For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I'm 17, and this is my second yeast infection. The first time I used Monistat 3, and I didn't have any itching or burning that I do now while using Monistat 1. This pain is excruciating. I took it around 7 pm, I didn't feel anything until 8:30 pm. I knew I had the infection only a day ago, so I bought this one for faster relief, not knowing it was going to cause more itching and burning than the actual infection. I could not stop complaining to my mom, so I sat with my legs wide open in front of the fan to cool it down. I hope this is just the medicine working."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "NO & HELL NO!!!! After not even 2 hours, my poor vagina and vulvar area was burning, itching worse than the YI did, and all was inflamed. Came on here THEN read the reviews. I jumped in the shower and washed everything off of me/in me as best as I could. I am now lying in bed, in November, with the ceiling fan on (no ice pack), cooling my poor affected areas down. Don't use the strongest formula. As for me, I'll go back to other methods... even the nausea I get with Dipluran is better than this!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I've had yeast infections before but have always caught them early enough to take care of with home remedies. I wasn't as fortunate this time around... My YI symptoms became too unbearable today (to the point I almost left work 'sick' to go home and wallow in my misery), so I picked up the Monistat 1 Maximum Strength ovule. Not sure if their idea of maximum strength means singe a woman's vagina with fire until there are no nerve endings left in there to itch, but OMG!!! I inserted the ovule around 9:30 pm, and about 30 minutes later, it began to itch and burn a million times worse than any YI I've ever experienced. I had to take an Epsom salt bath and get as much of it out as I could. HORRIBLE, NEVER AGAIN."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I had vaginal itching, burning, and my vulva was swollen from a yeast infection. I was just miserable! I went to my local pharmacy and bought Monistat 1 (which I have never used before) because I wanted to get rid of the itchiness and burning as quick as I could. I inserted the ovule, and I did experience some excessive burning for a few hours, but after that, the burning subsided, and now it's been about 10 hours, and I already feel so much better! I would recommend it, and if I ever get another yeast infection, I will buy it again!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I used the 1-day yesterday and inserted it at 11:30 a.m. with a panty liner. No burning, just the annoying leakage, which is why I used the liner. It relieved the discomfort of the yeast infection right away. I've never used this medication before, but would use it again. Today, the burning and itching are gone, and everything is clearing up."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Fire in the hole! In my opinion, to use this product, you have to be a sadist or a psycho. I'm on a strong course of antibiotics for an upper respiratory infection, and as a present, I got a yeast infection as a result. I decided to use the 1-day treatment to just get it over with, and it may be the worst decision of my life. Within moments after I administered the treatment, I began with an intense burning and itching sensation that was worse than the infection's symptoms. I just hit a home run with my shower head to try and alleviate the discomfort and rid myself of the devil cream. I would not recommend nor ever use it again. User beware!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Please save yourself from this misery. If you are reading this too late, may the force be with you. I am on day 3 now of using the 1-day treatment, and every night has been a total nightmare. It burns so immensely, and there's nothing you can do about it but wait it out and pray it subsides soon. It's like acid fire in your hoo-ha, you can't even sleep or do anything else except say, 'OMG!' over and over. I feel so helpless. Sitting in a warm tub, 2nd night now, with salt water, trying to soothe my poor burning vag, please stop burning soon! I put it in about two days ago and have been in excruciating pain since then. I can barely walk and have been lying in bed for almost two days straight. This stuff even kickstarted my depression, and I have been crying all day, haven’t been able to eat, can barely pee without the burning making me see stars. For Vaginal Yeast Infection "So I purchased the Monistat 1 ovule Monday night and inserted it around 9 something. As I was laying down, I started to read the reviews on here and got scared for my life because I was scared that I would endure that burning and itching. I actually didn't have any problems with that... but the second time I put the external cream on, I damn near died. It burned so bad that I hurried up and ran to the bathroom to take a shower. I think I used it too close in time... but it's now the next day and I feel wonderful. No more itching or burning, just discharge still from the medicine coming out."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "This is my first time having a yeast infection, and Monistat 1 is the worst to ever take. Okay, I inserted this ovule last night, and it really burned once the medication started to leak out, so when I woke up, my vagina was huge, and it burned soooooooooo bad. For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I used Monistat One ovule, and OMG... THIS IS THE EGG OF FIRE!! The burning is unbearable!! I couldn't take it... I tried to get what was left of the ovule out, and I am currently soaking in the tub trying to get some relief... not really helping!! I would not recommend anyone using this! I would rather deal with the symptoms of the yeast infection!! I am debating calling the fire department to come spray a hose to put the burning out!! Not a happy camper!!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "When I used the Monistat 1 day or night maximum strength for a self-diagnosed yeast infection, I did experience burning about an hour after using it, and I must say it was horrible. But I just dealt with it, I went to sleep, and the next morning the swelling and pain were gone. I had a minor burning feeling, but it went away the next day, and now I'm perfectly fine. I recommend it. You're going to go through a little pain, but you get better."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "First of all, this so-called 1-day medication's sole purpose is to clear up an infection in one application, right? Well, it seems to me this company is making a fortune on us women. My experience is the same as all these other reviews: burning, burning, and did I say burning? Oh yeah, and I forgot to mention it's 4 days later and I still have an infection. Now I have to spend more money to get another one if I want to clear this up. So... now I just made the CEOs of Monistat that much richer! The company will say, 'Well, it says right on the package may not work for all yeast infections!' To me, this is just so they can cover their butts. Shame on you, CEOs of Monistat!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "First, I don't write reviews, but I have to for this one. I just finished taking antibiotics and got a YI. I used the Monistat 1 Day O. After inserting it, within an hour, I was burning and itching severely. It's been 3 hours now, and I'm still hurting. I can't even close my legs because I'm so swollen. I don't recommend this product if you are a sensitive person. I will never, ever buy this again. Trust me, if you don't want your vagina feeling like someone threw gas on it and then threw a match on it, don't get this."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "So I'm about to turn 16, and I got my first yeast infection. And my mom took me to the store to get something, and I had gotten Monistat 3. The product actually took the swelling away, but the itching is unbearable, like I hate it. But other than that, the product really works, and if you guys are complaining about how it makes you itch and burn more, on the box it tells you that you're gonna have more of a burn and itch while using it. Other than the itching and burning, I'd recommend this product."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "This is awful!!! I should've read the reviews first!! I was uncomfortable with the yeasty infection, but I was functioning daily. This thing has me laying here holding my crotch, begging for the painful, uncomfortable itch and burn to go away! I just put it in 2 hours ago. I got what I could of the 'egg' out. For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I'm 17 years old, and I took this once before a few months ago. After 3 hours of insertion, I woke up screaming and couldn't fall back asleep because the pain was so horrible. But 2 days later, all my symptoms were gone. Unfortunately, I just got another yeast infection due to a weak immune system. I was so scared to use this again because of my painful first experience, but I knew it would be the fastest way to get rid of it. Thankfully, this time, the burning wasn't nearly as bad as the first time but still burned and itched. It's only been 12 hours, but my symptoms are already going away. Basically, tough out the pain and stay calm because it will go away, and your yeast infection will be gone in a matter of days."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I don't usually write reviews, but I felt with all the terrible experiences, it was important to share mine. I have had a YI for about 4 days and was taking a pill medication with no luck. So without reading the reviews, I purchased this. I got home around 7 pm, inserted the ovule, and got scared once I read the reviews online. I used the cream and got immediate relief and was fine until about 10:00 pm. At 10 pm, I felt some burning and itchiness, but nothing worse than how my YI felt, and it wasn't so uncomfortable that I couldn't sleep. To me, the burning was it working, so I just let it happen. I woke up this morning at 7 am, and the YI is completely gone. I would definitely use this product again."
