For Acne "Using this product was the best thing I could have ever done for my skin when my doctor prescribed this for me. I didn't have any side effects as long as I used it as the doctor prescribed, the only thing was that when I went to get my prescriptions refilled, it cost almost $400, and I could not afford it. If I could afford this cream, I would use it forever, my skin was so beautiful and smooth, the color was awesome. The only reason I stopped using this product is because I couldn't afford it any longer. I went back to the doctor, and she had to give me a lower version of this cream. This time it's not worth my time, but to anybody needing to use this product, please use it, it's a good product. Take my advice!!!! You only need to use a small amount at night, and it worked great. The cream lasted for at least 6 months."

"Started this 11 weeks ago. I am so, so sad right now. I have been having horrible hair loss the past couple of weeks and couldn't figure out why. Just figured out it is the Tazorac! Read up on the side effect of hair loss. It's really bad. My hair was so healthy and nice. I literally have almost bald areas with sparse hairs over my ears and my front hairline. It feels thin everywhere, but I can't see it. Stay away from Tazorac."

"I used this Tazorac on my arms for keratosis pilaris (KP). I didn't see anywhere online about purging, and yes, purging on my arms. I thought my KP was getting worse, but the dead skin cells were just coming to the surface, and it looked like pimples on my arms. I think it took a month before that all went away. So yes, your arms will purge. There is still some discoloration, but there are no bumps, so stick with it! I use this still periodically to maintain smooth arms."

For Acne "I was given a very small sample of this, but when compared to another expensive medication for acne, this Tazorac I find to be three times more effective. I’ve been able to use the little tube several times, and each blemish dies off quickly, almost overnight. There is a little dryness and sometimes peeling, but no more blemish, so this works wonderfully. I give it two thumbs up! Great job to whomever invented it!"

"I was prescribed this to lighten hyperpigmentation, and after only one use, following instructions to the letter, I had a severe enough reaction that I needed to see a doctor. Severe itching, redness, burning, inflammation, and bumps all over my face. Won't ever touch this stuff again."

For Acne "I've tried a lot of different acne medications, and some have worked for a while and then quit working, Tazorac is no different. When I first started using Tazorac, my face was the clearest it's ever been. Then, about 3 months later, my acne came back worse. Tazorac is the best treatment I've used so far, but in the end, it did not work out for me. :("

For Acne "I’m 28 and have dealt with moderate to severe acne since age 16. I’ve done two rounds of Accutane and was put on Tazorac after other retinoids (adapalene, tretinoin) stopped working for me. I was seriously considering a third round of Accutane two and a half months into treatment with Tazorac when I had by far the worst breakout I’ve had since I started using it. Miraculously, I’m now almost at the 3.5 month mark and have barely had any acne in 2-3 weeks, even after stopping the antibiotics I was also taking. If you’re struggling, stick with it at least until the 3 month mark because you might finally get the results you’ve been looking for! Wishing you all the best of luck."

For Plaque Psoriasis "I just started using Tazorac for my plaque psoriasis and for mild acne on my face. I have heard about people losing hair because of it. I am concerned because I have many areas on my body I'll be using it on for psoriasis. Anyone experiencing balding? Has this worked well for you?"

For Acne "If I could rate this a 0, I would. I have struggled with acne for 5-6 years now. At the end of October, I FINALLY went to a dermatologist. She prescribed Tazorac along with Acticlate. However, Tazorac DOES NOTHING. It is a topical treatment meant to be used at night, it is supposed to help clear acne and scarring. I would use it every night after washing my face. It didn't work... AT ALL. I still get acne, and I have been using this stuff for 6 months. I highly DO NOT recommend."

For Acne "Tazorac made my acne worse. Once I stopped using it, my acne got better. It was in use with another topical cream. It’s very expensive."
