For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Never again! I inserted the ovule at around 10:00 right after a shower, along with the cream. I woke up around 2:00 a.m. to the worst burning and itching ever. I can't sleep, it literally made me burst into tears, the pain is so bad! I would much rather go back to the slight annoyance of my YI rather than deal with this."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "This is a great product. Didn't quite experience that burning, god-awful sensation, and the next day the symptoms were gone. Although there was a warm sensation and a bit of itchiness after insertion, it was nothing major, and I was able to go to sleep and sleep through the night. Good luck, ladies!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Omg!! Fire, fire, fire. My vulva felt like I sat on a campfire!! This is too strong for a delicate place (vagina). Almost an hour after insertion, my itching intensified, burning felt as if I sat on Satan's lap-just excruciating pain-until all of a sudden I felt relief out of nowhere. I will use a prescription from my MD next time. Whewwww, horrific experience."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "First of all, this so-called 1-day medication's sole purpose is to clear up an infection in one application, right? Well, it seems to me this company is making a fortune on us women. My experience is the same as all these other reviews: burning, burning, and did I say burning? Oh yeah, and I forgot to mention it's 4 days later and I still have an infection. Now I have to spend more money to get another one if I want to clear this up. So... now I just made the CEOs of Monistat that much richer! The company will say, 'Well, it says right on the package may not work for all yeast infections!' To me, this is just so they can cover their butts. Shame on you, CEOs of Monistat!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "OMG! This is death! Way worse than what I started with. I was on antibiotics, and after, I started to have discomfort when peeing. No itch, but I didn't want to wait to that point. Decided to get the devil egg. Worst decision EVER!! Not only now does it itch, but it's on FIRE!!!!! I am trying to keep calm because my husband is sleeping, but I want to scream! Why didn't I read reviews before buying! I don't know how to get rid of it. On top of it, I have an interview for a job in 6 hours... can't imagine trying to get this job with my vajayjay burning like hell. HELP!! This demon egg has got to come out."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I wish I had read this before doing it. I am currently laying in bed trying not to cry because the burning and itching are so bad. I put it in a half hour ago again, and I just washed as much as I could out. Do NOT use this. I feel like my insides are on fire!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "So here's the deal. Don't take this unless you know you have a yeast infection! Bought this one since it seemed the least amount of time would be involved. Then I went home and read reviews. Everyone is warning about this INTENSE and HORRIBLE burning and itching they felt, which actually made me hold off for a few days. If you do not have a diagnosed YI, then this is going to BURN. Otherwise, it's going to work like a charm. About ten minutes after putting this in before bed, I did feel a little bit of itching, but not even enough to want to scratch. I fell asleep within 15 minutes and slept through the night. I had a diagnosed YI. I had NO BURNING. I had very little itching. This product is going to hurt if you don't have YI!!!!!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Oh my, let me just say if you want to feel like you are wearing a jalapeño pepper as a tampon, then this product is for you. This was by far the worst product out there for yeast infections. I had to run to the shower, use the shower head, and put cold water on my vagina just to cool it off. The next day, she was sore and felt no more burning sensation, but boy, was that horrible the day before. Next time, I am doing a 7-day. Not worth the burn."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "This is awful!!! I should've read the reviews first!! I was uncomfortable with the yeasty infection, but I was functioning daily. This thing has me laying here holding my crotch, begging for the painful, uncomfortable itch and burn to go away! I just put it in 2 hours ago. I got what I could of the 'egg' out. I hope this at least has some effect for the better so my fiery vag wasn't for nothing! Awful experience, won't be doing this again! I paid an expensive amount of money, I feel, for pure torture!!!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I am prone to yeast infections after using antibiotics. After using antibiotics for 5 days, it popped up overnight just like I expected. Seeking immediate relief, I applied some witch hazel, which helped long enough for me to sleep through the night. The next morning, I went to my local Rite Aid and purchased Monistat 1. The itching and burning were significantly reduced within 2 hours and cured completely within 18 hours. For those of you reading the negative reviews, please consider that those for whom this product has not worked might not have had a yeast infection but possibly BV (bacterial vaginosis). Many women who self-diagnose often think they have a YI when it is, in fact, BV. As always, if you are unsure, PLEASE see a doctor!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I am shocked by all the negative reviews on here. Maybe I am less sensitive than most, I'm not sure. I just recently had my first yeast infection and bought this right away as recommended by my co-workers. I inserted the ovule and left it in overnight and used the itch relief cream to relieve the normal symptoms from the YI. By the next morning, the burning and swelling were completely gone. I applied the cream once more the next day, and by the next night, all symptoms were completely gone. I would highly recommend this product from my experience!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I inserted the little egg about 12 hours ago, and all I felt was a slightly uncomfortable warm/burn sensation. I was even able to go out shopping and get coffee with some friends. The burning started about 3-4 hours after insertion and then lasted about 2 hours. I can now happily say that after only 12 hours, a lot of my YI symptoms have calmed down and the area is just sort of tender to the touch now from the medication. Just make sure you wear a pad! But like I said, the burning was nothing like this hellfire that some of you are describing. I am so sorry to all of you that experienced such horrible side effects. For those of you who were like me and read the reviews after already using the product, just know that there is hope!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Okay ladies, so I tried MONISTAT 1 because I had an uncomfortable itch that lasted about a week. I didn't read anything before and just used it in the middle of the day around 1 p.m. (bad idea). At first, it was uncomfortable burn and irritation, but I just stuck it out and slept comfortably through the night. This morning I woke up with NO itch! I've used Diflucan before, and it usually works, but I didn't feel like going to the doctor. If you have a slight itch and discharge, I highly recommend it! After I read it, I saw the horror stories and was terrified, but seriously, you know your own body. I have an ongoing issue of UTIs, yeast infections, and bacterial infections, so I know when to use what and would recommend this product to anyone!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I don't feel burning but deep internal itching. How can this be? The YI was nowhere near like this. It is very, very, very uncomfortable. Woke me up out of my sleep 2 hours after I inserted the ovule. I should've stuck with regular treatment. I thought something was wrong, so I went back and read the instructions and saw where it mentions side effects. Should've been in large writing in red. I'm doing my best to bear it, but I definitely would NOT recommend this to any other woman. It's crazy!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Monistat 1! This medicine is unbelievable! First of all, it puts you in more pain and discomfort than you were already in! The burning sensation is unbearable. I'm literally sitting on the toilet trying to push it out. I can't even sleep, it's been in for about 2 hours. Use the 3 or 7 day, it is less harsh."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "It is as bad as everyone said. Immediately after I put the application in, painful, itchy burning in the vagina. For relief, I used a cold, wet cloth dabbed in water and apple cider vinegar. Let it sit for 10 minutes. And all was well."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I've never used such a horrible product. The burning I felt less than ten minutes after (and for hours later) inserting the medicine ball is far worse than any discomfort I felt from the actual infection. It is yet to be seen whether this will actually even clear up the yeast infection, but regardless of how quickly you wish to get rid of the infection, this product is not worth it at all. I'm in excruciating pain that has restricted me from sleeping and brought me close to tears. Do not take Monistat 1 day."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "DO NOT USE! GYN does not believe in prescribing Diflucan, so he said try Monistat 3 day. I said I would rather take my 1 pill, but he said try that first. I went to the store, embarrassingly grabbed the cream, got ready for bed, inserted the cream. Literally, 2 minutes later, I looked around like WTF. It itched and burned down there. I cried. My husband did not know what to do. I came to this forum looking for solutions. I kept seeing all you can do is scratch and cry. So I saw one post where she said she took a bath, and I soaked in the tub. It took away the burning a little, but the itch was still there. I would rather not have taken it if it was going to feel like that. I took a sleeping pill so I wouldn't cry all night. I told my doctor, and he called in my Diflucan."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I'm 18, and I've had a yeast infection once before in my life. After using the meds right before bed (as suggested), I went to sleep feeling a burning sensation. But I expected that much. Waking up at 4 a.m. (now), I'm begging someone to drive me to the hospital because the burning is so bad, and my labia minora have swollen to the size of God knows what. I definitely do not recommend this product to anyone."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I have had yeast infections before and used Monistat treatment. Although it's been a long time since I've had one. Anyway, I went to the doctor for itching and was diagnosed with a yeast infection. She gave me the pill to clear it up. A few days later, I was still itching, so I picked up the Monistat 1-day treatment. I inserted it at midnight, and within an hour, I woke up burning inside. I douched with warm water and went and laid back down, and now four hours later I'm sitting in hot water in the bathtub. They must have changed the ingredients on this product. I'm praying the burning eases up soon. I can't sleep, and I'm on fire inside. This product will never touch my body again after today!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I'm reading a lot of bad reviews, and the common complaint is burning, itching, and swelling. Well, if you read the pamphlet before using, you will see in fine print it says may cause burning, itching, and swelling due to the medicine actually doing its job. I'd rather feel that than the most annoying itch ever in my vagina. I find the one-day treatment works better than those seven-day treatments, and I would buy again, but hopefully I won't need it either ever again or for a very, very long time because vaginal itching is the worst. I would give this review a 10, but it cost $20.00 lol. But I understand for something to be cured, it's gonna cost."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I never thought to search for reviews before using a medication, but I will from now on. I used this medication for the first time last night, and by morning, my vulva and clitoris were swollen and extremely tender and painful. It hurts to walk, even, and burns when I urinate. It seems as though this is a fairly common reaction, judging by the reviews--makes me wonder why this is on the market?"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "OMG, had a little itching and redness, so decided to save a trip to the gyno and bought Monistat 1 cream-filled application. I took it at 9:00 pm. Within minutes, I felt tingling and burning but thought that was part of the process. I fell asleep and awoke a few hours later because I felt like I had something in between my legs, and the pain and burning were so severe. Got a mirror and screamed, my VJ was the size of a pear! I looked deformed, like nothing I ever seen. It was swollen 10 times normal size. I was laying on the floor crying. I read about how many other women this happened to, and one suggested a douche with cold water. Try to get the cream out, although so much already absorbed into the vagina. Helped a little. BEWARE."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "It is now 3:50 am. I am burning and itching worse than I EVER have with YI. I took the medicine at 11:30 pm and went to bed. I have been woken up by throbbing, stinging, and very intense itching three times now, and it’s work at 5 am. I am absolutely annoyed to the max! And so glad I read this because I almost went to the emergency room thinking this is not normal. I have had to strip down naked, and I don’t know when I will have any relief. I hope and pray that God will take this pain away long enough for me to sleep. Thank you, ladies, for the reviews, because without them I would be freaking out ten times more than I am. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!"
