For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I began my weight loss journey in late January 2024. Over the next 12 months, I lost 40 pounds. However, I've hit a plateau for the past four months, since the end of November 2024, and it's now February 25, 2025. I still need to lose at least another 40 pounds. Zepbound has been a significant help in my journey. My clothes fit much better, and I've gone from a size XXL to a medium. In addition to Zepbound, I also strength train, maintain a healthy diet, and track my calorie intake. The only side effects I've experienced with Zepbound are occasional acid reflux, mild nausea, and some constipation. Currently, I am on 12.5 mg, but my doctor has decided to update my dosage to the 15 mg to see how I do on that dosage. Hopefully, it will kick me over the plateau and I will end up losing the next 40 pounds that I need to. Other than that, I love Zepbound. I think it’s great."

I am now on 15 mg and still feel great. I drink a protein shake in the morning and a small portion for dinner. The only side effect is nausea."

I don’t feel a lot of hunger and my cravings are not many. I am disappointed in the loss rate, but if it keeps me from gaining back the weight, I’ll be happy. My only side effects have been constipation and minor nausea."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been taking this medication now approaching the 6-month marker, and it has been wonderful for weight loss in my experience so far! I did my starter 2.5 mg dose for the first month and then went to the 5 mg and stayed there for 4 months before deciding to go up to the 7.5 mg, which is what I am currently on. I have definitely experienced some of the side effects, but they are pretty mild and typically only happen the day after taking my weekly shot, and then it gets better except for 1. I am always very nauseous the day after the shot when changing doses, but once I've been on a dose for a couple weeks, the nausea lessens quite a bit. But something that just randomly started happening about halfway into all of this, I started having major skin irritation with the injection spot, which freaked me out only because I had been taking it for months before it started happening just out of nowhere, and it wasn't when I changed a dose or done anything differently, and it's continued to happen every time!"

However, I stopped working, so I switched to trizepitide 2.5 this week. Absolutely no side effects. I've already lost a pound. Once I get below 140, I'm going to go to only 2 shots a month for maintenance. I'm doing this through a clinic. I can't say enough how great I feel. I've done every diet in the book. It's the best gift you'll give yourself ever. I pay $300 for 4 shots."

I am drinking lots of water, but haven’t really eaten anything but a small yogurt and some coffee today. Not sure if I’ll eat anything more today or if I’ll just wait until tomorrow."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started taking this in March 2024. I've had some weight loss (about 30 pounds), but not as much as I anticipated. I occasionally experience nausea and stomach pain, but it's usually after a very fatty meal (avoiding those types of foods minimizes this symptom for me). When I reached the 10 ml dose, I began having an itchy, raised red area surrounding the injection site that dissipates by the end of the week. I had one shot that didn't dispense the needle until I held it up to inspect it. I am happy I started this medication because I did lose weight (and hopefully will continue to) and was able to stop taking metformin! The worst thing about taking this medication is trying to get the prescription filled. I have had more issues trying to get my refills for Zepbound than any prescriptions for opioid pain medication (which I have taken in the past post-surgery due to an allergy to acetaminophen). At first, it was supply issues. Now it's preauths and difficulty staying at a certain dose."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I just started Zepbound in March, and I’m on the 2.5. Let me tell you, it’s a miracle drug. I was 190, and I’m down to 181 in three weeks. I’m losing it slow, and that’s how I’m doing it. The nausea sucked, but I got Zofran for it. I include exercise and water and eating a balanced diet. I use monk fruit for sugar because I’m a huge sugar girl. It’s been an amazing journey so far. I plan to stay on 2.5 because I don’t want to lose it too fast. I don’t have far to go! For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Started on Zepbound 8/16/24. Have concentrated on protein and vegetables, fruit, and occasional treat. Have lost 31 lbs as of 11/2/24. Side effects have been constipation, which was remedied with OTC collagen and senna. Occasional nausea, especially in the beginning of tx. No longer get hungry and, most importantly, no longer get the cravings for unhealthy food. Recently started walking as it is much easier now with 30+ pounds down. Signed up for 2 exercise classes: yoga and weights. Dilkind has been a game changer for me. Presently on 2.5 injections. Easy to use."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "First things first. I'm a 40-year-old woman. My height is 5'9", and my starting weight was 214. During my first month on Zepbound 2.5 mg, I experienced fatigue, dry mouth, and slight constipation. I'm on my second month dosage of 5 mg now, and I'm experiencing nausea and migraines. This is my sixth injection, and the weight fell off during the first month, and now I'm at a standstill. I'm weighing in at 195 for the last 2 weeks. During my first month, I had no carbs at all. I made sure I had at least 120 g of protein a day, and I weight trained four times a week, getting my goal of 10,000 steps a day. I haven't kept that same training routine these past two weeks, which is why I probably haven't lost any weight. I'd say the medicine really works. I'm not looking to stay on long-term. For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I am on my 5th week. Just started 5 mg Friday 04/25/25. I started 03/28/25 on the 2.5 mg. My second day I was nauseous, but nothing Sprite and Zofran couldn’t fix. Fast forward to today. I have been sleeping really well, inflammation is gone, my hunger and food noise is gone. Now I notice the day before my shot day I start to crave some, but I just drink my water to stay full. Also, a little minor constipation. I take a stool softener with my morning vitamins, which helps, plus water, water, water!! I am loving this medicine so far, I am down 10 lbs, which I don’t think that’s bad in 5 weeks."

I didn’t have any issues from the 4 weeks I was on it, once I went to the 5 mg, I started to get nauseous, but nothing I couldn’t tolerate. By March, I had lost 30 lbs. I started at 270 lbs. Unfortunately, at the end of March, there was a shortage, and it was impossible to get it anywhere. But I kept up on exercising and watching what I ate until the shortage was over. In June, I was finally able to get back on Zepbound 5 mg, and so far, I have lost an additional 20 lbs. I am weighing 220 lbs and feeling great! Not gonna lie, after being off of it for a few months, I have been really nauseous."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started in January 2025 with the 2.5 dose. For the first two weeks, I experienced nausea and diarrhea off and on. For the last two weeks, I was fine. I am on my second week of 5 mg. The first week, I was so sick - I take the shot late Friday afternoon - I was in bed most of the day on Saturday with nausea and fatigue. I did vomit once. Sunday was the same. The rest of the week, I felt fine. Second shot last Friday - I was okay on Saturday - able to function but very nauseous. Woke up on Sunday and spent most of the day in bed due to nausea and fatigue. The anti-nausea medicine helps but not so much for me. Today I am functioning with some nausea. The benefits of this drug are obvious. I don't eat as much as I did before the medicine. I've lost 16 lbs so far. The nausea bothers me. I should be able to function and not get sick every weekend after a shot. I no longer have diarrhea - I am constipated instead. When I take Miralax, I cannot think about it or I get sick."

Your appetite decreases, but you can and will have GI side effects: constipation, gas, abdominal pain with overeating, belching, and nausea. Cutting back on carbonated beverages, eating small meals, and increasing protein and fiber is key. Adding nausea medication and Gas-X helps."

I have had occasional waves of nausea, but not so bad that it made me want to quit. My sleep has been disrupted some nights when I can’t go back to sleep after waking up. I’m currently up to 7.5 mg. And I’ve started taking the shots every 10 days instead of 7 days so I can gradually wean myself off of it. I have about 5 lbs. to go to meet my personal goal and about 10 lbs. to be off of the “overweight” BMI chart. I have been seeing my doctor every 3 months for bloodwork and check-ups. I am happy that I decided to try Z, and I’m also pleased that my insurance company paid for all of it except for $25 a month. Totally worth it."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I am 58 years old and in menopause, and I have been on Zepbound for about 3 months now. I know that a lot of people say that they have had a lot of side effects. My experience has been great! I am still on the lowest dosage and have lost 24 lbs. I have been on cloud 9 because I am losing the weight, and with no side effects at all. I only had a very light tummy ache 2 times along with nausea the first week, but it was not bad at all. It was very, very slight and only lasted about 5 minutes each time. Since then, I have not had any side effects at all. I would say yes, that I do recommend Zepbound, but it is not for everyone. You can at least try it and give it about 2 weeks and see how it works for you. I say 2 weeks because it was my second week that I had absolutely no side effects. I honestly don't even want to admit the minor side effects that I had the first week because it was so minor. You never know, you might like it and love it! I would at least give it a try."

Last night was the first time I was nauseous and vomiting. I don't know if it was from the medication, but that day I had eaten chips and chocolate. I had not since I started. I want to believe eating those led me to being sick. Burping started about 3 weeks ago but only lasts for a day. It has happened 3 times. Been stuck on the same weight for 2 weeks."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started taking Zepbound five weeks ago. I started with 2.5. My first couple of weeks were fine, but by my third week after that shot, I could not eat for 3 days. I tried even sipping on water and couldn't because of the nausea. My throat kind of burnt all the way down to my stomach, it felt like someone was squeezing the top of my throat. I just took my first shot of the 5.0 3 days ago, and I still haven't been able to eat because I'm so nauseous, and again my stomach's hurting. I tried yesterday to take some Rolaids, but that made me throw up. I haven't told my doctor, and I'm still going to continue taking it, but if this keeps up, it's not worth it. But I will continue to try maybe one or two more weeks, but if it just keeps up and is this miserable, I'm going to stop taking it. Hopefully, no one else has this feeling. But I didn't lose 19 lb in one month. I hope everyone does better on it than I am."
