For Acne "I've had moderate acne until I was about 15, then it started breaking out severely on my cheeks since I moved to Texas, with the weather and hormones starting to kick in. Also, I was always oily and still am sadly. And going to the dermatologist to figure out how to deal with it. I'm now 17, and I never wear makeup and religiously wash my face and use a toner. I went to the dermatologist recently, and they gave me a prescription of Aczone, and it cleared my face up in about 1 and a half to 2 months. My face burned, purged, and dried (don't pick!), but it helped. You just have to stick with it and give yourself a pep talk that it's worth it at the end. I'm left with a few pimples. It's better than the cystic outbreaks and clogged pores I had."

For Acne "Worked great in the beginning for a month or so, but that was about it. Even with my excellent insurance, this wasn't covered, but I was given a coupon which made it FREE. If not, it would've been in the $300 range. That aside, I used all the samples I got, and I saw some results, so I filled the prescription. Long story short, I saw no lasting effects. The good about this, there was no burning, peeling, etc. Out of all the acne creams I used, which is a lot over the course of 10-15 years, tazarotene worked best."

For Acne "BUY THIS MEDICINE! I have struggled with acne for as long as I can remember, and I am about to turn 17. I have tried every acne treatment out there, including Proactive, which I hate to death. It burned my skin horribly and left it peeling dry. Aczone makes my skin feel 100 times better the morning after I wake up. No burning, drying, itching, and will clear your face fast. I also have rosacea, so I used another cream on top of the Aczone that worked perfectly together."

For Acne "I'm 23. I always had small, mostly unnoticeable blemishes. Just before my 21st birthday, I got pregnant. So my hormones must have changed. I started getting larger pimples with redness, and the breakouts seemed to itch. I went to the dermatologist, and she put me on a regimen that includes Aczone 2x a day, along with Differin gel at night and ampicillin 2x a day, and I wash my face with CeraVe. Though I'm in the 'worse before better' stage, I have to say I like the Aczone. I have extremely sensitive skin, and I have tried many things that result in dryness, redness, peeling, and burning. With Aczone, I don't get anything like that. There's a slight itch that lasts for about a minute. Just remember only a pea-sized amount. CeraVe lotion is good at night."

For Acne "I got recommended by my derm to use this to treat my acne. It literally burnt my face! My skin feels like leather, and in the first 2 days, my face started peeling extremely bad, and the burning is too much to take. I do not recommend."

For Acne "I never suffered too much from acne as a teenager. I would get some breakouts here and there before my period. It wasn't until I was 24 that I started getting bad acne on my cheeks. I went to a dermatologist, and she said it was hormonal. She did prescribe me antibiotics and Aczone. At first, it did burn when I put it on because I had a lot of acne on my cheeks. It does take about two months to see a complete change, but it's completely worth it. My skin is the best it's ever been."

For Acne "It pretty much ruined my skin. I've been using Epiduo for 5 months now, and it worked amazing, and my dermatologist told me if I used Aczone in the morning, my red marks would go away faster. What it did was create more red marks and made it insanely dry and red and horrible. I was on Aczone for 2 months before I gave up like last week, and now it burns whenever I wash my face, so I have to wait a while for this stuff to drain out of my system. Yeah, don't recommend, but maybe it's because I use Epiduo."

For Acne "I used this product for about 6 months. I have very sensitive skin (benzoyl peroxide is my biggest allergen). Aczone gave me a similar reaction to benzoyl: dry, burning, red patches all over my face. Not good if your skin is sensitive and prone to rashes."

For Acne "Ineffective for me. Used as prescribed by the dermatologist in combination with Ziana. Had the sensation of burned skin for one week. Only destroyed my skin, not the acne. I stopped using it after 2 weeks. Acne was hormonal and cured by itself."

For Acne "Aczone did not help my acne at all. It made my skin burn when I applied it and also made my acne somewhat worse than before. Its side effects were extremely prominent, and my skin was dry, red, and irritated. I don't think this is the right medication for me."
