"The medicine itself is great. The sealed pouches can go straight to the bin! Whoever decided to change the individual packets should not only be fired, but should also be put in prison for 9 days! Minimum! Ok, 4 days. By the way, I'm switching to BC headache powders immediately and urge everyone on the planet to do the same and never ever use Goody's again. You should have changed the name to... Goody luck getting the powder out of the packet, fool. Stupid! Quality control, anyone?"

"I have been taking Goody powders for a little over 30 years because they're wonderful for getting rid of headaches and other pains. I absolutely hate the new packaging on the go, it's so hard to get all of the powder out, and sometimes it doesn't come all the way out. Like the other person said in Tennessee, it's humid, and that's where I'm at. Please go back to the fold-over packaging."

"I wouldn't even belabor (argue or discuss) the point of having to shake the packet, try to take the product, see that half of it is stuck in the bottom, shake the packet again, tear the packet down the side to get to the rest of the product. If the formula were the same and the product worked as it did previously, it might be OK, but it isn't and it doesn't. No, it isn't psychosomatic on my part. Goody's has been the go-to pain reliever in my house for 20 years or more, and I have simply stopped purchasing them. Please bring the original product back."

"I am 60 years old and have been using Goody's for at least 40 years. This new packaging you guys have developed is terrible. Hard to get in, and since I have chronic neck pain, I cannot get the product out! So I am switching to something else unless you go back to the original packaging."

"I’m 68 and have osteoarthritis. I’ve been using Goody’s powders for a long time to relieve joint pain. Goody’s powders work. But I also hate the new packaging. The old folding packets were much easier to open and use. Please bring them back."

"Forced to get what little product one can before tearing the package in tweezer fashion and having to hit somewhere around one’s mouth with the remainder. What an absolutely asinine idea. Not worth the effort anymore..."

"Excedrin is my go-to for headaches and general aches and pains. When it wasn't available for almost a year, I tried everything else. Nothing works as good. I even prefer it over some prescription medications for pain."

"Maybe the managers bought stock in Excedrin, that's the only reason I can see for such a universally hated change. It worked! I can just crush an Excedrin when I get a headache. At least I'll get all I paid for - and not just wear it on my front."

"Goody's is my go-to for fast headache relief, but the new sealed packets are terrible. There is nothing good about them. Goody's, please stop trying to solve a problem that isn't there. The folded paper is a perfect design. I'm sure it's even cheaper to make than the new sealed packs. The folded paper is much easier to dump into one location inside your mouth. These new sealed packets force you to shake and tap them to get the powder to fall out, which then gets all over the inside of your mouth and throat. Terrible idea! Everyone that I know hates these new packets too. Please go back to what has worked perfectly for the last 10+ years and leave it alone after that. There's no need to fix something that isn't broken. I would have given a 10-star if it wasn't for the horrible new packets."

"I take these for headache/backache/arthritis. I am so sad and upset over the new packaging - been using it for a couple of months now and I don’t like it one bit better now than I did when I tried the first one. The powder goes everywhere! Takes 2-3-4 tries to get it all into your mouth and then you have a shower of residue down the front of your shirt! Not only is it a colossal aggravation, but you look like a moron trying to take one in public and forget it altogether while you’re driving! Just a small note of interest... My grandmother knew Doc Goody personally in Concord, NC. During the Depression, Doc Goody hired her and another local lady to work at his home in the evening - after their hosiery mill shift - to sit and fold and package Goody powders for sale. She always spoke fondly of him and he gave her four kids some free medical care too. If this was done due to some kind of a safety concern, can’t you change the outer packaging and leave the inside packaging alone?"

"Love 'em for my lower back pain! Fast and effective. Plus, I like that it has caffeine in it for just a little extra pep at work. However, I must echo the sentiments of many other posters on here: the Go-Packs are terrible! Sometimes, I have to thump the pack really hard just to get all the medicine out. I prefer the simple, traditional wax envelopes much, much more!"

"I used to love the old Goodies in the old packages, but they taste different, they don’t work, so I say, don’t buy the new ones. They will see that they need to change back. Coke helped the headache."

"I have used Goody's for years. They work great. But the new packaging stinks. I can't get all the powder out without pulling it apart and licking it. The old packaging was much easier. PLEASE go back to the old packaging."

"The new packaging is a complete FAILURE! I have had to cut a small piece of paper to carry with the product. I have to pour the contents of the stupid tube in the paper with great effort to get it out into the paper to take in the way that has always worked. As a longtime loyal customer, I beg you to fix this!!"

"My husband, father-in-law, mom, sister, brother, aunt, and I cannot stand the new to-go packs. You have to beat them down to the bottom. Then you have to keep flipping the pack to get the bottom powder out into your mouth. Then still get upset because you miss your mouth. Seriously, do you use your product? How can you not see how horrific it is? Please change them back."

"I take prescription meds for my chronic pain, arthritis, fibromyalgia, and migraines, but my Goody's powders help boost my relief quicker and really help in between meds. I hate to be negative, but I really despise the new packaging! Please give us the option of one or the other. The folded paper is much easier for me to use! I have a very hard time with new packaging."

"I hate the new Goody package. I thought I was the only one that noticed that they don't taste the same. My neighbor takes them as well, so I gave them to him. He sent them back and said he didn't like them. I have found the 6-pack and 2-pack at the Kroger in Mississippi. PLEASE BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL PACKAGE."

"I am so happy to see that I am not the only one who hates the new packaging. Not only is it a pain to get the powder out, it's not the same amount of powder in the new packaging as the old. I compared the contents of both, and we are being duped. If I find the old packages at the gas stations, I buy every pack that's available. Very unhappy longtime customer!"

"What is wrong with Goody's now? I have been taking them for years, they never made me sick. Now it upsets my stomach. And it no longer works. You changed something that was very good to something that is very bad. I'm done with Goody's powders."

"By far your worst decision was to change the packaging. Did anyone ever test the new packaging before production? Apparently not. Something needs to be changed. New 'sticks on the go' packets will remain on the shelf when I walk by. I’m done with them!"

"This medicine is the best. I have taken it for headaches, migraines, pains in my foot and elsewhere throughout my body. Most of the time, comfort comes in just a few minutes. Occasionally, it does take longer or requires a second dose. Very rare though. I recommend, if you are having to take these daily like I did, to also get a stool softener as it can sometimes lead to constipation. Overall, I take this instead of the narcotics that doctors seem to want everyone to be hooked on. I only have to take these every now and then now. I hope this helps someone looking for pain relief."

"I have used Goody powders and BCs for over 30 years. The new stick packs are awful. They are hard to get the powder out of... always some left in the package. Also, there is not as much in the new package as in the old. Not sure who you think you are fooling."

"My sister took these since she lost her insurance, and they were the ones she felt helped her pain. Well, she got sick and had to call an ambulance. She was admitted to ICU. She had multiple holes in her stomach and intestines. She was on life support off and on for nine months. Her organs were failing, and she started flatlining, and I eventually had to make the decision to take her off of life support, and she died while I was there. She was only 41 when she died. I suggest no one take this medicine, as it can kill you. To watch your loved one die a slow and painful death is heartbreaking."

"I hate the new packaging, and they don't work as well as they used to and cost more than ever. I've taken Goody powders for probably close to 30 years, and they have always worked great. I get better results now if I take BC powder and take a Tylenol with them. WHY CHANGE SOMETHING THAT WORKED SO WELL."

"Took 2 every morning for 10 years. If I forgot to take it, I immediately noticed my aches and pains and general malaise. While hospitalized for 49 days, I wasn’t taking it - I lost 17 pounds and had a normal appetite. A few weeks after returning home, with no changes to my activities or diet, I started taking 2 Excedrin again every morning. Within a few days, I started gaining my weight back. I have again discontinued use, and I am losing weight again."
