For Acne "I have been using Aczone for about a month now. I have had acne for years. I am now 26 and have recently experienced a pretty bad flare-up of my acne, so for the first time, I went to the dermatologist. After a couple of bad products, I finally got introduced to Aczone...and I love it. Since starting on it, my skin has cleared up dramatically without peeling or sensitivity issues. I use it once a day and have managed to still be using the tiny 3 g tube that I got as a sample, so a little goes a long way. I have a coupon for it when I finally fill my prescription (which I WILL be doing, regardless of the cost). Also, it's important for me to say that I am not on anything else--just Aczone."

For Acne "I started breaking out for the first time when I turned 20 years old. It was terrible, cystic acne, and I tried everything before going to the dermatologist. When I finally did, I was prescribed Aczone and Retin-A. During the first three weeks, my skin got worse. All my cystic acne rose to the top and turned into whiteheads. My skin also became flaky at the same time from the Retin-A. I wanted to stop and give up, but I'm so glad I didn't. Now my skin is almost completely clear, and it's been 6 weeks. Please don't give up on this treatment. Continue to use it as your doctor prescribed, and you will see results. I still have some redness, but overall, my skin is smooth, and I finally feel comfortable in it!"

For Acne "I am 36 and in the past year began getting cystic acne on my chin, cheeks, and temples. The cysts were incredibly red, itchy, and painful. They never came to a head and seemed to never fully heal. Because they wouldn't heal, I would pick at them. Last week, I broke out with 17 at once. I was very embarrassed, got fed up, and saw a dermatologist. He prescribed Doxycycline and Aczone 2x per day. Amazing results in less than a week! My 'wounds' are all dried up, and I'm dealing with moderate peeling now. It seems as though Aczone immediately remedied the redness. I only woke up with one new pimple, but it healed in 1 day."

For Acne "35 years old, had bad acne on my cheeks and couldn't get rid of it with anything... Tried Aczone (morning) and Clindamycin (night), and acne has disappeared completely. It took about 6 weeks to see major results. Also, Aczone didn't irritate my skin and make it peel off."

For Acne "While pregnant with my 3rd child, in my early 30s, I began getting horrible acne, mostly on my chin. It was a combo of white/blackheads and big cyst-like pimples and a lot of redness! How embarrassing and painful. I saw a handful of physicians who prescribed different combos of oral and topical antibiotics, benzoyl peroxide, Retin-A, and who knows what else, but nothing worked. Very frustrating! So after about 4 years of this (and scars now), I finally saw a derm who prescribed Aczone (twice a day) and Tazarac (every night). These were winners for me! What a relief. It did take at least 4 weeks or so to see a big difference, but my face eventually completely cleared up! The results outweigh the side effects (skin peeling mainly). Worth the $!"

For Acne "I have struggled with mild but persistent acne since I was 11 or so, and am now 21 and finally doing something about it! I am doing 3 things: Doryx (oral antibiotic), Retin-A Micro at night, and Aczone in the mornings (and afternoons sometimes). I have seen huge improvement over the last 3 months, though not perfectly clear (mine is clearly hormonal and stress-related, so that's frustrating). Aczone doesn't dry out my skin and make it flake like other topical creams or gels (especially Benzaclin), and it makes my face feel smooth. Strangely, within the last week, I have noticed some itchiness/dryness and peeling, and I don't know why there is this change. I have been more consistent about putting it on twice a day instead of once, so maybe that's why."

For Acne "Worked great in the beginning for a month or so, but that was about it. Even with my excellent insurance, this wasn't covered, but I was given a coupon which made it FREE. If not, it would've been in the $300 range. That aside, I used all the samples I got, and I saw some results, so I filled the prescription. Long story short, I saw no lasting effects. The good about this, there was no burning, peeling, etc. Out of all the acne creams I used, which is a lot over the course of 10-15 years, tazarotene worked best."

For Acne "BUY THIS MEDICINE! I have struggled with acne for as long as I can remember, and I am about to turn 17. I have tried every acne treatment out there, including Proactive, which I hate to death. It burned my skin horribly and left it peeling dry. Aczone makes my skin feel 100 times better the morning after I wake up. No burning, drying, itching, and will clear your face fast. I also have rosacea, so I used another cream on top of the Aczone that worked perfectly together."

For Acne "I started having adult acne after stopping birth control. I tried atraline, and it helped for a while, but my face always peeled. It never adjusted as promised. Then the acne came back. I was put on an antibiotic. It helped a lot. But then I had to stop taking it because you can't take those long term. My doctor then suggested Aczone, and it's been the best thing I've ever tried. No acne and no peeling skin."

For Acne "I had horrible acne on my back - all over. So bad I almost gave up. I went on birth control and have been applying Aczone twice a day, and it's been working fabulously! Other creams haven't been as effective at all and also bleached my clothes. Aczone doesn't do that. I am also not peeling at all, which I usually get. I also had really bad cystic acne on my neck, and it is completely gone! It's so worth the price."

For Acne "I'm 23. I always had small, mostly unnoticeable blemishes. Just before my 21st birthday, I got pregnant. So my hormones must have changed. I started getting larger pimples with redness, and the breakouts seemed to itch. I went to the dermatologist, and she put me on a regimen that includes Aczone 2x a day, along with Differin gel at night and ampicillin 2x a day, and I wash my face with CeraVe. Though I'm in the 'worse before better' stage, I have to say I like the Aczone. I have extremely sensitive skin, and I have tried many things that result in dryness, redness, peeling, and burning. With Aczone, I don't get anything like that. There's a slight itch that lasts for about a minute. Just remember only a pea-sized amount. CeraVe lotion is good at night."

For Acne "I had clear skin until I had children, and it has gotten worse over the years. I have now been suffering with acne for 20 years, and it only gets worse. I have been using Aczone 7.5% for over a year, twice daily. It does help shrink large, inflamed cysts, but definitely doesn't stop the acne. I gave it 4 stars because it does help with inflammation and doesn't cause dryness or peeling, but if you are looking for something to prevent acne, this isn't it."

For Acne "I got recommended by my derm to use this to treat my acne. It literally burnt my face! My skin feels like leather, and in the first 2 days, my face started peeling extremely bad, and the burning is too much to take. I do not recommend."

For Acne "Aczone has worked wonders on my skin. Clears up my acne breakouts in 1-2 days. Doesn’t cause dryness or flaking and really takes down inflammation. I was using Biacna, and I’ve completely thrown that out after using this. Adult cystic acne and regular breakouts. Highly recommend!"
