For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I was terrified to try this product because of the reviews I had read, but I just had a feeling I would be fine. I put in the pill a few hours before bed Tuesday night and was completely fine and got to sleep without ANY pain, and when I woke up I was still feeling sore and I had lots of discharge, but by the end of the next day I was symptom-free. It's now the following day and I'm feeling back to normal, however, there is still a white discharge, but I read that that is normal because the medicine has to leave your system. Overall, had NONE of the issues that I had read about in reviews. Extremely pleased."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "This was my second YI. The first time, I used the 3-day but stopped after day 2 because I felt so much better. So this time, I decided to go with the 1-day to get it over with. I put it in right before bed and then, like so many others, read these terrible reviews. I braced myself for the worst and went to bed. I honestly didn't sleep very well because I was expecting to wake up in pain. But I didn't. No burning, minimal itching. I peed twice in the middle of the night and made sure to wipe back to front. My only complaint would be the discharge, though it's to be expected. Just used a panty liner and no big deal. Woke up in the morning, took a shower, and used the wipes, and I feel no symptoms. I think it's trial and error but no complaints from me."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Okay, listen here. It's really irritating reading about how 'it's burned so bad'! Lord have mercy, you have a YI, of course, it's going to burn! I applied, and yes, it burned, but understand that that just means that you have an infection that evidently needs to be cleared. Your vagina is infected, and imagine putting lemon on a cut and then later complaining, 'ahhhh, it burns'... okay, well, I applied around 10 pm, and it burned for a while, but the overall effectiveness was amazing. The itching was gone in less than 2 days. The other burning and discharge were gone within 3 days!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I was afraid to use this product after reading all of the negative reviews, but I knew I had a yeast infection and did not want to waste extra time and money to go to the doctor. I did not have any of the problems that other users listed. The most that I experienced was a little bit of mild heat after I inserted the ovule, but no burning or itching. This product does cause discharge, so I would recommend using panty liners or pads. It cleared up my symptoms within two days, and I feel much better. Would recommend!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I had a yeast infection for a couple of months. Like most people, I thought it would go away on its own, but it didn't. I finally decided to order Monistat 1 day. But once I received it, I got scared to use it because of all the negative reviews. I was scared of the intense burning! So I put it off for 2 weeks. Finally, I knew I had to use the product or the infection would never go away. I used it on a Monday morning. I waited for that intense burning/pain that others had mentioned, but it never happened. I was so thankful. Only bad thing, there was a lot of discharge. Other than that, I was fine. I felt better immediately, but it took about 2 weeks for it to completely go away. I definitely recommend this product!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I had slight discomfort, a little itching in the vaginal area. I purchased the Monistat and inserted the applicator around 1 am. When I woke up, I was in horrible pain. There is no longer an itch, but the worst burning sensation ever!!! Before, there was no discharge or redness, just slight swelling. Now it's burning, red, and there is discharge. Never using again!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "So luckily, I put the ovule in prior to reading all the scary reviews. I basically gave myself a panic attack thinking my vagina was going to be on fire..... So I waited... and waited... and nothing bad happened. There was some burning when I first put it in, but it subsided. There's also discharge because obviously what goes up must come down. Overall, not a bad experience."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "At first, I was skeptical because of the reviews I read... But of course, I had read the reviews, lol, after I had already inserted the medication... I was so scared to fall asleep... I literally was waiting on the horrible experiences I've read about, but thank God I didn't.... It worked great... I'm glad I bought it... Maybe you guys have had allergic reactions and didn't know.... Idc, but like I said, it worked wonders for me. No itching, no horrid burning or swelling... Just a lot of discharge, other than that, it was great."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I love this product!!! I put it in around 12 pm today, and now it's 11 pm the same day, and I feel so, so, sooo much better!! The itch was bearable. The burning was only there when I sat down. I am having a lot of discharge, but it's totally unnoticeable! I would use this product again for sure. I recommend this 100%"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I feel really bad for everyone who had a poor experience using Monistat, but my experience was much different. I had a lot of discharge and some burning from my yeast infection. My discharge literally came out like a period. The first night that I used Monistat, I did wake up to a lot of itching, and there was a heavy flow of mucus substance (I guess that was from the egg insertion?), but I used the cream after I went to the bathroom and went back to sleep. I’m currently on day 3, and I no longer have discharge or weird smells, and my vagina burns some, but it’s really only a little when I wipe from the bathroom. Disclaimer: I only realized that I had a yeast infection after intercourse because it was burning so much. It didn’t necessarily burn throughout the day, but like I stated, I did have a lot of discharge."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I took Monistat 1 for my yeast infection, and reading all these comments about burning and swelling that has NOT happened whatsoever. I inserted the ovule 3 days ago, and all I've experienced is just the discharge coming out. I still have discharge from the medicine coming out, and it's thick and super white. Although it says '1-Day Treatment,' give it a full 7 days to make sure the medicine has done its job. I felt slight itches here and there, but nothing too major. This really isn't a bad product, our bodies are all different."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Got a YI and two days later tried this product to cure it. Agree with most of the responses. OW! Itchy and annoying. Inserted at midnight and all the next day felt like my vagina was chafing and this sht gave me gnarly discharge all day! Like TONS of gross discharge. Not to mention I was on a 9-hr flight while receiving this stuff in my underwear.... Such a horrible experience. But now it's been 36 hrs since inserting the meds and it's improved by about 60%. Would recommend the 3-day treatment. That's always worked for me in the past. I've been so itchy!!!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Took antibiotics about 2 weeks ago, had slight sensitivity on my lips during sex two times, didn't think much of it until it burned when I peed after sex. Took some probiotic gummy for a few days, hoping it would just go away. It's been a week now, this morning, super itchy and uncomfortable with the tiniest bit of discharge, I decided to buy this product. Inserted it at 9:30 am at work-on and off burning, not too itchy, I've just left it alone. Peed twice so far, a bunch of white discharge now. Second pee, I had a little bit of blood on the wipe when cleaning up and reapplying cream. 4:30 pm still mild burning enough to notice, not too bad. 6:15 burning slightly more. 8 pm burning stopped. 9 am no burning, no sensitivity, still discharge, but it works."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I used this product before reading the reviews, and began to worry a little bit when I started to feel a tingly feeling. I came here and saw all the reviews, and to be honest, it sent me into a panic. I thought I was going to be in so much pain. Although I have to say it did get a little warm down there, it was never unbearable. The only downside is the discharge, but that was expected."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Started having symptoms of a yeast infection 2 nights ago. Woke up yesterday with full-blown symptoms. Itching, discharge, irritation. Used the Monistat 1 at about 5 p.m. Less than 24 hours later, no symptoms. Love this stuff and highly recommend it. Had a little abdominal pain after insertion, but only for a few minutes. Just a little pink discharge after too, but that's totally gone. Will definitely use again if needed."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "This medicine is very uncomfortable. Just like any medicine, it does have side effects. The discharge is disgusting (the package warns you about it), and the burning is terrible for about 2 hours after. HOWEVER, the cooling pads & cream included are awesome. So is a pack of ice. It will kick your YI ass. Probably yours too."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "So I’ve been dealing with YI for a couple of weeks straight, and it usually goes away a few days after my cycle begins, but not this time. I was very uncomfortable and opted to use Monistat 1. I read the instructions before using and inserted as far back as comfortable and did not have any issues with discomfort. I did notice discharge within an hour of insertion, but after the second hour of use, my vag was feeling better with some tingling from the medicine. I did notice a bit of itching while with discharge the first hour, and I used the cream to alleviate this. I think it was the YI being flushed out. After using cream, I felt better. After the second hour and with a fresh liner, I went to bed with no issues. It was definitely an improvement from the YI and symptoms from before using the medicine. Today is the next day, and about 14 hours later, I do feel some tingling sensation but haven’t felt fresher. I’m happy with the results so far."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I tried this yesterday night and went straight to bed. Woke up with some cramps and a lot of leftover discharge. But I don't feel nasty anymore, and I don't have odor. It was nice meeting with you, Monistat 1. My YI is damn near gone in a day."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Never, I mean never, will I recommend this medication to anyone. It worked for the yeast infection, but the next morning, my area is so swollen. I have bloody discharge from the trauma of the medication. It's on fire. I should have stuck with the 7-day Monistat, this is so uncomfortable."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "This medication is a painful experience. I took it last night to care for a mild yeast infection. After waking, I found that my symptoms intensified and new ones occurred. The medication caused me to experience vaginal discharge that irritated my vagina even more. I became swollen and red, and it started to burn when I urinate. I made a doc appointment and received oral medication to help the infection. My doc informed me that the reason Monistat 1 is so painful for so many women is due to the high levels of medicine within the 1 dose. The medication also irritates the skin so much that it causes the swelling, redness, and burn. She said that the 5 or 7 is much better...or paying a visit with the doc for some med."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "DO NOT TAKE THIS DRUG. I had a mild yeast infection: some discharge, itching, swelling, and I wanted to treat it quickly, so I picked Monistat one day without doing any research prior. I put the dinosaur egg in me before bed and slept through the night, but when I woke up for class, I started to experience the worst pain I have ever felt. The burning was so much worse than the actual infection, and it's been 6 hours since it started burning, and it's still continuing. There is also blood coming out of me. I've been told that the 7- or 3-day Monistat is a similar experience, but not as bad. This drug is also not even guaranteed to work, so I experienced this excruciating pain for nothing and have to go on the prescribed pill."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I inserted the medicine at around 10, and it didn't feel any different until about 12. Then it all went downhill. I had a burning sensation and a horrific itch. The worst pain I have ever felt in my entire life. I cannot even put into words how excruciating the pain was. All I could do was cry and try to ice to cool it down. It lasted for about 2 hours and then started to cool down a bit, and I decided to take sleeping pills so I could sleep through the rest. I woke up pain-free. I'm still having discharge and an occasional burn/itch, but nothing severe. It made the infection go away, but the pain I went through was not worth it. Save yourself the pain and don't take Monistat 1, but use the less concentrated ones like the Day 7!!!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "DO NOT USE. Unless you want to feel like someone shoved a red-hot pipe up there. Don’t. It’s awful. Currently laying in bed at 2 a.m. with an ice pack between my legs, the swelling is awful, the burning is worse, and the discharge is bad."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Ok, so I definitely bought this before reading the reviews, but my experience wasn't nearly as bad as others. I put in the egg around 12 am and had to wake up and drive with some people for 16 hours. Yeah, very uncomfortable being in the car, and I started reading reviews and started really getting scared, but at the same time, it wasn't as everyone else was saying. It did itch and got a burning sensation, but I forced myself to just ignore it with some heavy music. I did have a lot of discharge. And that worried me because it did seem like it got worse. But when I actually went back to sleep and woke up this morning (about 36 hours), there wasn't any discharge, just itching. So I put on the cream, and now about 40 hours later, I feel normal again."
