"I was diagnosed with RA at age 40. The doctor had me on Plaquenil and anti-inflammatories for years. The RA went into remission for several years but came roaring back at age 62. The doctor put me again on Plaquenil, Celebrex, and prednisone, which put a lot of weight on, with little relief of pain, swelling, and fingers/wrists starting to get deformed. Then she added Methotrexate, which caused my legs to swell and skin bruising. Moved to Florida and found a wonderful rheumatologist that put me on monthly Orencia infusions. Let me tell you, Orencia has been a game changer for me. I have no side effects, and after 5 months, the swelling and pain are gone. I can go to the gym, play golf, hike, and bike. Thank you, Orencia! I have my life back."
