Calcium carbonate / simethicone for GERD "I've taken Titralac Plus for years for heartburn, usually after garlic or foods with onions. I think it's magic, relief is immediate! Unfortunately, most of the major drug chains no longer carry this product, which is better than all the others they have on their shelves."

For GERD "Count me as a rarity, I used this product in the middle of a GERD attack. Ten minutes later, I was covered in a rash. By morning, it was hives and vomiting. Ended up in the ER in anaphylactic shock. It was reversed, had to take steroids for five days. I never knew, yes, it's rare, but it can happen."
