"Could not sleep at all, but very drowsy all day at work. Joints very painful that used to be okay with Tylenol, poured cream into my water glass instead of my freshly brewed coffee, legs swell, hot flashes constantly but never before this medication. Terrible headaches and toes would curl up, making walking difficult. High blood pressure is easier to live with than these expensive, painful drugs."

"For high blood pressure. I'm a 67-year-old male. My BP was 150-(160)/85-(100), so family doctor put me on amlodipine/perindopril 5 mg. I only took two 5 mg tablets and had awful side effects, and the experience started. First day: severe dizziness, headache, hot flashes, and a weird feeling. Second day: all of the above plus high anxiety, breathlessness, chest tightness, and sharp pains in my lower abdomen, and I can't urinate. Not able to sleep all night. I’m happy to ride out side effects, but this drug is scary. First time I’d taken blood pressure meds, and it really scared me. Disappointed. I stopped it myself. Not in a hurry to try an alternative one. I am gonna try natural ways to lower my blood pressure, more exercise, and diet. Don’t take this drug, it is awful. 1 / 10"
