For Acne "Only reason I am sharing this experience is because I've literally tried everything and anything you can imagine to get my skin clear. I have a stressful job, which doesn't help either. I tried spironolactone, which made my face even worse, and have tried every prescription face cream there is. I have very sensitive skin that is sensitive to hormonal changes. I went to the derm to get a cortisone shot for a huge cyst and was not planning on going on a new prescription cream until she recommended Aczone. At first, I said no and accepted the fact that my skin was never going to be where I wanted it to be, but she gave me a sample to try before buying, just in case. I was bored one night and decided to start trying it - what else do I have to lose? After 3-4 weeks of Aczone, this changed my skin. I haven't had a prescription cream work this well, and I am almost scared to post this to jinx it - but if you've tried everything and just given up, please try this."

For Acne "I am 36 and in the past year began getting cystic acne on my chin, cheeks, and temples. The cysts were incredibly red, itchy, and painful. They never came to a head and seemed to never fully heal. Because they wouldn't heal, I would pick at them. Last week, I broke out with 17 at once. I was very embarrassed, got fed up, and saw a dermatologist. He prescribed Doxycycline and Aczone 2x per day. Amazing results in less than a week! My 'wounds' are all dried up, and I'm dealing with moderate peeling now. It seems as though Aczone immediately remedied the redness. I only woke up with one new pimple, but it healed in 1 day."

For Acne "I have struggled with mild but persistent acne since I was 11 or so, and am now 21 and finally doing something about it! I am doing 3 things: Doryx (oral antibiotic), Retin-A Micro at night, and Aczone in the mornings (and afternoons sometimes). I have seen huge improvement over the last 3 months, though not perfectly clear (mine is clearly hormonal and stress-related, so that's frustrating). Aczone doesn't dry out my skin and make it flake like other topical creams or gels (especially Benzaclin), and it makes my face feel smooth. Strangely, within the last week, I have noticed some itchiness/dryness and peeling, and I don't know why there is this change. I have been more consistent about putting it on twice a day instead of once, so maybe that's why."

For Acne "Patience, patients! My teenage son is almost pimple-free because of topical Aczone (combined with topical Avar E LS). But be patient! It has taken about 6 months for his skin to really calm down. Some improvement started after about a month of daily use. With time, it has controlled his acne well. He still gets a few pimples, but they heal quickly and are not scarring. A tiny bit of cream goes a long way. He had been getting loads of pimples and horrible cysts. He previously tried benzoyl peroxide (which did very little) and then Retin A (disaster! Crazy breakouts and crusty, itchy skin for 2 months until he gave up). If you want an acne treatment without the side effects of an oral medication, I recommend Aczone highly!"

For Acne "I'm 23. I always had small, mostly unnoticeable blemishes. Just before my 21st birthday, I got pregnant. So my hormones must have changed. I started getting larger pimples with redness, and the breakouts seemed to itch. I went to the dermatologist, and she put me on a regimen that includes Aczone 2x a day, along with Differin gel at night and ampicillin 2x a day, and I wash my face with CeraVe. Though I'm in the 'worse before better' stage, I have to say I like the Aczone. I have extremely sensitive skin, and I have tried many things that result in dryness, redness, peeling, and burning. With Aczone, I don't get anything like that. There's a slight itch that lasts for about a minute. Just remember only a pea-sized amount. CeraVe lotion is good at night."

For Acne "I am so disappointed in this product. I was hoping that it would help. I tried 2 different strengths, but nothing worked. I stuck it out for a month, and it just seemed to get worse and worse. I had cystic acne pop up in areas that I never had before. I also suffer from cystic acne, and mine was pretty much cleared up, except for a few small areas. The affected areas got much worse, and new areas started to pop up. My skin looks scarred and now has to heal after using this product. Everyone is different, so possibly it's just me. I do have lupus, so this may be a factor. I definitely don't suggest it if you have sensitive skin. I have Cigna and met my pharm deductible this year, but CVS wanted to charge $200, and Vons Pavilions covered at 100%."

For Acne "Never written a review, but this product is sensational. Best cream on the market, doesn't irritate skin and is very effective for preventing and healing acne. Works well on the face, but even better on the chest/back, I found. Just a few heads up. Don't use with any hydrogen peroxide-based products (moisturizer cream, etc.), as this will temporarily turn your skin brown. Also, don't apply too much at a time, as it takes a long time to absorb (it will be visible for a short period). After using Accutane, I thought that was the only thing that could really help acne, but this works almost as well."
