For Muscle Spasm "I suffered for over a decade with neck radiating pain, low back pain into my right foot, and occasional headaches. I have a herniation at C3/4/5 and severe progressed degeneration at C5/6. I received neck shots to my right elbow and experienced tingling in three right fingers (Erb's Palsy). I finally changed my lifestyle to include organic foods and white meats. In due time, I went down four waist sizes over 8 to 10 months, after my body reset in 2 months. My lower back pain is now only a nuisance and not a 'problem,' and my bloodwork improved from the brink of disaster to excellent. This is the only medication, other than Valium, that I can tolerate in its class. I am in disbelief that this worked on day 2. There was slight confusion and minor dizziness on the first day, but all side effects went away in the first week. I highly suggest you try this medication. I am skeptical but still suggest this one. It's a great find."

Chlorzoxazone for Muscle Spasm "Rx Lorzone 750 mg, bid. Took for 2 days, unable to tolerate. Caused vomiting, dizziness, felt like limbs coated in cement. It worked great on spasms. Headache and other side effects not worth taking the drug. Will stop and tell my doctor."

For Muscle Spasm "The chlorzoxazone has been incredible for my muscle spasm after being unable to tolerate cyclobenzaprine (it completely knocked me out and left me feeling groggy and dizzy the next day). My chronic neck pain really relaxes after taking one of the 500mg pills (the 750 was too strong for me, I'm a 120lb female). However, from my experience only, do not take these pills on an empty stomach. If I do, I get extremely dizzy and my eyes feel like they aren't working right. As long as I have eaten recently, I tolerate these fine and feel much better. I am no longer limited to taking muscle relaxers right before I go to bed when I don't have an early morning."

For Muscle Spasm "Chlorzoxazone works great on spasms, but it can relax the diaphragm and cause burping and trouble breathing, etc. I have ankylosing spondylitis, MS, psoriatic arthritis, and asthma. After radio frequency nerve ablation on my right S.I. joint, my pain mgmt Dr. prescribed the 500mg tablet for daytime. It's been amazing! I take tizanidine at bedtime, but it causes dizziness and nausea if I stand, no good in the daytime. I had a little dizziness the first 2 days, but have been on it for about 8 years, it's allowed me to be functional. As with any med, there can sometimes be severe side effects. If your Dr. doesn't go over the potential interactions or warnings, look it up on a 'trusted' website, preferably the manufacturer. I take so many meds, I always check. I've been having more breathing problems recently, not asthma related, so may stop taking this to see if it improves. I hate to lose this, but I'll see. If you can tolerate it, it can be a game changer."
