What is Norgesic Forte?
Norgesic Forte is a combination medicine that is used together with rest and physical therapy to treat painful muscular conditions.

Norgesic Forte side effects
Get emergency medical help if you have signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficult breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.
Norgesic Forte may cause serious side effects. Call your doctor at once if you have:

confusion, anxiety;
-
fast or pounding heartbeats, fluttering in your chest;
-
tremors;
-
little or no urination;
-
eye pain, vision problems; or
-
a light-headed feeling, like you might pass out.
Common side effects of Norgesic Forte may include:

blurred vision;
-
dizziness, drowsiness, weakness;
-
headache; or
-
nausea, vomiting, constipation.

Warnings
Follow all directions on your medicine label and package. Tell each of your healthcare providers about all your medical conditions, allergies, and all medicines you use.
Before taking this medicine
You should not use Norgesic Forte if you are allergic to aspirin, caffeine, or orphenadrine, or if you have:

a blockage in your digestive tract (stomach or intestines);
-
a bladder obstruction or other urination problems;
-
problems with the muscles in your esophagus (the tube that connects your mouth and stomach).
Tell your doctor if you have ever had:
-
a stomach ulcer; or
-
a bleeding or blood clotting disorder.
Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Do not give this medicine to anyone with a fever, flu symptoms, or chickenpox. Aspirin can cause Reye's syndrome, a serious and sometimes fatal condition.
Norgesic Forte is not approved for use by anyone younger than 12 years old.
How should I take Norgesic Forte?
Follow all directions on your prescription label and read all medication guides or instruction sheets. Use the medicine exactly as directed.
Call your doctor if your symptoms do not improve, or if they get worse.
If you use this medicine long-term, you may need frequent medical tests.
Store at room temperature away from moisture and heat.
What happens if I miss a dose?
Take the medicine as soon as you can, but skip the missed dose if it is almost time for your next dose. Do not take two doses at one time.

Seek emergency medical attention or call the Poison Help line at 1-800-222-1222.
What should I avoid while taking Norgesic Forte?
Avoid driving or hazardous activity until you know how Norgesic Forte will affect you. Your reactions could be impaired.
Ask a doctor or pharmacist before using other medicines for pain, fever, swelling, or cold/flu symptoms. They may contain aspirin or other salicylates.
What other drugs will affect Norgesic Forte?
Other drugs may affect Norgesic Forte, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal products. Tell your doctor about all your current medicines and any medicine you start or stop using.
