For Bipolar Disorder "I was diagnosed with Bipolar disorder about 6 years ago and had my share of trying different medications to get it under control. After multiple trials with medicines my doctor finally found the right combination for me (Lexapro, lithium, Depakote had sexual side effects, Synthroid, trazodone at night, multivitamins and B-1 vitamin). This combination worked great to get my mood swings under control. Once my mood swings were under control, I started having extreme anxiety attacks. I was then diagnosed with anxiety disorder as well. My doctor prescribed 0.75 mg Klonopin 3 times a day, as needed and it is a lifesaver. Klonopin knocks my anxiety down within 15 min. I have been taking it for 3 yrs with great results."

For Panic Disorder "I feel like the best version of myself on Klonopin. Anything I was worried about is smoothed out, and I can see it for what it really is. As always, my mind makes me believe the tiniest things are huge problems, but Klonopin makes me feel like I can breathe again. My new doctor is the best for giving me the medication I need. I've been on 17 different anti-anxiety medications, including Xanax. This one is the one that actually helps. I've never had to increase my dosage. I take 1 mg as needed, usually no more than 3 times a week. I sleep amazing on Klonopin. (I've gone 2 weeks without sleep before this medication.) I couldn't say enough good things about this. It's saved my life, and I mean that literally. Get yourself a doctor who actually believes in helping people like us."

For Panic Disorder "I took Klonopin from 2011-2016. I only stopped it because my doctor at that time thought I should try something non-benzo-related for my chronic anxiety. I’ve tried Gabapentin, numerous antidepressants, and eventually Ativan without much relief. It’s been just a few weeks since Klonopin has been back into my life, and I am no longer pulling out my hair or feeling heart palpitations in front of large crowds, and I’m even starting conversations with strangers. No more panic attacks at all!! Something I haven’t done in years!! I understand that meds like Klonopin should be used as a last resort because of how addictive they can be, but I feel like Klonopin has saved my life and saved my job. So happy to have you back in my life."

For Panic Disorder "I've had panic disorder for 36 years, in addition to PTSD, and OCD. Clonazepam 1mg twice daily has enabled me to have some sort of life. Panic disorder reduces quality of life, and I more or less live in a bubble. However, integrated with CBT, I am finding that my 'bubble' is expanding. I'm able to go out of the house, drive, and function throughout the day. After taking it for several years with success, my new psych wants me to discontinue it due to addictive properties. So, back to living in my bubble, I guess. Why do they create a useful medication, and then tell you that you can't take it any longer? Doctors overprescribe, FDA cracks down, and those that benefit from it are left in the dirt."

For Insomnia "I am a 48-year-old woman and for the past couple of years, I either never went to sleep or only slept a couple of hours each night. I am not a person who likes to take medication but found myself desperate because lack of sleep was interfering with the quality of my life. I am a teacher and mother, so being sleep deprived was hard. I tried melatonin with little luck. A doctor prescribed Ambien, but I felt so groggy the next morning. Finally, a doctor prescribed Klonopin 0.5 mg and even though I was reluctant, I was desperate and tried it. It worked the first night. I am able to get up in the middle of the night with my children if I need to. I awake feeling refreshed. It has changed my life. I do worry about long-term use but will continue for now."

For Panic Disorder "Caution: this medication is highly effective for almost every anxiety disorder that exists, somewhat TOO helpful, which is how it's easy to abuse it; but doing so will be life devastating. Using this drug responsibly at a reasonable dosage is highly effective in managing anxiety disorders, and I testify that it complements antidepressants very well. Daily users need to prove the benefits outweigh the risks. Taken daily for 5 years, still as effective and no need to 'up my dosage'."

For Panic Disorder "I've only been taking Klonopin for 3 days now, and it has been a complete lifesaver. I was diagnosed with GAD in 2020 after being hospitalized for an extreme panic attack. I only took Prozac then, which did eventually help with my panic disorder. Recently, due to major life changes, my extreme panic had returned. Major hypochondria - I was convinced I had a brain tumor because I had dizziness for days - left a job early to get home for treatment, ended up in the ER again... All for nothing. It was all my panic. My doctor prescribed Prozac once again, but also prescribed Klonopin for immediate results since I was such a wreck. If you have health anxiety, TAKE KLONOPIN. All of my psychosomatic symptoms went away immediately and I felt like I could breathe again."

For Anxiety "This has single-handedly eradicated my free-floating anxiety/stress issues. I have experienced occasional fatigue/sleepiness as the sole side effect. I'm able to function without worry and anxiety about anything. I was wary about trying it but it has been a godsend. I have not taken it for any other purposes other than to rid unwanted anxiety and would recommend to anyone suffering with anxiety issues."

For Panic Disorder "Klonopin saved my life. It’s a shame because some people like myself who have severe anxiety and panic attacks may need a benzo. Doctors force SSRIs down everyone’s throat when we know no antidepressant is stopping a bad panic attack. I don't really care if I am on it the rest of my life. That's mine and my doctor's opinion on it. I'd much rather live a life worth living than suffer for the rest of my life in the dark world I was in before medicine. It is addicting, can be abused, and a tolerance will be met if you take them every day. I have epilepsy so my neurologist wants me on it too. Only advice I can offer is to try and take them as needed if you can. It will work a lot better when you don't take it every day. Best of luck! Don't ever give up."

For Panic Disorder "I was dealing with financial struggles, marital problems, and I couldn’t focus on making a plan to move forward. Klonopin/Clonazepam stopped my heart from racing 24/7 and finally, I could function. Klonopin + an antidepressant did it for me. I’ve never used meds before - if anxiety is getting the best of your life - this is a good solution. Btw, I stopped Clonazepam cold turkey for 6 weeks after 6 months of 3x0.5, sure my heart started racing a little again but went back on full dose, then after 2 months I cut down to just 0.25... so not everyone is affected by the addiction or withdrawal. For those who need this drug, it works miracles. Btw, my doctor didn’t demand to down the dosage, but anyone using meds should always listen to their body and keep to a minimum if possible."

For Anxiety "I have suffered almost all my life (childhood to 52 years old) with anxiety, mood swings, rage, muscle aches, irritable bowel, teeth clenching, heart palpitations, etc., etc., etc. I have been called a hypochondriac. This is the first time I have taken this medicine, and it has helped minimize or completely alleviate my symptoms. I just wish I was given this earlier in my life. It would have saved me from a whole lot of suffering."

For Panic Disorder "I'm diagnosed with Panic Disorder with Agoraphobia. I started to see a doctor at the age of 16. I was on Xanax 1mg till 19-20 years old and it didn't do the trick anymore and made me mean. My doctor put me on Klonopin 2mg, 1 tablet 4 times daily and it's brought my life back."

For Panic Disorder "I have been on Klonopin for 17 years. I started with 0.5mg in the morning with an SSRI. Over the years, all the SSRIs would work for a bit, then I would have to change. In the last year, I lost my husband suddenly at 38 and have changed SSRIs 4 times, and finally said no more. I am currently on 10mg of Lexapro and 1.5mg of Klonopin. The withdrawal of Lexapro and before that Effexor have been hellish. If not for Klonopin, I wouldn't make it through the day. Addictive or not, it works."

For Panic Disorder "I have had anxiety and depression for many years. When I returned from service almost 50 years ago, I had raging panic attacks and agoraphobia. I overcame the agoraphobia and panic attacks through talk therapy, since the Stelazine the clinic gave me made life a living nightmare. I still had anxiety and depression, and about 20 years ago, I was diagnosed with moderate to severe OCD. I have been treated with cognitive therapy, bupropion, and Zoloft successfully. When I have very occasional anxiety that I am unable to control, I have 1 mg Klonopin from my psychiatrist. It works every time. Oddly, I don't feel a calming effect. Instead, I realize that I feel 'normal.' My experience with Klonopin has been positive, probably because I take a dose very occasionally."

For Bipolar Disorder "It really helps me control my mood. I normally take one to two every day depending on what is happening. For example, I completely blew up at my girlfriend the other day over something completely stupid, took one of these, and my anger was gone. It really helps."

For Panic Disorder "I have been on Klonopin for ten years. My doctor took me off for a while, and I was a mess, panic attacks, depression, and almost suicide. Finally, he put me back on it, and I feel 100% better. Klonopin has saved my life. I need it for my severe panic attacks and my depression."

For Panic Disorder "I started having anxiety or panic attacks 30 years ago and 'suffered' through them for almost 10 years. My psych wanted me to experience the anxiety to show how it wasn't harmful and I'd get over it. Well, guess what, I never got over them and my GP wrote me a prescription for Klonopin to take as needed, and it has worked out great. Although I am not 'cured' of my illness, I am able to function, enjoy life, and do things I didn't think would be possible without it. All without any physical side effects. By the way, numerous times I've had skin cancer removed from my face while sitting in a chair for 4-5 hours. I've had dental implants in my mouth, which went on for 2-3 hours. All this was possible with Klonopin."

For Anxiety "For the past few years, I have been suffering from severe anxiety and depression. When my doctor put me on 0.5 mg, I didn't know if it would help or not, but in just a month or two, my life has changed a lot for the better. I've been more self-confident and going out more. It really does help. As people have mentioned before, take the lowest dosage that suits you. It really is a great treatment for anxiety. Though everyone is different, if you're running out of options, you should definitely ask your doctor about it!"

For Panic Disorder "I've been on Klonopin for probably 25 years. It's worked so much better than Xanax. I got down to taking 0.25 at night and 0.25 in the morning. But this year my mom died, and I had been her caregiver for a long time with zero support. I did great until she died, now I'm having panic attacks again. I have fought with myself about upping my dose since I do know what withdrawal is like, but today I took extra. My doctor told me I should. To be honest, I am ready to feel normal again. I'm tired of not being able to participate in life."

For Anxiety "The best anti-anxiety drug I've taken, bar none. Xanax works for me as well, but Klonopin seems to have a more subtle, drawn-out effect on me. I can take it during the day or at night, it doesn't make me sleepy, but I rest better when I take it. It takes a little while to kick in, but that's not a problem for me. Just an all-around godsend."

For Anxiety "I was prescribed Klonopin/Clonazepam after experiencing debilitating anxiety attacks after a close family member was diagnosed with cancer. At first, doctors put me on Zoloft, which made me feel like a complete zombie and didn't relieve my anxiety at all. I quit Zoloft after 3 weeks and switched to therapy and Clonazepam as needed. The first time I took Clonazepam was like being instantly transported from anxiety attack hell to a soothing vacation. It was the first real relief I had in 2 months. 3 years later and I still have a prescription for 0.5 mg as needed for anxiety attacks. I get a bottle of 30 about twice a year. The drug just really works well for anxiety. Makes you feel totally calm and normal."

For Panic Disorder "Works great to stop anxiety and panic attacks. I take the low dose 0.5 mg pill only when needed. However, after using it occasionally for 2 years, I feel I am a little emotionally dependent on it. If I'm out of these pills, I feel nervous. I would recommend using this pill only when in panic or anxiety and also learning other coping strategies, such as regular exercise, meditation, self-talk, yoga, crafts & artwork or something fun & productive, or a relaxing bubble bath!!!"

For Anxiety "I have been on a variety of medicines that never seemed to help me with anxiety. I have been taking 2mg of Klonopin 3 times a day for almost a year, and they have calmed me down tremendously. I was always anxious about everything, from bills to jobs to family...you name it. This medicine, along with journal writing, has also helped manage my anger problems too. I've tried to wean myself off of it several times, but I usually end up anxious and frustrated all over again. I just have to accept that Klonopin is now a part of my life for longer than expected. Two thumbs up!"
