For Birth Control "I started this a little over a month ago despite reading some of the scary reviews on here. The only thing that was different was it made me a lot more emotional than I usually am. Also, my period was longer than normal, but there was barely any bleeding. Besides that, I did not have any problems while taking it, and it seems to be doing its job! It’s a good first birth control, and you need to remember that every medication affects people differently!"

For Birth Control "Got prescribed Isibloom through the pill club, like most reviewers here. I saw a lot of negative reviews for it and was pretty freaked out, but it turns out I was worrying for nothing. I'm prone to nausea and mood swings already, so I was concerned those side effects would hit me hard, but they didn't at all. I feel pretty much the exact same as I did before starting this pill! The only thing that's changed is that my periods are lasting slightly longer now, though it's worth noting that I had abnormally short periods to begin with (used to be 2-3 days, now it's more like 5-6. Sucks, but not really worth complaining about too much)."

For Birth Control "I’m on my second month of Isibloom birth control pills. I had bad mood swings, like I was snapping at my boyfriend, who is such an angel. I was very exhausted, I would need to take a nap every day for the first 3 weeks. Those went away after a month. One very bad side effect from the Isibloom I’m going through right now is discomfort from sex. Not only is my drive down, but I get pain sometimes when having sex. That is the number one downfall. One minor thing is that I have chapped lips that are so hard to keep moisturized. Other than those two things, everything else is good. I struggle with acne most of my 20 years, but it’s making my skin smooth! My periods are lighter. This brand affects differently for everyone, so try it to find your answer."

For Birth Control "I literally hate being on this Isibloom pill!! I’ve taken it 4 times for IVF, and each time I have different symptoms. The first time was nausea, migraines, and mood swings. The second time I was so angry all the time, my blood was boiling. The third time I have stomach pain and diarrhea. Lastly, now I’m having nausea and abdominal cramps. I never want to take this pill again. I have a couple more weeks until I can stop."

For Birth Control "I've been on Isibloom birth control for almost a month now. The first three days on Isibloom were terrible. I was constantly nauseous and didn't feel good at all. Now I'm 3 weeks in, and I have no complaints. I haven't had any symptoms other than occasional cramping on a pain level of 3. I have realized that my mood swings are bad, and since starting birth control, I get emotional A LOT. I did recently have intercourse, and I'm terrified I might end up pregnant even if I have been consistent with taking birth control. I have been feeling weird since having sex, my nausea came back, severe backache, and loss of appetite."

For Birth Control "My doctor switched me to this birth control to help control my endometriosis. Not only did this make it worse, it caused a lot of other symptoms. Was only on it for 2 months before I couldn’t take it anymore. I gained 16 pounds, extremely irritable, mood swings, and severely increased my anxiety and depression."

For Birth Control "I have been on birth control for almost 5 months, and Isibloom was the second brand that I have tried. For my first packet, I didn’t notice a ton of differences from my last brand (Juleber). Although when I came home from college during Winter Break, my mood swings were pretty noticeable. Don’t get me wrong, the first brand of birth control caused some minor mood swings, but definitely not as severe as this brand. I am emotional and sensitive enough as it is, but I have noticed an increase while taking this pill. My boyfriend and family notice it too, and it’s getting so bad that I may need to switch brands sometime soon... unfortunately. I’m crying at everything, ahh! The only negative side effect I have had was bad mood swings. On the bright side, this month’s period was the lightest/fastest I’ve ever experienced, and my acne is gone. However, if you’re already a super emotional person or experience any anxiety/depression issues, this brand may not be the best."

For Birth Control "I've been taking birth control with Pill Club since August last year. Recently, I switched to Isibloom because I wanted to stop having periods. The first 2 packs/six weeks on this was perfectly normal; a week into the second pack, I started experiencing spotting again. Normally, I wouldn't care, but now I'm on the second week of the fourth pack, and it has still been going on. I do not know if I have an unrelated condition causing this because I am unable to afford a doctor visit without insurance until next year, but ever since I started taking birth control, I have not felt truly like myself. This brand and the other brand, I feel very emotional for no reason, bloated, and random long periods of spotting. I would definitely warn anyone to just be careful when going on birth control and be aware you might not feel like yourself."

For Birth Control "I’ve been on Isibloom for 2 months now. The first month, I had extreme mood swings and depression, loss of appetite, weakness, and dizziness. Slight spotting began, which continued into heavier spotting with large blood clots and the most painful cramps I have ever experienced. It stopped for a week after my period, then started up again. I got on this birth control for my cramps, and now they’re only worse. Definitely would not recommend unless you like being curled up in a ball all month long."

For Birth Control "I’ve been on Isibloom for almost two weeks, and I hate it. I’m constantly hungry and sick, and I have seriously bad mood swings. I’m always pissy or annoyed and constantly depressed. Before, I didn’t have an appetite, and I was chill and laid back, and now I’m just so angry all the time. I got mad at my boyfriend for talking to a girl he is friends with because I didn’t like her, normally I wouldn’t care. I don’t feel like myself on this pill. This is the first time with Isibloom birth control, and I hate it. I’m going to get something prescribed differently."

For Birth Control "I have been taking Isibloom for a year now. Originally starting on it because of cysts. It did get rid of my acne, no significant weight gain/loss, nor tender breasts. But the near constant nausea, diarrhea, dizziness, mood swings, and migraines are horrible. I can't do much without throwing up, even if I stand up slowly, I get dizzy. I've never had a migraine before, but I sure know what one feels like now. It's just downright horrid. I have only stayed on it as long as I have because I thought it would go away. It's been a year now and it has not."

For Birth Control "Just finished my first pack of Isibloom. In a short month, I have developed horrible acne, in places I’ve never had acne. I have had to stop wearing contacts because of extreme dry eyes. Ridiculous mood swings, crying constantly. I’m done with this, and hopefully, I can get my face cleared up before my wedding."

For Birth Control "This is my first time using birth control, and I hate this pill. I started taking it the first day of my period, and it's been about a week and a half, and I have been spotting since my period was supposed to stop. I'm also super hungry at night, and I've had such terrible mood swings. I can have a passing thought about something, and I'll just start sobbing. Can't wait to be put on a different pill."

For Birth Control "Cramping, spotting, headaches, slight sinus pain, severe paranoia and anxiety, and awful mood swings. I've only been on Isibloom for 2 weeks but can tell the changes. I'll stick it out, but if it doesn't get better by the time this month is up, I'm contacting my doctor to change my meds."

For Birth Control "Some of the horrible side effects from Isibloom that I've been reading about-not happening to me! Very thankful for that. I started it right after my last period had ended, and I've been using it to skip periods, and I haven't had one since. The week I'm supposed to, I can tell I'm a little bloated, but no spotting, even. I do have some pretty intense mood swings, but I've had diagnosed severe depression for many years, long before I began taking this, and this time of year is never good for me. My skin is about the same as it was before, maybe my face has gotten slightly better. I've noticed a small lack of sex drive, but nothing horrible, and even though I've only had sex on it once, I didn't get pregnant. Wish I could completely dismiss the mood swings, but they might be part of it. All in all, sometimes, certain pills work better for some people and not for others. I used The Pill Club, and I have no regrets, this works for me, and I can handle the mood swings."

For Birth Control "I first started using this birth control in December 2021, and it was great when I first used it. There weren't any negative effects showing at the time, helped me track my period, and saved me many times while being active, lol. In January 2022, I've been experiencing the worst mood swings ever, just crying over nothing, and it impacted my sex life tremendously. I was not naturally getting wet, which was uncommon, and it was painful during sex. I talked to my doctor about it, and she said it was alright and that it was part of the side effects, but I just couldn't get over the fact that I wasn't naturally doing something I normally do. When I ran out of pills for about a week, I noticed when I started taking the pills again that the pain happened again during sex and sometimes not naturally getting wet. I recently just stopped taking the pill overall because it was just messing up my sex life, health, and mental well-being."

For Birth Control "I’ve been on this pill, it seems like forever. One year, I renewed my prescription, and that’s when I started seeing a change. At first, everything was fine. For about a year or so, I was getting regular 5-6 days of bleeding. Cramps only on the first day. Nothing else serious or major. Maybe slight mood swings, but that’s it. Then, I renewed my prescription, and for some reason (IDK if they changed the pill), everything slowly started getting worse. Acne on my face came back after trying to fight it off for years. My cramps went from one day to many days before I started and days during my period. My period lasts for only 2-3 days. Mood swings are abnormal. I’m crying when I don’t want to cry. My energy is drained before my period starts. It’s hard to concentrate as well. I didn’t get much weight gain while on it, but I have gained some weight. That’s about it."

For Birth Control "I have been on Isibloom for a little over a year. In the beginning, I experienced mild side effects such as mood swings and nausea, but it eventually went away around month 3, and my period became shorter with little to no cramping. However, around month 11, I began to experience some of the worst stomach pain and nausea that I have ever had. I was unable to keep any food down, had a very low appetite, and was extremely depressed and unmotivated. As time went on, I started to have severe headaches, inability to focus, repeated UTI infections, and an increase in weight gain, along with all of my nausea and sharp stomach pains. In addition to all of these side effects, I would frequently cry for no reason, have extremely heightened anxiety, and severe changes in mood. If you want to be on a pill that makes you feel as if you’re going insane, Isibloom is for you."

For Birth Control "I have been on two different birth controls, Isibloom and Yaz, over the past three years. I think I have the opposite experience from most people. I first started taking Isibloom in the green package, but I still experienced a lot of horrible pain and mood swings and had been diagnosed with PMDD. Although there are so many problems with Yaz, I trusted my doctor and others in my family with PMDD when they said that was the best option. It was great until I had breakthrough periods that were so horrible I couldn’t even stand up without passing out, almost as bad as before I was on any birth control. Then I told my doctor about it, and we went back to Isibloom for some reason (I think he forgot I was on it the first time, and I didn’t notice until I picked it up from the pharmacy), but it was in pink packaging. If I take it consistently like I’m supposed to, I rarely get a period (the whole point of me being on continuous cycle is to prevent the period) and no side effects."

For Birth Control "I’ve been on Isibloom for over a year and a half now, and I love it! I originally took it to stop my period, and it was great! Completely stopped it! I have now switched to taking it normally, and the only side effects I’ve noticed so far are that I’ll get like one canker sore in my mouth right before my period, and this has happened 3 times now over a span of 8 months. Over the past few months, I’ve also noticed I’ll have mood swings when getting close to or on my period, but they aren’t bad, just enough for me to notice the difference. This has also helped my acne so much too and regulate my period! Definitely recommend it, but everybody’s body will react differently."

For Birth Control "I had a terrible experience on this birth control. My skin has been clear my entire life, but when I started this birth control, it gave me the worst cystic acne, bumps everywhere on my cheeks. It also gave me terrible mood swings, it made me crazy. I got this from the pill club, and this is my biggest regret. I was 19 when I started taking it, and I took it for 3 months. The first month and a half wasn’t terrible, but after that, everything went downhill. I stopped taking this 14 months ago, and I am still left with cystic acne all over one cheek. I have tried multiple pills and tretinoin for acne, so I’m positive that this birth control caused it. It’s embarrassing. Although, this is my experience, and everyone’s body is different."

For Birth Control "I am debating going off this birth control because I am not sure if it is the cause of some of my mental issues. I find myself occasionally having extreme mood swings, intense depression, and anxiety for certain weeks of taking the pill. It doesn't happen every month - some months I have zero side effects. It did seem to completely get rid of my hormonal jaw acne, which was nice. It also made my period shorter and less heavy. However, it has caused me to sweat way more, slightly more migraines, and didn't help period cramps at all. Also, if I take this pill more than 2 hours later than my scheduled time, I always will have heavy breakthrough bleeding for at least a week. Not sure it's right for me with a history of mental illness, but if you don't struggle with mental illness, it may be right for you."

For Birth Control "I found The Pill Club in which they prescribed me Isibloom. It was cheap and the reviews looked fine online, so I went for it. After being on this for a few months, I began to realize I had mood swings. Anything could make my mood change from happy to miserable within a matter of a minute. I lashed out at everybody and I couldn't figure out why. My acne has gotten noticeably worse while being on it, and my weight has dropped a considerable amount. I know birth control comes with some side effects in general, such as mood swings, but this was just out of control. I cried constantly. I take my birth control every day at 8 am, without failure. When I started this birth control, I had my period for a MONTH straight. My period has not regulated at all with this birth control. And I have had pregnancy scares along the way. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT take this birth control. Using this brand as a contraceptive is not worth the emotional and physical struggles that come along with it."
