"Ever since my doctor prescribed Ubrelvy, I was reluctant, but the first time I took it with my symptoms already starting, it worked. There are also coupons I was told to get online that made it only cost 10 dollars. So worth it. It sure beats all the rest of them. Hopefully, the coupon after a year is another one to use. Recommend this to anyone who gets hit hard by the pain."

"This Ubrelvy definitely works for the migraine pain, but the side effects were not fun for me at all. Stomach issues, felt very out of it, and a very bad heat intolerance. I'm bummed because it did work for me, but the side effects are not worth it."

"I wanted to love Ubrelvy so much. Unfortunately, it just isn’t for me. After trying it on 4 separate occasions, my migraines became worse after every time. I always ended up taking Excedrin Migraine a couple of hours later, which did the trick immediately. This was my first time trying a prescription migraine medicine, so I was bummed about my negative experience."

"I have had migraines for about 40 years with little success with meds. Before Ubrelvy, I was prescribed Rizatriptan, which caused a mild stroke. Then the neurologist prescribed Ubrelvy, which I was eager to try. Absolutely does not work. At $1000 retail for 10 pills, the cost is exorbitant. My insurance coverage was $850, so it still cost me $150 for 10 pills, which was way too much. Would not buy again. Back to Excedrin Migraine, even though it has a risk of stomach ulcers."

"I know people either love it or hate it, but I'm in the middle here. I took it for the first time today when I noticed I had a slight migraine with a little light sensitivity. I'd say the migraine was a 3 or 4, and a storm was coming, so I expected it to get worse. I took the pill and then tried to forget about it, so I wouldn't anticipate any side effects into existence. I did get slight nausea & mouth watering, but that was alleviated by laying down. I also had some chills. The headache went up to a 5 or 6 before getting better. I did get very sleepy, so after about 4 hours of sleep, I woke up without the migraine at all. I didn't have brain fog, so that's a benefit over Zomig, which is usually what I take. At least with Zomig, I know it's working when I feel the side effects and it kicks in quicker. Ubrelvy takes forever, and I don't think I'll be using it if I'm out or in the office since I think I'll need a bed nearby. Advice: at first, take it with a mild migraine & don't drive."

"Ubrelvy works well for me, though it is slow-acting. Chronic migraines for 40 years. I've tried most preventive and acute meds. Triptans (I've tried them all since 1992) work for me but cause debilitating fatigue and body aches, which have gotten worse. Ubrelvy has had no side effects for me (taken 8 times), but it needs 3-4 hours for pain relief to kick in. 100 mg is somewhat faster than 50 mg. Only once has the migraine pain returned that day. Much better results for me, as I don't lose the whole day to pain or med side effects. Very grateful to have a new acute treatment option. Mfr copay card covered most of the cost."

"Made my boyfriend fall asleep instantly. When he woke up two hours later, he still had a bad migraine with the new addition of excessive sleepiness. This pill will put you to BED. And it did nothing for his head."

"I love Ubrelvy. Grateful for this new drug. Got rid of my migraines each time—though it does take longer to kick in than triptans (sometimes 1-2-3 hours). Makes me drowsy, but I do not mind it because my migraines happened at night. I am thrilled with not having to worry about the possible serious cardiovascular/stroke side effects that accompany triptans."

"I'm 66, female. Had migraines for years. Finally used Imitrex, and it worked great at about 1 hour and totally gone at about 2-3 hours. When Ubrelvy came out, my new doc REALLY pushed it. I asked about taking Imitrex nasally for a quicker response. I ended up taking Ubrelvy 100 mg, and not only did it NOT help with a migraine I had, it made it worse. Light sensitive. I never took it again, but now I'm light-sensitive. I can't even have certain lights on in the house, and it's almost impossible to drive at night. I still have migraines about 2-4 a month and looked into faster-acting drugs like Imitrex. I found Rizatriptan ODT, it melts on my tongue, and it works FAST! Great, no side effects. I LOVE IT! No thanks to the doctors, though, geez, I had to do this myself!"

"Seemed to work amazing the first time, but the next two times made me feel strange and caused vomiting. Never had this issue with Maxalt. Does not seem insurance will cover it anyway (currently using samples from my doctor), even with the copay card that was offered, it was declined, and $850 for ten pills is ridiculous... especially for something that makes me throw up and puts me to sleep for six hours. May as well just experience the migraine for free."

"It definitely works to stop my migraines. Initially, I felt a little dizzy and my vision was blurry when I took it, so I was careful not to drive (I typically can't anyway with a migraine). I soon got used to it, and other than a little drowsiness sometimes-which also could be explained by poor sleep with migraine pain-I suffer no apparent side effects now. My migraines are triggered by weather changes (wind, pressure, cold) and by environmental allergies; I am suffering terribly lately in rural NJ. I hope that FDA approval for more doses per month will be granted so I can get through these intense seasonal episodes."

"Have bad migraines, Ubrelvy works great. I take 100 mg when I get an attack, it really does work in two hours, and it seems to prevent or lessen my migraines. It is not addictive and has no real side effects. It might not work for everyone, but I will swear by it."

"Very disappointed with Ubrelvy. I had a bad migraine and was asleep when it started for other rescue meds. I waited too long, so I thought perfect time for Ubrelvy. It did not work at all for me. Thankful I have a prescription for Sumatriptan injections. I took that, and it was gone in an hour, and it was a bad one. My insurance pays for Ubrelvy, but it is not worth refilling. Sumatriptan injections work, but sometimes you feel really tired after taking them and sometimes the next day. Ubrelvy is $92 per pill cash price. Not worth $1 for the treatment."

"I have daily chronic headaches. I’ve tried more things than I can remember over 20 years. I was given this drug as a sample. I can’t really offer a lot of good things because I noticed that my tongue was swollen from a reaction from the drug. Discontinued for that reason."

"I tried after seeing a professional tennis player's ad, then asked my neurologist about it. It was just prescribed, and I received a coupon card, otherwise, it would have been $1,100 for 8 pills. Took the 1st and nothing, 2 hours later, took the 2nd dose and my migraine seemed to get worse. Then, 4 hours later, I had terrible diarrhea. But had zero nausea. Didn’t work for me, but I hope it works for you."

"I had been fearful to take this, as it's my first time using any migraine medication. Migraines started 15 years ago, lasting around 24 hours every couple of months, then progressing to a full 3 days every week. I was on my 3rd day today of this migraine and I just have had enough. In 15 minutes, I felt a pleasant sensation on the top of my head and after 5 minutes, it was gone. The only side effect I noticed was a slight upset stomach, I ate some crackers and feel fine. For me, this is wonderful for my first time."

"Took Ubrelvy at 10 pm, pretty bad migraine (not the worst, but bad), seemed to help, but within the first 1/2 hour my heart started to race and it felt like an elephant was sitting on my chest. Has anyone had this experience? I will NEVER take this med again, too scared."

"Ubrelvy has been an amazing medication in treating my migraines! I have suffered from debilitating migraines for over 10 years, and nothing has really helped without horrible side effects. Because of this, my doctor prescribed Ubrelvy, and it actually treats my migraine headaches and works without any unwanted side effects. It has proven to be the most effective migraine headache medication without any side effects. Thank you so much."

"I have suffered with migraines for over 30 years, the last five years or so, they have become chronic and daily. Imitrex works for me, but I have to take so much of it! I tried a sample of Ubrelvy from my neurologist, and I went three days without a migraine. Miracle drug, right? No, unfortunately, I have now tried it three more times, and each time it has made my headache worse! So disappointed, again! Will discontinue. I wanted to see if anyone else had this experience, so I’m glad to see I am not alone. Holding out hope for Nurtec!"

"Tried Ubrelvy at the recommendation of my neurologist and will never take it again. Within an hour of taking it, I began feeling very agitated, panicky, and unable to think clearly, as if my brain was in a fog. That lasted for hours as the headache continued. Then I started to have serious body aches, to the extent I wondered if my headache was actually the onset of flu or COVID since I had the type of painful body aches associated with illness and high fevers. Four hours after taking Ubrelvy, the body aches were so severe I could hardly walk but made it to the bathroom to take 2 extra strength Tylenol. I was finally able to fall asleep but woke up again in night sweats and feeling dizzy. The following morning, my headache and all other side effects were completely gone, but I had horrible diarrhea. Never again."

"Ubrelvy 100 mg works amazing for me. Sumatriptan didn’t touch my migraines and made me feel super drowsy and foggy. Similar experience with Nurtec, which made me nauseated and sleepy. Oftentimes, my migraine is gone in less than 20 minutes after taking Ubrelvy. I’m so glad to have something that works and doesn’t give me side effects!"

"I was very hopeful for Ubrelvy. I have used many migraine medicines over 20 years. Imitrex has been the only medicine that is effective in breaking the headache. But it has so many horrible side effects like neck pain, sensitive skin, painful hair, body pain, hangover headaches, and nausea. Ubrelvy worked the first 2 times I took it - with NO side effects. It appeared to be a miracle drug. I’ve taken it 14 more times, and it only broke my migraine 1/2 the time - only works 50% of the time. Unacceptable when experiencing a migraine. I would wait 4-5 hours for it to work and then have to take Imitrex when Ubrelvy didn’t work. Which means I am doubling medicine and waiting up to 5 additional hours to treat the migraine while I wait to see if the Ubrelvy will work. So disappointed and wondering why it doesn’t work every time. Back to horrible Imitrex."

"So far, so good. I have been taking this med for the last 10 months. I do take 10 to 15 pills per month as I get episodes in one month. This is the only med that helps me out with migraines, nothing else is effective. I wish insurance would do its part, as my portion for 10 pills is $200. This med is the best so far, working on me."

"Ubrelvy knocks out the most serious migraines within 30-40 minutes without the exhaustion and hangover effect or the issue of having loss of vocabulary. I did have to get a prior authorization through my insurance to get it covered."

"I've had migraines for over 25 years and tried every single thing there is out there, if it's prescribed or over the counter. I was given this Ubrelvy and was so hopeful it would work. In fact, I was so happy that it did. Happy my neurologist gave it to me. So relieved. Thank you, doc!! I know this is an expensive drug, but I'm lucky I'm 100% covered, being I'm disabled!"
