immediately throw up. It also calms me down and helps me to go back to sleep. Since I developed compressions, I've been having full-body migraines. This, combined with a pain med, is the only thing that even puts a dent in the suffering. Unfortunately, I've now been on it 4 times a day for years, and I've developed so much scar tissue in injection spots that sometimes it does not go in. Getting it pushed through my IV into my surgical port in the hospital gives me the best relief."

Dimenhydrinate for Nausea/Vomiting "First morning I wake up in Mexico, and I have this urge to throw up, and I do so right outside my room. Two hours go by, and I’m still feeling super nauseous. I run down to the store in my resort, and I was recommended Dramamine (which was also like $20). Honestly, it made me throw up even more; a lot more. But I will say that it made me feel better after getting all the vomit out, so I guess it kind of worked? I still feel a little nauseous; hopefully, it goes away in a bit."

Dimenhydrinate for Nausea/Vomiting "For me, it works miracles. When I used to drink, I'd get the worst hangovers because of the horrible stomach ache and vomiting. If I take this, I know in one hour exactly (it literally takes exactly 60 minutes for me), I will feel better and not even a little nauseous. I also get nasty random bouts of nausea (I have no idea why). Before knowing about Dramamine, I'd have to force myself to vomit just to feel a little bit of relief, but after finding this stuff, I no longer suffer. I do not know what I will do if this medicine is ever discontinued."
