For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I am on my first week of the 2.4 dose (so I am just starting month 5). My weight loss seems a bit slower than others (story of my life), BUT I am still losing! I’ve lost 26 pounds in 5 months with making few modifications to my diet. I eat similarly to how I did before, but my portions are much smaller. I have experienced some side effects, but everyone’s experience is different. I can usually combat the upset stomach and gas with Gas-X and Pepto. I have experienced constipation, but that’s honestly something I’ve battled all of my adult life. Miralax in my morning tea or coffee certainly helps with that. Bottom line for me is this… the occasional side effects are 100% worth the results I’m seeing!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "The first four weeks on the .25 dose I lost a few pounds. The next 8 weeks on the .5 dosage I lost about 5 lbs, but then I plateaued and my weight actually increased. My Dr. increased the dosage to 1.0, which I have been on for the last 10 days. I have not lost any more weight. My opinion is that this drug may be helpful to some, it didn't help me. I was buying the drug from Novo Care at a cost of $500 per four doses and have spent a total of $2,000 to date. I have 2 doses in the refrigerator, but I am not going to use them. What I realized was a 12 lb weight loss, severe lethargy, stomach discomfort, and severe constipation. Conclusion: Not worth the money or effort. The side effects far outweigh the benefits."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started on Wegovy in December 2021. In the beginning, it made me sick to my stomach. I had the belching and very little appetite. When I got to 0.50 mg, oh my God! I could hardly eat anything for a couple of days. I was scared to go to the next level, but I did. When I was on the 1 mg dose, I didn't have any issues. Once I got to 1.7 mg, it wasn't bad either- a little belching, headaches for a couple of days, upset stomach, and constipation kicked in. Getting ready to start the maintenance level of 2.4 mg, and let's pray I tolerate it well. So far, I have only lost about 27 lbs, trying to lose about 17 more to get to my ideal weight. This is the best medicine that has helped me lose and, prayerfully, keep it off. I have learned how to eat small meals and make better choices in foods."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Been taking Wegovy for 2 months now. First month, very little side effects & lost 14 lbs. Second month, moved up to the 0.5 dose. Stomach issues started, mainly rumbling noises with diarrhea/constipation. Has gone on for weeks now (not days), so have referred myself to my GP."
