Sublocade (buprenorphine) "Sublocade is worth it because you don't have to worry about craving. But my doctor was out of town and my doctor's nurse aid said she knew what she was doing and took two tries to get it right and it hurt so bad all down my legs my back abdomen and ribs. Scarry. Still hurts. Like she hit a muscle. I'm terrified she did something to my body. It was my 4th shot and I know that she didn't do it right. So now she scared me into not wanting it anymore."

Subutex (buprenorphine) "I have been on subutex for about 8 years I was a heroin addict for a year or so. I was diagnosed with PTSD and depression since taking this drug all the pain and fear went away. I still have depression but I'm ok with it. Subutex is a wonder drug. I feel good on it. I am on 26 mg I plan to stay on it for fear of cracking up again as I hurt myself and others after some sort of mental breakdown. Hope this helps."

Subutex (buprenorphine) "I started the Suboxone program about 1 year ago but, I'm now currently taking Subutex. The reason I've been put on Subutex is due to a work related injury and with Suboxone one cannot take any opiates due to the blocker and I need the Subutex because I'll be having surgery soon. Long story short....I WOULD RECOMMEND A SUBOXONE TREATMENT PROGRAM TO ANYONE-YOU DON'T HAVE THOSE "CRAVINGS" YOU ONCE HAD! IF YOU ARE WILLING TO STOP "USING" THIS IS THE BEST PROGRAM AVAILABLE. IN MY OPINION GIVE THE PROGRAM A TRY AND FINALLY YOU WILL FEEL NORMAL AGAIN- IT'S AMAZING HOW WONDERFUL YOU FEEL KNOWING YOU ARE CLEAN AND MOST IMPORTANTLY YOU ARE FINALLY BACK TO YOUR OLD SELF AGAIN."

Sublocade (buprenorphine) "Was prescribed the tablets (then, films) for 2 years before I finally got the Sublocade injection. I did not dose as normal on the morning of the injection. The injection *burned* going in, lasting about 1-2 minutes. Right away I could tell that a decent amount of buprenorphine had entered my system. I told my doctor that I hadn't dosed my films that morning; he suggested that it might help to take 1 or 2 films, in addition to the injection. I took 2 films and, no doubt about it, I had a significant amount of bupe in my system. Slept really good that first night, and when I woke up I could tell that I'd woken up with a good amount of bupe already in my system. And this matches clinical trials data that 'Tmax', following first injection, is at about 24 hours -- i.e., an initial peak in plasma bupe levels occurs about 24 hours after the initial injection. So now am waiting to see what the coming days bring. My hope is that I'll be totally free from having to put things under my tongue."

Subutex (buprenorphine) "I’m 34 years old and have had issues with opiates since I was 19. Stayed clean for 6 years after a long and painful withdrawal from methadone that left me feeling like rubbish for 6 months after acute withdrawal symptoms had ended. Relapsed 8 months ago and went to my intake appointment this morning 2 days into withdrawals from a 90-200+ mg per day morphine habit. Walked out of the clinic with 10 mg of subutex in my system feeling “normal” for the first time in months. I had forgotten what that feels like. A huge burden has been lifted off my shoulders. The relief is indescribable- not only from the physical and emotional pain of opiate withdrawal, but relief that I now have a future to look forward to. Miracle drug in my opinion."

Probuphine (buprenorphine) "I spent half my adult life addicted to opiates. Every effort, every treatment, every commitment failed. Probuphine is the only treatment that worked long term. I was able to immediately have a normal life without cravings, or worrying about Suboxone regimens. It works, it saved my life."

Sublocade (buprenorphine) "I am unsure about this shot. I have gotten it twice now and had to fight for the second injection. The first time I got it I was only two in 5,000 people where the shot didn’t properly dissolve into my body and I had extreme withdrawals after two days. They even did a urine and blood test and my bup scores were 500 on the strips and down to 70 by the time they believed I was in withdrawal and put me back on to strips. I just got my second one by a different doctor after the doctors spoke to pharma and any other doctors about their opinions on me getting a second dose because I want off suboxone, I’ve been stuck on it for 5 years and had two children during this time. I want to be free and I experience insane withdrawal when I wean off of strips. So it’s day two and I am getting some hot and cold sweats but feel a little more tired than last time and I am not feeling as “sick” as last time. I am so hopeful! I will update this in 10 days! :)"

Subutex (buprenorphine) "After 5 years of abusing my body, my family, everyone around me. I finally went to detox. I cannot say this enough, YOU HAVE TO WANT THIS. Just by taking Subutex isn't going to change your life, you have to change your life, you have to want this. Either stay dirty or stay clean. I have 2 years clean now and love life, I live life now. No more looking for a pill. I got plenty in the cabinet for once. For those that have done it, bravo, the storm might have been rough, but we all made it alive."

Subutex (buprenorphine) "Have to agree with many others who have already commented. This medication saved my life. It is important to realize you have to really want to quit using for it to be successful. I had to make meetings a regular part of my life and leave all those behind who continue to abuse drugs. It was really difficult but a lot easier than the last couple of times I'd tried without Suboxone. When I started Suboxone I'd spent 4 months without using but in complete misery. I was in a perpetual state of opiate withdrawal. I couldn't experience feelings anymore, or sleep. My body couldn't even regulate its temperature anymore. After induction I felt normal for the first time in many, many years. No more withdrawals or suicidal depression."

Sublocade (buprenorphine) "I got addicted to prescription opiates my senior year of high school. After my entire senior year taking pills everyday I was put on Suboxone. Long story short I should’ve never been on it then because I wasn’t ready to be done using. I spent multiple years on it and had to taper off and the withdrawal was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. Fast forward multiple years, I had gone to 5 rehabs and couldn’t stay sober until I got on methadone. I stayed clean for 2 years and fell off during covid and was using fentanyl. I got on Suboxone again and went through my last rehab and that’s where I heard about sublocade. I just have to say it has been a miracle drug for sure. I thought all the reviews I read couldn’t be possible but it is. I’ve done the injection for 12 months and I just got my last shot. 10/10 recommend this if you can’t get off oral Suboxone."

Sublocade (buprenorphine) "For those interested in the science (The terms/keywords are helpful) Google/ Search: - Buperenorphine plasma levels sublocade - Stabilization dose sublocade - Go to sublocade official site Faq & videos - How is Sublocade released - Daily stabilization levels Subutex Vs. Sublocade - Comparison of suboxone and sublocade - long-acting buprenorphine study - I have seen studies comparing Subutex dosage to Sublocade dosage, which seem to suggest that the Sublocade is more effective. Also, they are still finding new methods to wean people off if they feel confident they can go without crutches... gradually reducing the amount of the shot/ increasing the time between dosing — or — there is still the option of manually dosing with the strips. There are several tools/ options, find the right help for your specific situation. -"

Subutex (buprenorphine) "I'm so pleased to read so many comments that Subutex has saved people's lives because since being found unconscious from a massive overdose in a gutter and according to the paramedics 5-10 minutes from death (which took 12 hours on an antidote machine to regain consciousness) I too can testify that Subutex has saved my life. Obviously your circumstances and support network are also vital however Subutex is a miracle! I only wish we could respond to each other on here and converse in a therapeutic and helpful way to those who may be in a dire situation with addiction and feel they have no way out, TRUST ME PLEASE, with SUBUTEX YOU DO!! Addicts fear withdrawals from methadone far, far more than even heroin but Subutex is totally different, has minimal side effects and you can stay on it for years without it degrading your health. Subutex has enabled me so that I do not have to spend all day every day obsessing about my next score and have focus and regain a taste for life and living."

Subutex (buprenorphine) "I suffered with chronic pain for 10 years. Used fentynal pain patches and codeine number 4. Did very well until the heat and my hormones made the patch secrete crazy ways, making me sick for about 9 months. I wanted off these patches and was referred to great doctors, and started the Subutex 8 mg and have been a new person since it began. I did have to increase one half pill after about 6 months, does your body get used to the Subutex, or is my body changing? I'm also menopausal, depressed and Subutex seems to help with these issues also. "

Probuphine (buprenorphine) "This is an amazing drug. Suboxone was like a miracle drug for me but I always felt like it's effects would wear off prior to the next dose. On Probuphine I feel completely normal, don't have cravings, don't have those fluctuations in feeling it's effects. I don't ever feel it's effects- just feel normal. My mood has been good, sleeping well, and it has been handling my chronic pain okay so far. Maybe the greatest thing is not having to deal with the pharmacy every few weeks. That always stressed me out. Now, medication is just always there! It's awesome!"

Sublocade (buprenorphine) "I was one of the first to try Sublocade and it has completely turned my life around. It really makes you feel normal and you don't experience any changing in levels, up or down. I now forget about having my next appointment because you don't even think about it. The shot is painful but it is over quick. If you have insurance the co-pay assistance program is excellent and it only costs me $5 per month out of pocket. I have had almost 24 injections so far and did not have any infections or issues. The reviews were people had necrosis has scared me a little but I luckily have not had a problem. I did the typical schedule to start with 300 mg and move to 100 mg. For me it felt like week 4 of the 100 mg shot was underpowered so I went back up to 300mg and that really did the trick. Be careful if you plan on taking sublocade as you can get really bad precip withdrawals just like any other bupe medication. I would probably not go from illicit drugs to sublocade-do films first then transition."

Sublocade (buprenorphine) "I was opioid dependent for 20 years. Detoxed in jail. I made it 11 months in drug court before getting a positive UA. I only used 3 times in 11 months. I got the sublocade injection just so they wouldn't kick me out of the program. The next 5 months I received the typical two 300mg injections, then received three 100 mg injections, I'm graduating the program in 3 weeks, and haven't gotten the injection in 2 months. The studies I viewed found detectable bupe levels for up to 38 months after their last injection. So after you get a few shots you're good as far as withdrawals go for a long time, if ever. Idk how long the effectiveness against cravings last, but I'd guess its effective for months after your last one. I'd highly suggest anyone struggling with OUD to give sublocade a try, it works great, and you can't cheat the system or yourself by skipping doses to get high. You only have to think about it once every 30 days, so you are living a normal life 99.9% of the time. The injection does burn quite a bit, but its absolutely worth it !"

Sublocade (buprenorphine) "The stuff is great but the price is insane $1600 dollors. For a month of meds. Just go on methadone way cheaper and its just as good. What a ripoff. I see pharmacy companies are looking for other big money drugs like they made a killing on opioids now this. It is supposed to help people not robbed them unbelievable."

Subutex (buprenorphine) "I started taking heroin in 1998. I was then put on a methadone program in 2004 and at the time I thought that would be all my problems solved but when you are on methadone you tend to still use heroin because you know you've got your methadone 2 fall back on. So I started Subutex 8mg 1 month ago and have never used heroin because there is no withdrawals at all."

"This medication is a life saver. After years of taking Oxycodone and Oxycontin, I found myself at a Methadone clinic. Methadone kept me in hibernation state of mind. I would sleep all my days away and felt trapped by the daily visits to the clinic. Buprenorphine changed my life. I was able to lead a fully functional life again. I no longer slept my life away and was able to hold a job and become a productive member of society again. Some people will try to discredit buprenorphine but that's because they still want to be high on opiates. If someone you love is addicted they have 3 options...jail...death or buprenorphine. I'm living proof it works. I'm four years clean thanks solely to buprenorphine."

Subutex (buprenorphine) "I would agree this medicine does nothing good for your teeth. I have had perfect teeth most of my life and I have been on this medicine for 11 years. At age 61 most of my back teeth are broken and I have to have repaired which is extremely costly. It worked wonders in the beginning for withdrawal and depression, like unreal. That being said, I still take it and I am contemplating whether or not I will continue."

Sublocade (buprenorphine) "Got my first 300mg injection on 4/6/21. I've been on buprenorphine since October 11, 2010. So this October will be 11 years. 11 years of twice a month, or monthly appts, visits to the pharmacy, random counts and UA's. This medication I hope is what every addiction on maintainenance needs to get off. 24 hours after injection is the peak levels. I can attest that the first 2 days I felt amazing. Today is 1 week of not taking anything. Knowing I have a back up plan in case something comes up and I feel sick is keeping me calm. Today I feel a little more tired than usual. But nothing I can't push through! I will update again in a few weeks! But as of right now I am so glad I bucked up and did it. It certainly burns like anything going in, although it wasn't unbearable. The "depot" of the drug in my abdomen takes some getting used to. Every time I bump it it swells and hurts. Swelling and bruising have gone away as well."
